You were a Geode Harmony Administrator, one who regulated the songs of earth magic and their effects on gemstones. When a Bard tried their hand at being a jeweller it was your job to ensure the spell songs were used safely.

In this land nearly everything had the potential to be a skill. The ability to use a knife for basic attacks and speak the common tongue were some of the few things that went beyond the normal function of a body that were routine enough not to be except for the more exotic uses, sweating was about the only thing that I hadn't heard of someone having a skill for and that was probably only a matter of time.

They say the gods were on an acid trip when they created this world but I'm not inclined to believe it, based on what I've seen they were just using reports of them for inspiration. Dwarfs being a type of golem and earth elemental hybrid just makes too much sense for someone who is tripping. Still everything might be a person, others picked up the mantle when they left. Speaking of which, people become protagonists and gain backgrounds - you can see my own above. A background is everything important about who you were at the start of the story, usually a species, a profession or a combination of the two.

Whilst it may not have been relevant before, it is important to note that I am not the human this would imply or an elf like most people who pursue the trade. The noteworthy differences between myself and a human are that I have six wings and four eyes, I come from outside the mortal realm and I have mastered a skill of dragon's breath, though that last is not normal for my kind and by which I mean I have the Flame Breath skill at one.
