Weird apology

“Her place was soon transferred to the principal, who stepped in and found me. I bowed to her as she just nodded. She scanned around and analyzed the surrounding, after spotting nothing, she turned to me asking for explanations “speak what happened” was her orders.

“I was just standing and observing the pets when that teacher dusted something on this rabbit.”

“I pointed at that staff and then at the rabbit. Thankfully, I was supported by the principal. She ordered the other staffs to take the teacher to her room and keep her under supervision till she was done with me.”

“That teacher hollered and shouted asserting that she did nothing wrong, that child was the reason. However, some staffs dragged her away as it was obvious they were exasperated too while fighting back with her. She scratched some of the teacher on their arms and some were filled with red scars on their face. Some of them shoved her front forcing her to walk quick, the other hit her at the back, scolding her to stop squabbling.

“On top of all her actions, the fact that caused all the ladies to grow in temper was that she had broken her limits in persecuting the kid called All Killing Kind Illusionist. Even though he didn’t have a name, or any relative, family or background but, that doesn’t mean he should be criticized indiscriminately by a crime that he didn’t commit. No one appreciated what she did, and all turned against her.”

………………………………………..

On the other side, the principal turned to the child, she smiled at him saying, “Little All Killing Kind Illusionist, I apologize for such behaviour from the teacher. She was responsible of your room’s children. Perhaps she must have enjoyed watching the other little kids teasing you. She must have adopted to your dumbness and now use it for her own good. I didn’t expect such ill manners from a teacher. We will take care of this. Do not worry or feel overwhelmed by what has taken place.”

She strode to the little boy, placed her hand on the little boy’s head, blessed it and said, “little boy, I am really sorry for you.”

Akki grew surprised when he heard her speaking such honest words, he looked up at her, incapable to believe, as she went on “you lived for a short time among us. For not much long term that we can sit together and recall it. Sadly, the duration you have lived here also doesn’t have any shiny memory that you would carry it around with you, my son. We were all mean to you, no one respected you, no one played with you on top of all, no one regarded you as a child.

If you stumble upon this narrative on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen from Royal Road. Please report it.

I know how they all treated you cause I used to watch you from my office window. Everything was obvious to me. There was nothing they could hide from my eyesight. Even during my career, children would greet me cheerfully with a modest bow but, what about you? You weren’t allowed to get off your bed. I always observed you sitting alone with that bear in your arms. It is such a pity for you but, what I can do. I am turning aged and so are my words with me. I watched everything but could do nothing. Even if I struggle my words would mean nothing or no one would listen.

Please forgive me for what has been done to you. It was all due to your odd hue. If only… if only you were like us perhaps, they would change their attitude on you. Please forgive me.”

Surprisingly, she dropped on her hands and started grieving silently right in front of the little boy. She cried continuously, requesting to forgive her.

Little Akki was frightened out of his skin to look at an elderly women crying like a helpless destitute child weeping for a lost toy. She was crying in immense pressure, with tears falling down her cheeks, dripping down her chin. Her shoulders were shuddering as though they were trembling in cold. Her teeth were squeezed over her lips like it would tear it off. Her cry of regret gagged her breathing but still, her lament wasn’t reaching to a halt. Her voice were heard in cracks with each breath she took. She was acutely guilty about what had transpired.

She hoped that she could take back the time and everybody would change their view on this little orphan. What has happened was truly awful for the status of the house and the children’s treatment.

The little boy didn’t understand why was she moaning so sadly in front of him. He didn’t know how to console her or how to make her stop crying.

He was a child and didn’t know much about giving hugs to weepers or caressing their backs, calming them, putting their cry down and supporting, by saying it okay or it’s alright.

Just like all the other children of his own age, he stepped front, raised up his little hand stretching high and reached to the principle’s head and gently caressed his hand on it saying “it’s alright no problem, don’t cry it’s fine.”

“Ah…. Ah… Haha” the principle surprisingly started laughing. Her tearsome voice was soon converted into a soft laugh. A soft chortle that praised on the child’s honest behaviour without saying a word on it. She felt sympathy on the boy who didn’t know anything about emotions but, still he stood supporting the old lady in her cry.

She held on his little soft palm, taking it into hers and rested in it between her palm expressing “how generous of you my child. I am extremely delighted for you to have such a good and kind heart within your little body. I hope when you mature you will surely be a fine, grand boy that every being will admire you. May you always succeed.”

The boy gawked at her in bewilderment as nothing was clear to him. He gazed at his hand that was enclosed within the old principle’s palm then he shifted his sight at the lady’s face. When she looked up at him his stares seemed as though he wanted to speak. His expressions imply as though he wished to tell something but, he was waiting for that word.

That word that only authorized him to talk. He wanted to open his lip and speak out by moving his tongue unfortunately, he required to wait for a chance
