--Present Time--
Shizuki slowly opened her eyes, she was laying on the bed as she checked the time--it was 06:00 PM as she sat up and realized that she's in the modern world. "W-What...? That was..." she muttered, remembering her past as a warrior princess with half-Onikami blood running through her veins. As she checked herself in the mirror, she was relieved that she still has chocolate long hair, dark cherry blossom eyes and porcelain complexion--only to find out that she was in modern world of Japan. "Strange... I thought my memories were buried inside..."
She gasped when she realized that she was looking for someone who she kept dreaming of, making her get up from the bed. "K-Kazuya?! Where are you?!" Shizuki snapped, she quickly went out of her room and quickly opened the door, only to find no one outside as she went downstairs of machiya house--she comically froze to see Kazuya is here as she fell down on the floor with a grumble. "Oh... thank gods you're here, what happened?" she asked.
Kazuya is still the same as before, but his smooth long black hair is shorter and messily kept into his neckline--his bangs almost covering his brown eyes but might turn blue if he's awakened and even his fair complexion. He wears a business suit with a blue tie as he was reading his smartphone with news, he wears glasses and somewhat... retaining his smug grin of his whenever he was being proud over something. He turned his head to see Shizuki and grinned when he saw her outfit is a pajama. "Hah, you're awake? I was asking the same thing, did you have some sweet dreams while sleeping, sweetheart?" he asked.
Shizuki stand up with a grumble, before she realized something--did they just reborn from feudal era to present era? "Yeah, I was--hey, Kazuya! Don't call me that!" she snapped in rage, before she remembered his flirtatious tactics--knowing him well... didn't really help at all. Then, she saw a photos of them together--from their date until their engagement and even... the wedding photos.
Oh, dear Kami-sama... they're together again. "Don't worry, Kaname and Yomi are okay--just that our past ability still within us and... turns out Yuzuki and Hozuki's remnants still somewhere until now," Kazuya explained. For some reason, Shizuki wanted to cry--she thought that both of them died in the past; but they were reborn in modern time like a miracle. "C-Can I see our wedding photo...?" she asked, putting her hand on her mouth. The businessman chuckled as he handed the phone to her, as the images slowly came up to her eyes. Shizuki was in tears as she remembered her memories as Half-Onikami warrior princess, even Kazuya as a Mountain God of the North Mountain who was a water dragon--there's also Kaname as a land god and serpent deity while Yomi is a priestess of Shizuki's age.
Shizuki was seen wearing a white wedding dress with cherry blossoms on her hair and bridal veil, along a large white and golden bouquet with various white flowers, Kazuya was next to her while he wore a black suit, dark blue necktie and formal shoes, looking at the camera with a smile on his face. She took a quick look to read the title of their wedding photos: Kazuya Amamiya and Shizuki Kasuga's Wedding. Then, they also attended Kaname and Yomi's engagement party together before their wedding took place. "So, we're married... huh," she remarked, realizing everything was now perfect and the balance was being kept.
"Remember, I did say our dream is our destined together. Like a stars and moon being fated, to fall in love over and over again, right? We can be apart--but I prefer my princess to stay," Kazuya answered, kissing her hand as he cupped her chin. Shizuki suddenly felt warm after hearing those words, remembering the time they would spend together as a pair and falling in love--whether it's good or bad. "Kazuya... thank you, I can't believe I'm crying..."
Shizuki muttered with a sniffle, while Kazuya went to pat her head gently. "Heh, there's no need to cry and sulk... that isn't a good look for you. Besides, we'll always going to reunite over and over again in the eternity..." he said before he flicked her forehead. His lover simply pouted and ranting about how did he take her for granted, even though he loved her as much as she did--which doesn't change. "You're awfully handsome this time, are you hiding from girls, huh?" Shizuki hissed under her breath. "You should've been aware that I was born to be handsome, hm?"
Shizuki just squinted her eyes at him, as she punched his chest as a result. As they looked over each other, Shizuki began to take a shower and breakfast--she was dressed in a work attire as a businesswoman like him; they walked out with the rings in their finger as their union together are inseparable no matter what happens to each other--Shizuki swore that he would find the remainder of Yuzuki and Hozuki's remnants or whatever tries to kill her or Kazuya. "What about the other gods like Tamotsu, Azusa, Takashi and Tsubaki? Also, the rest of our allies like Shinoe and..." she asked, sitting beside him when Kazuya started the car. "They're fine, they just got reborn in modern era, we should give him a visit tomorrow since we're going to work at some time," he added, earning a satisfied sigh from Shizuki. "Agreed, that's what we have to do," she replied, looking forward before she asked. "Also, how did we got reborn into the modern day?"
"Remember when we collected all of the Iridescent Pearls? We thought Yuzuki and Hozuki won't return, but turns out both of their remnants are somewhere and still hidden so... it affected our reincarnation and the pearls are to prevent war between the gods and demons in any chaos after we successfully sealed it," he explained. Shizuki could understand the hidden plan, making sure to keep peace and protect the mortals from the hands of the darkness. "So, can you use your ability with transforming into your water serpent dragon?" she asked.
Kazuya chuckled, shrugging his shoulders and with his grin remained firm on his face, he began to drive out of the driveway and he knew better than to make things easy. "Of course, but not in public areas--and don't start with that trick; I don't want anyone to get suspicious!" he said, which made her pout and blush at the same time, hitting his arm playfully while muttering curses from her mouth when he got an idea to toy with her. "Also, I can change into my past appearance but not on daily basis... we'll have a mission tonight, so... things are going to get busy."
'Which means, my ability is back...' Shizuki thought, sighing with a smile--even though the mission is far from over.
"So, what's the schedule for today?" she asked. Kazuya decided to check the papers for tomorrow before the two would have an enjoyable day of relaxing, having dinner and exploring the world. "Let's see... we still have some time before we can find the remnants, since we don't know the location of their hiding for now. So, why don't we have a romantic date after working and later have dinner?" he answered in a teasing manner, watching her expression. "Great idea, I don't really mind if you'd like to go there with me," she said as they went to enter the complex building of the company that Kazuya worked for.
Some part of her missed her home as a feudal warrior princess, but with her ability still within her--which means she still protect the people and prevent some monster would destroying everything around them. "Kazuya, who exactly our target is?" Shizuki asked, the CEO sensed the seriousness in his wife's voice. "Some evil yokais, obviously--which is part of Hozuki's army or perhaps... former soldiers of his," he answered, before he talked to his co-workers about some important job meetings, as they went to wave Shizuki. "But, for now... let's do our work," he whispered when she was heading to her desk, to discuss about some plans.
Shizuki realized, before she went to organize the worksheets that have some reportings of the finance and plans. 'How old am I again? Oh right, it's...' she checked her biodata in her laptop--her face went sour that she just turned 23 and Kazuya is like 27 now... making her grumbling as she slammed her forehead on the desk--Kazuya was laughing at her from a distance. "I hate office work... why do I sign up to get this?" she muttered under her breath as she received some papers to check out, putting the mouse cursor on the window selection. "Come on, this company is both of our dream to grow up, princess," her husband reminded.
"It's not a big deal, I miss the excitement we had in the past, instead... we're in the modern era and everything became boring," she hissed under her breath, earning a chuckle from her man as he went to peck her forehead. "At least we got free time to hunt some yokais," he retorted with a grin on his face, patting her shoulder when she heard some employees talking about them. "Aw, what a lovely couple. He looks handsome and she's beautiful, fitting with each other," some of them have muttered and talked about them outside the office. "Are you ready to be Mrs. Amamiya, Shizuki?" he teased.
'He's so annoying, but... I still love him that much,' Shizuki thought before she sighed heavily. Kazuya seemed enjoyed teasing her very much, perhaps this was his way to say "I love you" to her... which turned his lips curled into a smile as he knew that Shizuki would be safe. As they were done with work, Kaname waved at them with a smile--his blonde messy hair has uneven longer bangs, with light and dark shades into the end of his longer hair; now he has crystal blue eyes instead of bright orange-amber eyes with glowing yellow pupils--but still fair-skinned. Yomi also has a hime-style black long hair that reached beyond her back and framed her forehead--almost covering her closed brown eyes and still has alabaster complexion along a happy smile. "Hey! Over here! Kazuya! Shizuki!" he yelled with a hearty laugh, hugging Kazuya and patted his back while Shizuki hugged Yomi with a soft smile.
"Kaname... good to see you, man! It has been a long time, when was the last time I visited you both?" he replied, chuckling before he started shaking hands with him. 'Haruka and Hayate should be somewhere... where are they?' Shizuki thought, thinking about her two childhood friends. "About a few days ago, you should visit us from time to time, but... I understand, it's hard for someone to come out of meeting after meetings, isn't it?" Kaname asked, he currently working as an executive curator of the museum while Yomi is a guardian of the shrine like usual. "Guess that I really missed you guys, we should go and out for a hunt tonight as usual. We don't know where are the remnants going to be," Kazuya said with a sigh.
'I wonder if the others are reborn too, they should be... right?'
Shizuki thought, before she look back at the wedding ring in her left hand--while Kazuya also seeing his own wedding ring when he glanced at his wife; she was being distracted until he lean forward to her face, before kissing her lips. Both of their blue and red aura merged together and suddenly disappearing after he pulled away, Shizuki gasped before she punched Kazuya's right arm, making him yelped out of pain--seeing the same woman being as deadly as her past self. "S-Sorry... I was just surprised," she apologized, causing Kazuya to smirk. "It's fine, we need some fun too."
"Shizuki!"
Haruka greeted them happily as she approached them, together with Hayate who was walking beside her to visit their childhood friend. He grumbled at Kazuya who was standing beside Shizuki, Hayate's dark brown short hair is neatly combed back and silky unlike him--turning slightly wavy to the ends that framing his broad cheekbones. His blue eyes didn't change much and most of him still remains the same personality and feelings, even with Haruka's own chocolate hair. "Haruka, Hayate!" Shizuki greeted them happily as she hugged them, Kazuya put his hands on her shoulders. "Yo, long time no see--when was the last time we went to visit each other?" Kazuya asked.
"I'm wondering, you always got so many workloads and a bunch of busy schedules you managed to hold. Now, I know the reason why Shizuki was rushing towards work," Hayate snapped, earning a laugh from Haruka, Kaname and Kazuya himself. "But anyways, if you guys are free, why don't we go for a quick hunting?" Kazuya asked.
Everyone seems agree as they walk around to find the hideout for the yokai and the last of the enemies, Kaname noticed some people that have been gathering in one spot--some have been talking about something... until Yomi saw something unusual in their hiding place. 'They're not normal humans... there are traces of demonic energy, looks like they came out from a random portal of the other world,' the female priestess thought, seeing Azusa was approached him first with a small grin. "Heya! We meet again--" he yelled when Kaname towering behind him, making his smile go stiff and waving sheepishly to him. "O-Oh... hey there, I'm so sorry for making the things looks like hell."
"Seriously, Azusa... we were looking for your ass to hunt down the evil yokai remnants around this area!" Kaname retorted with a huff. The cheerful deity nervously laughed and rub the back of his head in embarrassment, so does Shinoe who have a stoic expression with a gentle smile while standing beside Tamotsu. "So, what's our plan tonight?" the latter asked. "I don't really mind killing someone from yokai's army of Hozuki and Yuzuki," Haruka whispered, earning a deadpan expression from Shizuki, and also a worried look from Yomi. "Here's the plan..."
Few hours later...
Shizuki yawned as she got home with Kazuya to their machiya house, she wondered if her late-parents are here or not--whether they're reborn or not; she still missed them. As she saw the childhood photo of her with them, Ryoga and Mizuki Kasuga--she truly missed them; Shizuki was smiling like an energetic princess she used to be. "I think they're enjoying their job in that festival a week ago, don't you remember, babe?" Kazuya asked, as he showered after he got off the call with Kaname. "Yeah... at least, they're reborn, it's been a long time we have to find the Iridescent Pearls around this world," she replied, before she turn around to face him. "By the way, Kazuya... are you happy? Because... we're together now, and I think you're a human too," Shizuki said in a worried tone, looking down as she didn't feel grateful for being selfish.

"Come on, princess... even when I'm a dragon or the god of the North Mountain; that doesn't matter much--but the person who I fell in love is you. I like you enough to hear you say that," he cooed, hearing a sigh from his wife--their bed remained untouched. "I still have my old power back you know, I can transform myself into a water dragon too. So, let's try it, because I bet your husband can't wait to see you at that state," he teased, causing Shizuki's eyes slowly twitched in rage as she saw his smug smirk on his face. "Huh... whatever, but I love you nonetheless even when you're a jerk."
Shizuki replied, before she went upstairs as she remembered the times she spent with him in the feudal era where they meet and became close friends, until Shizuki become the bride of Kazuya--married and became united as partners. As they finished taking showers, Shizuki put on her pajama and put her phone on the desk--before she laid down on the bed. Kazuya put on his night wear with a light blue shirt along a white trousers, while Shizuki using some oversized shirt with a light cream pajama pants; Kazuya simply lied down to the bed while brushing his hair. "Wait, did we went on honeymoon trip during the celebration?" Kazuya asked, scratching his temple.
"I think so... I mean, we woke up in modern era now, meaning that there's 500 years of gap or... more. I don't really want to wait another 500 years, by the way... thanks for proposing me. Of course, I felt happy to be with you and be there for you," Shizuki mumbled. The CEO nodded in agreement, as he turned off the lamp and now cuddling her and wrapped his strong arms around her waist. "I don't know, I was too afraid to leave you alone if I didn't proposed to you. The festival we attend with other people were fun, I like it... right?" he murmured, Shizuki laughed softly before sighing in relief. "And... for a very long time, I was thinking if I could change it all by letting the demon possessed me. At first, it was only Hozuki--but Yuzuki was also summoned and brought trouble to us. Even this life is already perfect enough... what makes you so happy about me, for heaven's sake?!" she wondered, as a single tear trickling down her cheeks.
Kazuya stroked her hair and pulled her closer to him, nuzzling his nose against her jawline as he tilted her chin. "Stop playing the fool, even in this time and age; it's also hard enough to try not to get separated as well," he hissed gently, in a very quiet tone, as he embraced his wife from behind with a smile. "Think about what you want, Shizuki..." he whispered, before pulling her to kiss him in the lips--and there's no hesitation of what can make them both happy. Shizuki wrapped her arms around his neck as they began to kiss passionately and Kazuya gripped her hip tight with his teeth bit down her bottom lips slightly, he doesn't want to have any more arguments with her while they got more chances than before; neither of them would die if they fought together.
He eventually pulled away before his finger trailed down her flushed cheek, Shizuki's innocent and happy smile never fade away as she heard his whispers. "Well then, I got an idea of what we can do," he answered as he held her smaller frame closer to him, pulling her in a hug. Shizuki was comforted, seeing Kazuya hold her so dearly without feeling lonely.
"Good night..."
Next morning...
Shizuki was making a breakfast in the kitchen, seeing her husband Kazuya was nowhere to be found since this morning. Although, she sensed someone entering the house as it creaked open--leaving a familiar aura as she turn around to see him; grinning like an idiot who have accomplished his daily chores. "It's weekend, you know? I was watering the gardensince our beautiful flowers need some water," he explained, wiping his feet with the matt as he stared at her. "Great, I hope you enjoyed that, also... what makes you have a grin?" Shizuki retorted, Kazuya began to pounce towards her. The moment when Shizuki almost tripped backwards, Kazuya firmly held her in his arms to prevent her from falling before they fell on the floor. "Ouch! Idiot, watch out!"
Shizuki growled, sighing heavily to see him staring at her but Shizuki didn't have time for this, she just cooked a couple of spicy tonkatsu with some veggies on the side. "Baby, don't be mean to me, didn't you say that you miss me?" he cooed, as Shizuki just smiled with her lips while her eyes narrowed sharply. "Last time I checked, we always live together until our missions or workloads are higher than usual, but not to mention how troublesome things are," she hissed. They got up and Kazuya sat on the table, as they both eat peacefully. "Shizuki, do you think when should we pay our family a visit? We all met, and we did manage to bond together--even I was going to keep up with my promise, we should--" he stuttered as Shizuki silenced him with a kiss.
"Yeah, yeah... relax--I understand what you're trying to say, seriously. Then again, you gotta be more patient than me, especially I can hear what you said even when we're miles apart," Shizuki reminded, causing him to smirk and made her feel irritated. "You're awfully easy to toy around with, it is quite fun for me," he said before kissing her hand, Shizuki blushed when he continued. "When can I expect our next date?" he asked. The brown-haired woman glared at him, she yelped when he went to pinch her cheeks playfully. "Stop... you're so annoying, at least we can pick a good place to watch a movie and lunch dates. Also, look at what you did, you almost made me drop the chopstick," she retorted, slapping his arm lightly before she chuckled when he pouted. "Do you expect our future kids...?" he muttered, his expression softened--guess this is how he was when someone mentions about children.
Shizuki's blush hardened on her cheeks, thinking about the future that might happen very soon--to both of them. She always wanting to become a mother someday, but to her expectations--she thought Kazuya doesn't want one until now. "Eventually... we did get married after all, and to be honest; yes, I do want a family, but... we don't need to rush if you're not comfortable with this, right?" she mumbled nervously, Kazuya silenced her with a kiss in the lips.
"It's fine... just to warn you, I didn't know anything about kids since I didn't spend time with humans much," he said, leaning against her side and tightening his arms around her waist as he sat on the chair beside her--burying his face against her neck. "But, now that I reborn with you as a 'normal' human... well, I'm still a bit confident about raising a kid, whenever they're newborns or something, we can take care of them," he assured.
"Really? You sure?" Shizuki replied in a shock manner, earning a confirmation from Kazuya with a slow nod. "It's a taboo to have a Hankami, you know... in feudal era," he said, Shizuki hummed--knowing that Hozuki is a Hankami; a supernatural beings that are a hybrid between human and god. "Come on, let's finish our breakfast so we go out..." Shizuki said. Meanwhile, Kazuya would've wished that everything would never fall apart between them despite going on a dangerous missions--especially to guard the Iridescent Pearls.
'And I was living in the illusion of peace, hah...' Shizuki thought in her mind. As they finished their breakfast, they wash the dishes before they go out with their respective bags filled with wallet, handphone and such, talking about random topics about modern life, news and funny experiences. "I wanna dive so bad..." Kazuya growled, it's been a while that his past as a water dragon god always choose maritime, blue ocean and the beauty of the reef beneath the seafloor. "Hey, you're marrying a half-Onikami, it's only a matter of time that I could turn into my Onikami form too," she retorted.
Kazuya grumbled, before they headed to the view of the waterfall and he couldn't resist the urge to transform here, standing over the cliff as Shizuki huffed. "I don't think you're going to transform after you're bored to death or making us both exhausted, seriously... sometimes, I wanna punch your arrogant smile off," she hissed, seeing him smirked when he step on the railings of the fence as he jumped down--before morphing into bluish-purple winged serpent dragon flying out of the waters to the sky, shouting happily as he flew around. 'You crazy...' Shizuki thought with a pout as she saw the dragon's head popped in front of her--attempting to pester her before diving back to the waterfall; causing her to roll her eyes before she jumped down and landed on the dragon's nape--even seeing him purring under her gentle strokes to his body.
"Having fun, huh?" Shizuki giggled softly while her husband's ears twitched, until he nodded with glee--which made the said latter huffed lightly in amusement, noticing that they were being watched by a yokai of Hozuki's army. "Over there!" the yokai yelled, before Kazuya roared and blasted a huge torrent of water with electric aura--his head turned to look at them. Kazuya nodded to Shizuki as she already knew what the plan was, before she manifests her katana and slain the yokais who didn't made their move; seeing how deadly the dragons and the half-Onikami princess was, after managing to dodge the sharp metallic weapon as she transformed into her Onikami form--slaying every bits of Hozuki's remaining army who tried to ambush them and she slaughtered them mercilessly; before she reverts back to normal.
"K-Kill them! Kill them all!"
The moment when Kazuya moved back to normal form, he immediately struck his fist on the floor; unleashing an icy earthquake to summon large numbers of icy spears to impale the yokai around him and Shizuki landed beside Kazuya--it didn't take too long when the whole yokai army was slain. Suddenly, one of the minions tried to catch her--only to be beheaded by her katana before she sheathed her katana back. "That was cool, sweetheart..." Shizuki complimented with a smirk, causing him to smile--a soft chuckle was caught off when the spear pierced his chest as it began to bleed heavily. "W-What the...?!"
The spear turned into ice as it didn't really affected him, before he pulled out the spear as he regenerated quickly and the blood stains his clothes instead--Shizuki covered her mouth as tears began to run down her cheeks, seeing blood and ice remains on the floor. "You scared me!" she shouted, seeing him tossed the ice spear to the last yokai and Kazuya chuckled to face her. "Hey now, don't cry... it was a surprise attack by accident," he said, holding her cheeks and gently wiped her tears--cocking his head to side. "Should we search for our little remnants, Shizuki...?" Kazuya muttered, she nodded as she hugged him before they began walking around the area to see another place they could visit. "Fine, but please... don't do it again..."
"Don't worry... we have lots of fun hunting them later," Kazuya whispered, making her chuckle as they held each other hand, before the CEO kissed her forehead with love. "I'd never leave you alone, even when death shall part us--you're always staying beside me until our last breaths."
Shizuki just blushed before Kazuya pecked her cheek sweetly while stroking her hair affectionately, he was making her embarrassed--but she still smiled because she knew about him being romantic once or twice. "Who knows we're dating each other since... feudal era? But in this 21st century... how long we're dating?" she asked while he wrapped his arms around her waist and her hands gently wrapped around his neck. "We dated like... does it count in modern era or...?" he murmured in amusement. Shizuki's rosy cheeks remained on her face, before she buried her face to his shoulder. "Let's just say we dated more than 400 years or until now," she replied. Kazuya was glad that this was what they'd shared together; love, trust, affection and how their relationship was special from the start until the rest of eternity.
Meanwhile, Kaname was in the amusement park with Yomi--it was noisy, but peaceful as they seated together in a white roundtable, enjoying the snack that they bought. "Don't worry about Shizuki and Kazuya, they can do their jobs by themselves," Kaname said with a grin, walking beside her and kissing her on the cheek. Yomi smiled with her eyes closed, even though she was once a priestess in the feudal era--now she became a career woman and guardian of the temple--while she retained her old power and Kaname also regained her serpent god's power back even when he reborn into a businessman in the modern era. "After our engagement, we got a residence... are you planning to be Mrs. Izayoi?" he asked.
Yomi's ears went red to hear that, as she puffed her cheeks as both of them heard the laughter when Shizuki and Kazuya were walking out of the mall. "Woah, let's peek on them," he said before they peeked on the couple that are busy talking; mostly Kazuya teasing her wife and the next is she was punching his arm playfully. "Honey, those are married couple things, you can't really do this when the mood is on," he teased, as Shizuki rolled her eyes in annoyance. "Most of the time... is you teased me a lot!" she argued, but Kazuya just tickling her making the wife whined.
Kaname snickered, before he pulled Yomi's wrist and took her to the restaurant with a view above the amusement park. "Come on, let's get something to eat in the third floor," he said, before she nodded without hesitation. "Why not have a dinner date tonight? Just when it's late at night," she suggested with a sheepish smile, which she earned a smirk from him. "Absolutely, but then again--love is about being generous to each other and what you said is too romantic," he added. The priestess with black hair giggled with a smile, before they sensed a certain figure appearing suddenly. "Alright... looks like we got some action."
Yomi nodded with a smile, manifesting her golden ceremonial staff with dangles and green Iridescent Pearl in the middle--before she slammed the staff down and electrocuted several yokais and some of them were paralyzed. Kaname activated his upgraded weapon which is his katana and creates an earthly spike out of nowhere to skewer their foes. 'Shizuki and the others will have a mission for sure, so don't just stay out here and wait,' Kaname thought, jumping over the railing before he transformed into the giant red serpent god with golden turquoise eyes along with iris-shaped markings. "Now then, come and show yourselves, you rat!" the serpent barked, unhinging its lower jaw--breathing a torrent of flames from his mouth with a blast of wind, seeing some yokai managed to dodge the attack.
"Ah... it's been a while, right?" Yomi asked with a gentle smile, before she bashed her staff into the yokai's back before another waves of electrical spark struck down towards them. "Sure, we got engaged for a long ago--so it counts now, doesn't it?" Kaname said, before he charged up his energy and shot the enemies like a sniper shot, slamming the hilt into the one last enemy as it coughed.
"So, are you guys sent by either of the demon's remnants? Hozuki, Yuzuki or the past demons or should I say--their former soldiers?"
Yomi asked, watching the injured enemy squirmed and yelled at them. "If I was Hozuki himself, I'd killed someone out of rage--but this is hopeless... without their former king and queen... but our queen was still out there, searching the truth and the remaining of our lord. Whether our battle hasn't ended or... is it still ongoing... even when the god sealed the power of them?" the injured yokai grumbled, seeing them raised their eyebrows in amusement. "By the way, is Yuzuki still alive? Then why there isn't a clue about her whereabouts," the red serpent hissed, staring at them in rage and suspicion. "You will... learn soon..." the yokai chuckled, before transforming into a smoke after death.
Kaname transformed into his human form, standing beside Yomi with an intent expression--everything about Yuzuki and Hozuki are not said a word about their location or remains. "Damn, we have to find them now... this won't end here," he muttered, before he glanced at her. "Yomi, should we call the others now or let's proceed to the final section before telling them after date?" he asked, hearing a confirmation nod from the priestess. "Great, let's go then," Kaname replied with a grin, seeing Yomi sighed in relief when they enter their new home after being engaged and decided to stay together. "I was thinking if we can have children, I-I mean... to a specific gender or sort of; but--" she stuttered.
Kaname puffed a laughter, leaning forward to kiss her cheek. "Of course, and it'll be fine with us--just what you prefer," he murmured as he wrapped his arms around her waist--a small warm smile could be seen as he snuggled his cheek against hers and held her close. "Heh, don't worry babe... come on, I bet the final boss can't stand a chance from you," he muttered, watching Yomi smiling faintly in the loving embrace from her fiancé. "Once this is over, we can start a family and grow up. I'll always protect them from harm's way, whether it is a yokai, a human--anything... and nothing will stop me from protecting you both," he said.
Meanwhile... Shizuki and Kazuya were peeking on them, and Kazuya began to make some embarrassing noises; causing Shizuki slap her forehead. "Kazuya..." Shizuki said, before his wife shook her head and punched him on the arm with a snicker and he slapped her back in return.
