Yuichi POV

The afternoon sky, how I wished that our camping trip hadn’t ended yet. Today is Tuesday, which is two days after the camping trip, and I am currently walking toward the HQ as usual. If you are wondering why I am going to HQ today, it’s mostly because the research for the recent artifact has concluded. I even had to skip a few classes to get there as soon as possible. I hope it is all worth it. I suddenly feel something vibrating in my pants. It’s probably a phone call, so I reach for my phone in my pants pocket and open it. I see that an unknown person has called me. Odd. I have a feeling that this is one of the staff members that I haven’t added. There is also a possibility that this could be a teacher or student from school. I guess this call piqued my curiosity, so I picked up the call.

"Good afternoon, Yuichi is speaking."

"Yuichi. I hope we will meet again." The voice sounds feminine.

Before I could ask why she was calling me, she cut the call, and with that, my curiosity just left hanging in my mind. I sighed before turning off my phone and putting it back in its original place. Now, I couldn’t help but wonder if this was a sign of misfortune. With this, I rushed toward HQ, fearing the worst.

I look back at the street sign and see that I still have about 10 more minutes. As I walk, I start to try to figure out who called me. The caller’s tone is rather seductive and demanding like she wants to convey a message that is going to happen one way or another. The message is that she hopes that we will meet again. So, whoever she is, I must have met her before. Also, given that she wants to meet again, I guess the time when we met was impactful enough that she wants to meet again. Yes, I use the word "meet" three times in one sentence. It’s truly a mystery. As I tried to remember all the events that have happened in the last month or so, I accidentally bumped into someone. Luckily, no one fell.

"I am sorry."

I look at the man, who looks to be in his twentys or more and is definitely older than me. He is wearing a full black tuxedo. He is also a bit taller than me, and by the way he looks, from his clothes to his hairstyle, he is both a gentleman and a businessman. Don’t forget the black hair, as black as the night sky in hell.

"No worries. Be careful out there." He said this before giving me a pat on the shoulder and leaving the scene.

"Alright, thanks." I said back before continuing my way to HQ.

He seems like a nice guy. Although it could be just a disguise to hide his hatred toward me because of that. Well, it's nothing too important anyway. I continue walking toward the HQ, while thinking about the mystery caller. I do have a few guesses by now, and one of them is bad news for me.

After about 8 minutes or so, I reach the HQ. I walk toward the receptionist to do my check in. I then walk toward the elevator and press the floor to Kiyoshi’s office to grab my lab coat and my ID. In the HQ, it is mandatory to always wear your ID, except for the expert agents. After the elevator stops at the floor, I walk out of it before continuing my journey to Kiyoshi’s office. Maybe I should make a cup of coffee there. I also think that there is some leftover pizza there. I eventually reached the office, used my spare key, and opened the door to the office. The office is currently empty since Kiyoshi is currently spending some time with his friends.

I go to the kitchen and activate the coffee machine after putting a cup in there. While I wait for the coffee to be made, I look over in the fridge and spot a Tupperware filled with some left-over pizza. I grab it and throw some pizza in the microwave. I wait for about two minutes for the pizza and another three minutes for the coffee. I grab the plate of pizza and the cup of coffee from the desk and start doing some business, like looking at some of the HQ reports and the laboratory reports. For the HQ reports, nothing is out of the ordinary, and because I work with Kiyoshi, who works in the logistics department. I mostly read some of the logistics reports and contracts. I just do a quick read before looking at the laboratory reports. The reason that I have access is because I used to be a staff member there before joining the agent program. Currently, I am the Director of Artifact Testing. One of the great pieces of news I got was that our expedition team found an artifact in the country of Igrisul. I wonder whose Artifact it belongs to. After some time, I am done with reading the reports and wash the plate and cup before heading out to the laboratory. Of course, I close the office door before I head to the laboratory. The HQ has three different laboratories. One is for researching Artifact, one is for conducting testing and experiments, and the last one is for researching Artificial Artifact. The one I am going to is the Experiment and Testing Laboratory, which is on the 12th floor. While I was in the elevator, a friend of mine who works in the public relations department started a conversation with me. He told me about his brother’s wedding that will be held next month, and I congratulated him. Time flew by since the elevator stopped on the 12th floor, so I bid my farewell and walked out of the elevator.

I look into the laboratory from the window and see that it is not as busy as usual since the working hours are almost over. I only see a few junior researchers and maybe one or two senior researchers conducting experiments there. I walk into the laboratory after putting on my lab coat.

"Good afternoon, everybody." I spoke.

"Good afternoon, Director." A few junior researchers replied. I guess the seniors are busy with their experiments.

"So, where is the Fenrir's Fang Artifact?" I asked.

"Please, follow me, Director Yuichi." One of the junior researchers said.

I look at his name tag and see that his name is Tsuji Sora. I nodded before following him toward one of the senior researchers and an old partner of mine. He looks like your typical professor. He is even equipped with white hair and glasses. He is also wearing a black T-shirt inside the lab coat.

"Nice to meet you again, Yuichi." The man offers a handshake.

"The pleasure is all mine, Professor Mikio." I said this while doing a handshake with Professor Mikio.

"You know you don’t have to use formality. I even don’t use your formality, Director Yuichi." Professor Mikio said mockingly.

Both of us immediately laughed, leaving poor Sora confused. We eventually stopped laughing and put our serious faces back on. It’s a hard task to do.

"Sorry, sorry. But I need to at least do some justice to your Ph.D." I said this while wiping a tear from my left eye.

"Don’t be; I am just older than you. I am sure you will achieve that in no time." He said this while cleaning his glasses.

"So, how’s your family?" I asked.

"They are doing fine. Apparently, my son makes you his idol." he answered while chuckling about his son’s situation.

"Well, I am flattered. I hope I can live up to his expectations."

"You better be, Yuichi."

"Anyway, Professor Mikio. About the artifact." I was trying to switch up the topic.

"Geez, I almost forget. Sora, can you grab the case in my office?" Professor Mikio asked Sora.

"Right away, Professor Mikio." Sora said before walking toward Professor Mikio’s office.

"Anything, you want to report first."

"One thing is for sure: it is one of the legendary wolf’s fangs."

"Is it from the Fenrir legend?"

"I analyze the composition of the Artifact and it has similarities to what is depicted in the legend. Although."

"Although, what. Professor Mikio."

"It seems that my research has found out that the Fenrir is not a legend but a real historical creature."

"How can you be sure?"

Professor Mikio headed toward a table with a bunch of papers before grabbing a whole journal to give to me.

"Take a look at this."

"I guess somebody has been busy." I said before that I started reading this hell of a journal. I mean it is at least 100 pages.

"Well, it’s not only me. There are like 10 researchers that work on this project."

"That much." I said a bit shockingly.

"Yes. There are a lot of junior and senior researchers who are fans of Norse Mythology."

"How about the funds?" I said it curiously.

"Well, since you personally suggest this Artifact be researched. The Department of Treasury accepts my proposal in an instant."

"I see. Good for you then."

"I suggest you read page 53. There is some proof of Fenrir’s history in our world."

I move to page 53 and see that Fenrir’s Fang consists of a lot of minerals found on Earth, about 68%, but there are still about 20% that are considered space minerals, like minerals from asteroids and Mars. The rest is still unknown.

"This doesn’t prove the Fenrir once roamed the earth above the legend."

"Well, can you explain how you got it in the first place?" Professor Mikio asked curiously.

"Is there a possibility that it is artificially engineered?"

"That is a possibility, but our team actually found something on one of Lumisaaret’s islands."

"Huh."

Professor Mikio then grabbed a few photos from the table and showed them to me. One of the pictures shows a researcher holding a big fang in a snowstorm.

"Where did you find this?"

"It is on the Island of Tumma."

"Is it an artifact?"

"We haven’t tried it yet. When it arrives here, we will do some experiments as soon as it arrives, which is supposed to be tomorrow night."

"Well, then. This has piqued my interest." I said this before putting the journal on the desk.

"Professor Mikio, here is the briefcase." Sora said while handing the briefcase to him.

"Thank you, Sora." He said this before grabbing the briefcase.

"You’re welcome, Professor Mikio."

Professor Mikio grabbed a key from his lab pocket and used it to open the briefcase to reveal the Fenrir’s Fang in pique conditions.

"Shall we try it?"

"Do you mean shall I use it?"

"What else am I thinking?" He said this before laughing a bit.

"I want to see some of the experiments first before trying them. I mean, it is a God Artifact."

"Sounds reasonable." He said this before closing the briefcase and locking it with his key.

"Sora, can you hold this for me?" Professor Mikio said to Sora.

"Leave it to me, Professor." He said this before grabbing the briefcase and holding it.

"I have most of my research papers in my office. Please follow me." He said this before walking toward his office.

"Right behind you." I said I was following Professor Mikio with Sora beside me.

Natsumi POV

"Why did I have to come in to work today?" I say this while sitting in the HQ Food Court.

"Onee-chan, are you alright?" My little brother asked concerningly.

"I am fine, Yoshito. Just a bit tired, that’s all." I said this while patting Yoshito’s head lightly.

"Onee-chan, can I buy an ice cream?" He said this while blushing a bit. I mean, as much as he wants to hide it, I could see a bit of redness in his cheek, and I think it is cute.

"Sure." I said this before reaching for my bag and grabbing a wallet.

"Just use this card. You can buy anything if you want to." I said this while giving him my credit card.

The reason I am fine with Yoshito spending anything with this card is because it is a joint card since he is not old enough to get paid legally. So, his paid check comes to me, and I use it for him most of the time. Of course, I have to sign a few contracts before I become his certified guardian.

Before I could rest my head on the table, I got a sudden vibration from my back pocket. Please don’t be work-related. I take my phone from my back pocket and open it. I checked the caller, and it was from the receptionist. Great, a work-related issue. With a heavy sigh, I picked up the phone.

"Natsumi is speaking; how may I assist you?"

"Miss Natsumi, this is Moriyama Sakura from the Receptionist Desk. Miss Natsumi, may you be so kind as to come to the receptionist's desk. There is someone who wants to meet you."

"Huh, may I know the name?" I asked confusedly.

"I am sorry, but he won’t give his name until Miss Natsumi comes to the receptionist desk."

"Can you call the security? No one in my friend lists has said anything about coming here."

"I am sorry, but he insists that Miss Natsumi come meet him. He said that he wouldn’t leave until he met Miss Natsumi."

I sighed before telling the receptionist that I would be there shortly and cutting the call. What is it now? Can I just have a simple day without anything to worry about?

"Is there anything wrong, Onee-chan?"

I heard Yoshito say something, so I looked at him, who was holding two ice cream cones.

"Aren’t you a greedy little brother? Are you going to eat that by yourself?" I said this while teasing him a bit.

He shakes his head cutely before giving me one of his ice cream cones. That’s so cute of him. But I decided to tease him one more time.

"Is that for me?" I asked, to which Yoshito nodded shyly.

"That’s so sweet of you." I said this before grabbing the ice cream cone and giving it a quick lick.

"You’re welcome, Onee-chan." Yoshito said this while giving a bright smile.

"Yoshito, let’s go to the Receptionist Desk. I have some business to do there." I said it with a bit of frustration.

Yoshito might have felt my frustration, so he asked if I was okay, to which I assure you that it is a small inconvenience. He did ask again if I was in trouble of some sort, and I said that someone was looking for me, and the receptionist asked me to go meet him. Finally, Yoshito nodded at my answer.

"Let’s head there, Yoshito." I said this before standing from my chair and grabbing Yoshito’s left hand.

"Are you ready?"

"Yes, Onee-chan." He replied happily.

Yoshito and I start walking toward the receptionist desk since it is on the same floor as the food court. It only took a couple minutes to get there. When we got there, I saw a tall male that looked to be in his 20s standing in front of the receptionist desk while wearing a tuxedo. He has black hair that is somehow darker than normal black. As soon as one of the receptionists saw me, one of them pointed the man toward me.

"My name is Natsumi. What business do you want with me?" I asked, trying to keep my composure.

"Natsumi. It’s a pleasure to meet you. My name is Kimoto Shinji, but you can just call me Shinji for short." He said this while making a light bow.

Why do I feel I have met him before? I look again at him, and I feel he resembles someone I have met before.

"I’m sorry if I sound rude, but have we met before?" I asked curiously.

"Yes, we have." Immediately, a small, dark tornado surrounded him, and everyone near him got pushed away from him.

I hold Yoshito for dear life and try to grab my Artifact from my bag.

"Someone, call for backup." Security team, evacuate the building." I shouted while trying to stand up.

After a while, the tornado disperses and reveals Shinji still wearing the tuxedo, and his hair is still black. But what makes him different are the bloody red eyes and the fact that he is holding a black lance that looks like your classic jousting lance. I sighed, knowing that I had another battle.

"Clear the area, Excalibur; lend me your strength." I said this before dashing toward Shinji.

I got enveloped by white light before it stopped and revealed me with my battle suit and Excalibur. I immediately go on the offense and swing Excalibur, aiming at his neck. Of course, he intercepts it with his lance. I tried to kick him, but he used his other hand to catch my kick. He then uses his strength to throw me into the receptionist's desk.

I crashed into the receptionist’s desk and broke the desk. I hope insurance covers this. Alright, time to get serious. I stand back up while dusting away some of the dust.

"Excalibur, Dual Sword." I said this while channeling my AM into Excalibur.

"Dual Sword, activated." Excalibur informed me before a white light engulfed it and another Excalibur showed on my left hand.

"Time to move the battlefield." I said this before dashing toward Shinji.

As fast as I could, I launched a flurry of attacks from multiple directions. He used his lance to block most of my attack, but I did get a few hits in that seem to be ineffective since he has some kind of regenerative healing ability. As I attacked him, I could see some weakness in his stand, so after fifty attacks, I stopped and appeared in front of him. I kicked him straight in the chest, and that sent him flying out of the building and crashing into the road. I wiped some sweat from my face before walking out of the HQ as well.

"I’m impressed that you managed to find an opening." He said this while cleaning the dust off his tuxedo.

"Expect more of that soon."

"This time, try to hit me with your blade next time." He said this before using his power to set his lance on fire.

"Try to dodge this." He said this before shooting a fireball from his lance.

I used Excalibur to block some of the fireballs, but what I didn’t realize is that he used this as a distraction to get close to me. Lucky for me, I saw this and managed to block his lance with both Excalibur.

"Impressive."

"This is not my first rodeo."

"But. I will make sure that this is your last." He said before that black wings appeared on his back, and he used them to gain some height.

He then starts shooting more fireballs with his lance. I tried to block it as much as I could, but it proved to be difficult. Out of nowhere, Shinji got shot in the chest. I believe he got the chance to move a bit, so it missed his heart. But it must have hit one of his arteries. He then put his hand on the wound, and I saw some blood coming out of it. This must be Yoshito’s work. As I said, Shinji got hit again by Yoshito’s bullet. This time, it hit his right shoulder. Like last time, he tried to move away, but it managed to still hit him.

"It seems that our battle must end for now. For I need to remove this nuisance first." He said this before flying away to find Yoshito.

"Don’t you dare touch him." I said before trying to catch up to him.

Yuichi POV

I don’t know what is happening in HQ, but the alarm for the laboratory has activated, signaling the need to evacuate the building. The laboratory has been cleared up except for Professor Mikio, Sora, and me.

"Yuichi, what is happening?" Professor Mikio asked me.

"I don’t know. But I think it’s best if we leave."

"Sure, let me grab some of my research papers. Sora, can you help me?" Professor Mikio said before gathering some of his research papers.

"Sure thing, Professor Mikio." Sora replied before helping Professor Mikio gather his research paper.

"Well, well, look what we have here." I hear a feminine voice in the lab and look around for the source.

My fear has become a reality. I see a woman in a revealing outfit, a spear, and an Anubis mask. I immediately reach toward my Artifact, which is inside my lab coat.

"Caster. " I said before activating my Artifact and changing into my battle suit.

"How nice of you to remember me?" She said this while pointing her spear toward me.

"I have a feeling that you called me before." I said before pointing my gun toward her.

"Nice work, detective." She said it mockingly.

"What are you after?" I said this while trying to come up with a plan.

"Nothing much, just that briefcase." She said this while pointing her spear at the briefcase that Sora carried.

"Why do you want it?"

"A simple question requires a simple answer. I just want to take what is ours back."

"Yours."

"Yes. Now, come on. I will be nice and not kill you all if you give that to me now." She said this while tapping his foot repeatedly.

"Should we give her the Artifact, Professor Mikio?" Sora said she was a bit intimidated.

"Yes, you should. Come now; I promise to save your life. Tell you what, I can even give you a bonus just for you." She said it charmingly.

Sora almost tried to walk toward her, but I stopped him on his track before nodding toward him.

"I’m sorry, but that won’t happen."

"I knew that you would say that. But may I get your reasoning?" She said this while pointing her spear toward me.

"I and the others in this establishment fight for humanity. I can’t let anyone who tries to harm that for the sake of themselves continue."

"You really amuse me. But let’s see if you have determination." She said this before she plunged her spear into the ground and summoned 10 zombies altogether.

"Rise, my soldier. We shall stand our ground and protect our beautiful country."

A blue summoning circle suddenly appeared and surrounded the room. I then summoned about 10 World War II British soldiers all around the room. It’s real people, but some kind of hologram with their own health points.

"Troops fire."

All of the soldiers immediately used their rifles to start shooting at the zombies and the Caster. One by one, the zombies fell due to the soldiers attack.

"Don’t let up; get into formation." I said before joining the attack that I was mostly trying to hit the Caster, which she blocked most of.

I then used my AM to create two more soldiers beside Professor Mikio and Sora.

"Professor Mikio, Sora. Please evacuate the building now. I will deal with her." I said while keeping shooting the Caster.

"Good luck, Yuichi." Professor Mikio said before grabbing Sora’s other hand and leaving the laboratory with the briefcase and some of the research papers.

"Not on my watch." She said this before launching herself into trying to attack Professor Mikio and Sora.

Without a lot of thought, I launched myself into trying to tackle her to the ground. Good news! I managed to tackle her to the ground. Bad news: I managed to tackle her to the ground.

"Why, you little!" She said this while trying to get off me as I pinned her to the ground. Good thing I managed to knock her spear from her grip.

"Get out now." I said this while trying my best to pin her down.

"Let’s go, Sora." He said this while running toward the exit.

"Stop them." She said while summoning more zombies to stop their path.

"Troops, defend them; defeat the zombies." I said.

The soldiers begin to focus on clearing the path for Professor Mikio and Sora. With that final help, Professor Mikio and Sora manage to leave the laboratory and run down the stairs to get out of HQ. Finally, they leave the area. Now, back to the battle.

"Why you!!!" She said this before using her right leg to kick me off her, which she manages to do.

She immediately grabbed her spear before trying to stab me repeatedly. Key word: trying to. I dodged most of the attack, although I did get a few cuts here and there.

"Where does your confidence go, huh?" She said this while trying to stab me in the stomach.

"Sorry, I am not that good with close combat." I said this while dodging the attack.

"I guess I have the advantage." She smirked.

"Not for long, troops fire." I said before retreating.

The caster doesn’t have time to react before getting hit by many bullets from the soldiers. I then summoned five more soldiers and a Lieutenant, who started shooting their weapons. The soldiers mostly use a standard military rifle, while the Lieutenant uses a Lanchester Submachine Gun. I fire my handgun toward the Caster. I hope this is enough.

"Surge, Medjay!" I heard the Caster say this before summoning five zombie soldiers wearing full armor and wielding an axe-like weapon but with half-circle heads.

"Troops, defeat the zombie soldiers first."

All my soldiers immediately started attacking the zombies, who started to attack them.

"Finally, we can have our match." She said this while pointing her spear toward me.

I sighed before gathering up my thoughts to figure out how to beat the Caster who somehow survived a firing squad. She didn’t give me time and started attacking me with her spear, which I dodged since I don’t have any way to damage her in a close-range battle. My only weapon for close range is my pocketknife, which I used to block her spear when she got too close.

My luck must run out since she manages to knock my pocketknife from my hand and point her spear close to my face while pinning me to the ground.

"I guess your luck has run out. Goodnight." She said this before attempting to plunge her spear right through my brain.

I close my eyes, fearing the worst. But, after a few seconds of not feeling any pain, I open my eyes and see a golden sword holding off the Caster spear.

"Sorry if I am late."

I look at the man who says it and see that it is Fumio wearing a light black armor and some kind of medieval white robe. Fumio then used his sword to parry the Caster’s spear and start attacking her.

"Yuichi, you handle the zombies. I will handle her." He said this before blocking the Caster’s spear.

"Leave it to me." I said this before summoning five more soldiers to start attacking the zombie that managed to defeat my old soldiers.

"Curse." She said this before plunging her shield to the ground and summoning 20 more zombie soldiers to battle my soldier.

"Lieutenant, you handle the zombies. I give you full command of my troop." I said this while trying to help Fumio by shooting the zombie who wanted to attack him.

"Sir, yes, sir." The lieutenant said this before moving the troop into formation.

Natsumi POV

I kept on chasing Shinji, who was flying toward Yoshito. I already called Yoshito and told him to go to a specific location to trap Shinji. As I was catching up with him, he fired a few fireballs toward me. I use Excalibur in my dual sword mode to block the fireball. He also made it hard since I was doing the whole chasing thing in a neighborhood. Who comes up with the places anyway? He has fired a couple fireballs toward some of the neighborhood property, and I must block them. A pain really.

As I try to catch up to him, Yoshito fires out multiple sniper shots after reaching his spot. Since Shinji is flying, he doesn’t have to worry about civilians. I was told that Fumiko and Hanako are already at the location, preparing some sort of trap. I already tried to call Yuichi for some backup, but he didn’t pick up. But I got some information that there is another battle in HQ, and currently Yuichi and Fumio are handling it.

Man, I am getting tired from just running. This is not as bad as when I ran from Snowflake, since you know the whole armor-destroying ability. Lucky for me, they say that it is just around the block.

Immediately, ten golden portals appear all around Shinji and shoot out a golden chain, each made from calculus equations. All the chains stop Shinji on his tracks and make him drop his spear. Immediately, many soldiers in high-tech gear surround him and point their weapons toward Shinji.

"We got him." I heard what seemed to be Fumiko’s voice.

My leg finally gave up, and I fell on my knee and used my two hands to support my weight so that I didn’t fall. Yoshito saw this and left his sniper to run toward me to check if I was alright or not. Hanako also shouted to the medics to go toward me.

"Are you alright, Onee-chan?" Yoshito asked concerningly while checking my health.

"I’m alright. Don’t worry, Yoshito." I said this before changing to a sitting position.

"Medic, can you give me some ice packs?" Yoshito asked the medic beside him.

"Here you go, Sir." The medic said this before giving him an ice pack.

"Thank you." Yoshito said before putting the ice pack on my forehead.

"That’s nice." I said.

It’s cold enough to help me relax a bit after that intense marathon. I then let my guard down and lay down on the ground. Yoshito quickly noticed this and used his arm as a pillow.

"Thank you, Yoshito." I said this while relaxing a bit.

"You’re welcome, Onee-chan." He said before a medic gave him a pillow.

I lift my head up a bit to let Yoshito’s arm out and switch it with the pillow that the medic gave me.

Hanako POV

After confirming that the enemy had been chained tightly and all the soldiers had secured their position. The same goes for the backup soldiers and some infantry. I told Fumiko to handle this, and she nodded and started integrating the enemy. I walk toward Natsumi to check on her health, only to see her lying down on the road with a pillow on her head. I laughed a bit at this.

"Don’t worry, Natsumi. Fumiko-chan and I will handle things from here." I said.

"Thanks, much appreciated." She said it back.

"Are you hurt anywhere?" I asked concerningly.

"No, I’m fine. Just focus on our task. Let me get some rest for now."

"Alright. Yoshito, can you go back to your position?" I asked Yoshito, to which he nodded and walked back to his location.

"I will be with Fumiko-chan if you need me."

"Alright, I will be resting here. But please don’t need me."

I laughed before walking back to Fumiko. I see the team already handling the enemy’s weapon and analyzing it with their mobile lab. I was a bit curious, so I walked toward the research team and asked for the analysis. The main researchers said that this weapon belongs to Lucifer. I asked if they could identify the class, and they said it was a Fighter Lancer. So, it’s the same for me. I said my thanks before telling them to lock the weapon. The main researcher nodded and told the other researchers to lock up the weapon. After signing a few papers, I walk back to Fumiko, who is still interrogating the enemy.

"So, Shinji. Let me repeat my question one last time." She said this before using her power to tighten her chain all around the enemy, who is named Shinji.

"What is your reason to be here?" She said this before untightening her chain.

"I wish I could answer that, but it isn’t in my power to do so." Shinji spoke confidently.

"Why you." Fumiko said before summoning another golden portal that shot out a golden chain around his neck, attempting to suffocate him.

"I have full rights to kill you right now if you don’t want to elaborate further." Fumiko did a hand sign to signal all the soldiers, including Yoshito, to aim their weapon toward Shinji.

"So, answer the damn question."

"I only answer to my queen." He answered with a slight struggle due to Fumiko’s chain choking him a bit.

"Who is your queen?" She said this while loosening the chain around his neck.

"She will be the one who saves me and gives you your appropriate judgment." He said it confidently.

All of a sudden, I hear some kind of glass shattering, and I look for the source of it and see one of the golden portals has shattered.

"Huh."

Then I see an arrow destroy one of the golden portals near his head. Then another one, and another one. This is the moment when, when you blink once, all the portals just disappear.

"Troops, search for the source of that arrow and don’t let him get away." Fumiko said before summoning more golden portals that when one was summoned, it just got destroyed by an arrow.

"Damnit. Guards surround him now. Yoshito searches for the Archer responsible." Fumiko said.

Before any soldiers could surround the enemy, a small tornado suddenly surrounded him, and after it stopped, a short female girl wearing a short white tunic and brown hunting shoes. She has short blue hair and holds a beautiful white bow.

"I guess we have another guest." Fumiko said this while creating three glass prisms with her staff.

"Fumiko-chan, why does she look familiar?" I said this while looking at her.

"My name is Fumiko. I am the leader of this group. Who are you?" Fumiko said, while pointing her staff toward the girl and Shinji,

"Hanako-chan." The girl looks at me.

"Fumiko-chan." She looks at Fumiko.

"I’m sorry." She said this while shedding some tears.
