Chapter Fifteen: Hikari no Michi

Chapter Fifteen: Hikari no Michi

Shinoe was in the temple when she visited the area, remembering how she used to meet Tamotsu when she was young during the feudal era. Now that he's reborn as a human (while his old powers retained), he met her in the temple where some people were praying and some are sightseeing. "Where's that kitsune...?" she muttered with a sigh, standing with her smooth purplish-black long hair tied in ponytail with a red and yellow ribbon, with her bangs falling behind her both ears and some over her purple-violet eyes while keeping her alabaster complexion. This time, she has smallest bit of red makeup on the corner of her eyes and wear a modern clothes (while keeping her hidden powers and her old clothes in the past as Tamayori-hime). She wears a white summer dress with black transparent shawl with small dots on it, dark blue stocking with black dress heels.

Tamotsu arrived at the temple as he went to kiss her forehead gently, with his hands on her temples. He has short white messy hair with long bangs almost covering his gold eyes and between his face--maintaining his pale complexion, his fox ears will appear along his nine tails if he morph into his true form. He wears a blue denim jacket over his white collared shirt, black pants and brown boots as he wears his black wristwatch. "Shinoe, I've been looking for you," he called her.

"Ah, finally--but you should've be aware that I've been waiting for you, silly," she replied, earning a sheepish laugh from him and his hand ruffling her soft hair. "So, where's Azusa?" he asked, but she clapped her hands--shaking her head. "We aren't sure where he's going, but I think he was meditating or something... even Takashi also having some fun out there," she said, ever since she got reborn--she married with Tamotsu who began to care deeply for her in their previous life to love each other.

Their love connection slowly built once more, perhaps they are fated to be in love despite how stubborn Tamotsu was; but always did the thing that would turn him to be a changed man in spite of his past. "So, you have another alter ego named Mikazuki?" she asked, feeling his arms wrapped around her waist gently while she heard him whispered her name and nodded softly. "Yeah, ever since we're reincarnated and learning to keep the balance is essential," he answered.

He felt the pain and the agony from his previous life, when Takashi called him--desperately asking for Tamotsu's assistance. But now, they have reunited even though their mission isn't over in the modern era. "I... I just wanted to fulfill my dream, is it wrong to fall in love with someone who wasn't immortal like you...? You may be Tamayori-Hime, but still... you can't fall in love with the god," he asked, which made Shinoe cupped his cheeks and kissed his lips. "Now that we're reborn... we've learned something new, Tamotsu, which is we should cherish the little time we had before changing in any circumstances," she answered, letting out a smile.

He listened carefully from her words and smiled with a tear streaming down from his golden eyes, now his feelings would be stronger this time--because he's human who held her dearly than ever before. He's strong without changing what he was meant to be, to stay himself and now he was being rewarded with this. "Shinoe, after we retrieve Hozuki's and Yuzuki's remains--we'll make sure our sacrifice will not be wasted. Let's just hope that we don't have to suffer again like before..." Tamotsu whispered.

"Also... we were married in the past, right? Now in this modern century... we're dating," Shinoe spoke in a warm tone, hearing the laugh from him as the sound of his husky laugh echoed through her eardrums before they leave the place together. His hands keep touching her face gently before both of them are happy that they're being blessed together this time. Then, they sensed a yokai attempted to attack them, Shinoe manifested her katana and slain the creature with ease--while Tamotsu blasted blue flames from the magical sphere that surround the target--making it died slowly.

"So... now there's no one would chase us, we're going to find out the truth," Tamotsu said, grabbing her hand and squeezed it in a comforting manner while walking together. They were on a date to hunt down the evil yokai and tonight was the best opportunity to get this, but they wondered--where exactly Hozuki's remnants stayed at? They remembered the promise they had; to make sure everything was saved and make their happiness. "Shinoe! Tamotsu!"

Shizuki called out for them, walking beside her husband Kazuya and holding his hand when Shinoe waved her handsat them. "It's good to see you both still making advances at each other, hm?" she added, making Tamotsu and Shinoe blushed when Kazuya covered his lips with his hand, chuckling. "Kazuya, what did you teach her this time?" Tamotsu asked, furrowing his eyebrow when the Mountain God shrugged at him, saying that he has no reason to intervene. "Relax, fox-boy. Just a small advice for my lovely princess, we need to have fun too," he explained, standing beside his wife's side. "So, anyone else joining?" Kazuya questioned.

"Sure, why not? It's been a while since we fought with each other... the two of you, make sure you do the heavy lifting," Shinoe huffed, rolling her eyes. "Hey... I'm just his companion like usual," Tamotsu retorted, crossing his arms and looking away while she tilted her head, she giggled lightly when Kazuya was wondering where is Tsubaki... until his brain begun to move. "Or perhaps, Tsubaki and Takashi are staying somewhere... hiding the remnants along with Azusa?" he stated. "Perhaps... but we don't know where they are," Shizuki explained, fiddling her hair when Yomi was being lost in thought when she remembered there is a shrine not far from here--it may be a mere shrine without their appearance yet they have to find clues about what is going on.

"The others aren't answering our message, so... we have no choice but investigate," Shinoe muttered as she grabbed Tamotsu's wrist gently, while he turned to her and smiled. "Haruka and Hayate are in Shibuya, Kaname and Yomi are in Shinjuku--so Kazuya and I were in Yokohama to find another yokai army of Hozuki and Yuzuki's..." Shizuki explained as they saw Yomi with a paper sheet to map the locations, starting the battle in the modern era will not be easy. While Yomi and Shizuki were discussing about searching the remnants and making sure they would not to cause havoc and hell for everyone, Kazuya approached Tamotsu and whispered. "How's Tsubaki, Azusa and Takashi?"

"No idea, we were waiting for news about if they're alive or not... hopefully, they'll return back like we did," Tamotsu said with a sigh, crossing his arms and looking at them. "Since the era no longer ruled by the Taiyou Palace, the people live in peace and happiness... protecting them must be easy for these three. So... we're dealing with Hozuki and Yuzuki with their army, it'll be our last battle for now," he added. Kazuya knew that Tamotsu loves Shinoe, he's a man who's protecting the woman that he loves dearly for the eternity--because he's no longer want to hear the sound of pain and suffering. "Right... we have to prevent another cycle of rebirth for these two to not getting killed, it's a fate that we cannot have. Besides, to tell you the truth... even with the power running in our veins, we're not entirely immortal. We've sacrificed ourselves many times--but the last time, you saved us..." he explained, which they nodded in understanding.

"How many days we have left before their awakening? Could be weeks, maybe days..." Shinoe asked, while Shizuki folded her arms. "We still have few months in one year, they're planning something big but... we have to take them down in any circumstance," she said, slowly--the memories of fighting and slaying them in their past life invaded her mind. Kazuya glared at her and knowing that he wasn't comfortable to see her sad, he gently rubbed her arm and with his caring gaze, it's enough to soothe her. 'I promised you... that everything will end well,' he thought to himself.

"So, what are we going to do now?" Yomi asked.

"Kazuya has a way, since he has brain and knowledge of understanding war strategies, why don't he use his brain cells and give us some advice?" Shinoe muttered, earning a smile from Shizuki. "Precisely, he did taught me a few things and some lessons... he's awfully amazing at being smart. Most of his knowledge coming from books, and that's his hobby to read," she answered as she decided to smile before her lips went curved. But unfortunately, her lover rolled his eyes and flicked her forehead before ruffling her brown hair. "I know that very much—but seriously, we have to think this through."

Few hours later...

Shizuki rested on the couch when Kazuya was in the kitchen, she watched a television since they were on weekends; the curtains are closed but she feels the same cold breeze. "Eh?" Shizuki called out, before turning to see her husband as he walked with a can of warm chocolate and pecked her forehead. "If your parents are alive, I would've show how much I love you--how we fought the warriors of evil and how I made sure to keep you alive. If we could..."

"... I'd ask them to have a blessing and our marriage..." she answered, toying the golden band ring on her finger as she drank the warm chocolate before she sat up and let him sit beside her. She can see her husband's gold ring, before she laid her head on his chest--she glanced over her smartphone to see if there's any upcoming news. "Kazuya, how do you feel now? Like... you moved on from Yuzuki, right? After all these years, I'm just wondering..." she asked.

Kazuya stared down at her, before he smirked. "Nah, in my eyes--she's already dead. Besides, in the past—we did fell in love but, after she betrayed me with her selfish desire to be with me... I don't love her," he said, before holding her wrist with a devilish smirk. "She's no match for my beloved Princess, as for my son Hozuki... I realized that he did mirrored my actions and made the wrong decisions to kill innocents. Only thing I can say is to be glad that you're stronger and stronger every day, despite our love--even with your human mother and father, we managed to defeat their army," he continued, staring down at the floor before sighing heavily. "I was not the same person in the past, I was once very proud and powerful--while I let the gods mocked me for falling in love with a shrine priestess like Yuzuki."

He explained, looking forward to the television. "When I broke free from my sealing state, because of you--being Yuzuki's reincarnation... I thought you're the same as Yuzuki when I treated you like that, until... I realized that you're completely different than her," he stated, caressing her silky hair before ruffling her hair slowly. Shizuki noticed him looked like he was nostalgic of the past, she leaned her head to his left shoulder before putting her phone on the desk. "You keep denying that you're Yuzuki but to tell you the truth, I cannot help but fell in love with you all over again. We fought together, protected the mortals with our combined power, even though your true self isn't shown--the time you were awaken as Half-Onikami warrior princess was the most happiness and contentment I've ever felt," Kazuya whispered, there was no more evil to plague the earth.

The balance has to be kept, to bring peace to the world that's still being ruled by a few gods. He was once very dominant and cold towards everyone that feared his presence and power--some people did not want the gods to be killed even after the war. He hated that most of all, he didn't feel welcome by the people who admired the gods--now because of his wife's words; he was determined to bring peace. "Shizuki, you're just a girl who want to be strong but will be there to listen about some people's problems and not expect for an answer, ready to learn by seeing and doing it; brave enough to admit your flaws and ask for help. That is what I admired the most about you, you helped everyone--including to reach the full potential of yourself," he said as he cupped her chin gently. Shizuki's face was blushing hotly, her heart racing out of emotions when her husband stared down at her lovingly and kissed her lips.

"See? You have nothing to hide, not scared of me at all," he teased, holding her hand gently--meeting her soft gaze. "How about Hozuki? Do you still care... or don't you wanna see him anymore?" Shizuki asked. Kazuya grinned while letting his finger brushed her lips, stopping her from saying anything more--before he whispered, with the smile on his face. "I no longer care what happened to him--he is on his own path; he has to bear the consequences of his actions. It doesn't matter, what the others think of me... that he is my son. But, perhaps I deserve it for neglecting him--even though I want to confront him... he really did wanting me to die, which..."

A sob escaped from his throat, before he hugged her while closing his eyes. Shizuki frowned before she patted his back gently, after a long moment of holding his tears back--it finally leaked out while they touched foreheads. He felt guilty, for even talking about his remorse and problems from Hozuki. But for Shizuki, she wants to give him some sympathy and love. "Hozuki never felt love from his mother, Yuzuki kept forgetting Hozuki is her own offspring from me--she should have given some comforting towards him, that she saw a child that needed her presence," he explained, recalling some part of the past until he no longer wants to think anymore.

"If she can't be a mother... then I'll take care of him and love him, he's innocent, unlike some people--they're all jealous of my power and they have no idea that... only because I hated humanity was the reason behind the cause of gods killing mortals, I realize my mistake and paid the price for my actions," Kazuya grumbled under his breath, knowing Hozuki loathed him and made an army to battle against his own father, trying to conquer the Taiyou Palace and the mortal realm. "Because of Yuzuki, and then my son... they were the final straw that broke the camel's back."

Shizuki listened carefully before smiling, wrapping her arms around his neck gently and her soft cherry blossom eyes staring back to his blue eyes. "Kazuya, you may be not a perfect man as you are now, but... you tried so hard to fix yourself and keep on going until now, through your mistakes; now you have me," she said, and a smile emerged onto his face again as he let out a small laugh. "Let's promise to make this work," Shizuki added, clasping their hands together, intertwining her fingers with Kazuya's ones. He nodded and swore, that he wouldn't abandon or let the chaos would rule the world once more. "Okay... sounds like an agreement. I'm going to hold you on that."

Before long, they relaxed and cuddled on the couch, nuzzling on each other and talking about some random stuff as time passed. "Are you tired?" she asked, with the exhausted tone--she didn't feel okay in the first place. He only grunted under his breath, letting his forehead touched hers, giving her a deep kiss on her rosy lips with his hands on her face. 'Azusa will likely appear during night time,' Shizuki thought as she felt the sparks coming through her chest; after a while of kissing, they touched their foreheads and Kazuya carried her bridal style, to their bedroom upstairs--which he locked the door.

Shizuki yelped when she fell down on the bed with him, seeing him sleeping after he rested his head on the pillow--before he chuckled deeply and rolled his eyes. "Funny thing is, this is a normal way for you," she muttered, punching his arm when he pinched her nose playfully. "No kidding, now how do you know that he is going to appear?" he asked, causing her to fiddled her hair. "How should I know? I can detect him if I'm using my power..." she muttered, taking out the scallop compact that has scarlet rogue and red Iridescent Pearl in it for lip balm. "This is my only way to unleash my Half-Onikami form when the battle get furious, this will help--but still it can be part of my makeup," she added, applying the lips that made Kazuya flattered her features and when she closed the compact--he lean down to kiss her passionately. His heartbeat was fasten when she blushed, after that his hand stroked her cheek lovingly and smiled in bliss. "Be careful..." he said.

"Why?" she asked.

"Who knows? We're dealing with monsters, those pathetic beings have powers and tricks that might harm you. So, you'll have to go on a solo mission for a while, I mean... you can defend yourself just like when you got your power back," he whispered, locking their lips once more. His hand slowly on her shoulder, knowing that it belonged to him--not to any creature. "H-Hey... my lip balm is smeared..." she spoke.

"I don't care, but it looks good on your lips... making them feel very soft," he teased, licking his lips and smirk. Shizuki realized that he did 'devour' the lip balm, before grabbing a pillow to smack his face playfully. They laughed lightly and relaxed on the bed, closing their eyes and sleep on their dreamland with a smile on their face--where nothing else matters more than protecting the peace of the world. The truth is, Shizuki never understood or knew where their happiness will last for now; their past self is the symbolism of two lovers being together... but broken with their different set of values and goals. Still, they fought side by side.

Then, they heard someone shouting from outside.

"Shizuki, Kazuya!"

Fuck, it was Kaname and Yomi--making them sat up from their bed in horror and before heading to change their clothes. "What?!" Kazuya snapped, opening the window to let the duo walked in to the living room. "Yuzuki's remnants had spotted us, we're going to fight now," he whispered as he felt the remnant's evil aura, before Shizuki huffed. "Well, time to go!" she declared, before four of them changed into their feudal forms.

Yomi kept her hime-style black long hair that reached beyond her back and framed her forehead- almost covering her eyes, she has a two ribbons that tied her hair bangs behind her ears and fell in front of her chest. Now she wears a white and pink kimono with sode-kukuri through the sleeves and open shoulder along green haori, with a long furisode that extends from her hands. The color of her kosode was white and purple-red, with her furisode decorated with a white, red, pink and green flower motifs. Also she wore a white tabi and pair of zori, the golden strings called muna-himo were attached to each lapel into four-petaled flowers and her red obi was tied in the front of keep the garment closed.

Kaname changed into his bright orange-amber eyes with glowing yellow pupils, wearing a red paint and black eyeliner on his eyelids. His blonde messy hair has uneven longer bangs, with light and dark shades into the end of his longer hair. The attire he wears is an elegant black long kimono with amber flower patterns and a golden sleeveless haori over it, high collars and has ceremonial purple monk garb, a black obi with gold borders and wrapped around his waist and his garb. Lastly his black boots with straps, also silver back heels aligned with the tips and the back.

Shizuki's dark chocolate long hair is tied in half-ponytail with small braids on some part of her hair with a white and purple ribbon with four light violet marble beads on the headdress, her bangs covered her dark cherry blossom eyes and her cheeks. She wears a new attire consists of black sleeveless turtleneck bodysuit underneath her white kimono with black borders and red four-petaled flower motifs, black long fingerless gloves and red obi with large bowtie-ribbon in the middle--she wears a white cloth-like shorts and black tights that covered by her maroon thigh-high strapped boots with heels.

And lastly, Kazuya's bluish black hair with several bangs falling below his eyes and was on the right side that fell and between his face, his hair was tied in tight-knot ponytail, leaving two parts of his hair fell behind his ears to below his chest. even his blue eyes Wearing a dark blue traditional courtier-like outer robe with white flower embroidery on his furisode, underneath was a white and light turquoise kimono robe with white hakama and furisode that decorated with light turquoise flower motifs. The two cloth on his both shoulders has scriptures connected by two connecting strings, with a small three turquoise gem-like marble beads that attached his robes and keep his garments closed, donned with a black Japanese long fingerless gloves on his both arms to his palms and upper hands, and his black tabi and black zori with silver tips.

"Finally... I don't need to change clothes, after all..." Shizuki muttered, summoning her katana as Yomi summoned her golden ceremonial staff as well with a smile. Kaname grinned when he was holding his katana, while Kazuya also holding his katana. "Let's go, Yuzuki's remnants are nearby at the nearby park," Kaname announced, both couples nodded and flew towards the direction, they have no time to waste--with the others surely have more areas to search for the remains of their hated enemy that destroyed the peace--in every era that lived. They encountered the remnants that took a form of black mist from each shadows, Yomi and Shizuki tried to defeat them as they avoided the blow from the wind pressure sent by the remnants. "We have to lure them outside," Yomi said, earning a nod from Kaname, Shizuki and Kazuya.

The mist trying to attack them back, only to be quickly deflecting back to the area they come from before disappearing. Suddenly, there is black mist that started to swarm around the trees as if something they're fearing emerged from their fear, darkness--they emitted a very terrified power-sucking aura. Shizuki closed her eyes, before she used her Half-Onikami power by tossing a red thunder-like strike with sparks of fire emerging from her blade.

Kazuya also helps her out, by firing some icy thunder blast from his hands towards Yuzuki's. One of the yokai army of the Hozuki's remains was summoned by the shadows, his face was very detailed like a real samurai but his skin was a fleshly grey while his irises was red and his sclera was pitch black as he wielded a large naginata spear. "He looks very dangerous than the normal Hozuki remains..." Yomi spoke, slamming the tip of her ceremonial staff that creates a green electrical strike in order to trap one of the remnants and pinned him on the tree. Kaname slashed his amber waves emitted from his katana, before he roared and fired the ball with fiery energies that strikes down one of the shadows, quickly dying.

As the ice spikes vanished from killing the army, Shizuki landed on the ground beside Kazuya, after they got their powers drained, leaving the last servant of the Hozuki remaining. "The remnants... what are they made of?" Shizuki asked. They got questions of the enemy, only the remains can be made from what? As they watched the dead remnants on the ground, Yomi purified them to prevent the cycle of rebirth for a while. Kaname still keep his katana, however he glanced at the sky that the sun has not emerged, yet--it was midnight. "Well, let's call it a day... tomorrow we have to find Azusa, Takashi and Tsubaki... even the rest of them."

"Right..."

Meanwhile, Munakata was seen in the shrine as she watched the novice shrine priestesses training and performed their Kagura dance--she pondered if the others are reborn in modern era. Saotome stood beside her when she was eyeing the field of the shrine, before she asked the Head Priestess. "Munakata-sama, do you think they're alive?" she asked, the latter remain silent as she smiled. "Sometimes I keep asking myself if what if they are in the heaven above the clouds... because then I'll surely see them--"

"Have faith in them, Saotome," she murmured, folding her arms. "Shizuki indeed can defeat an evil deity, she is the Half-Onikami warrior princess from her human father and Onikami mother... a miracle in form of two races combined. Also the god whose her love, the mountain god--helped her a lot. Then, there's Yomi--a renowned young shrine priestess who became friends with Shizuki and taken care of by the land god. Therefore, they're known as Kazuya's Party, also known as the Four Warriors Party."

"Hoo... a very long history I never knew about that," Saotome muttered, looking at the other women who prayed along with their kagura dance in front of the statue. "At least, we secured the last remaining of Iridescent Pearls--letting Shinoe, Shizuki and Yomi taken care of the rest of the three. For we can hide them and peace will continue... for years," the Head Priestess exclaimed, remembering how the night became uneventful after the remnants saw the humans and their sacred objects. "Munakata-sama!"

Shizuki greeted her as they were in their normal civilian forms, before running toward the aged woman with her friends. Kazuya remained smug as ever and Kaname was hiding his snickers, Yomi kept her gentle smile with her eyes closed. But still, Munakata still pissed at Kazuya's face. "Well, if it isn't the Princess and her lover, along with their loyal partners..." she greeted back as they kneel in respect, to pay their respect to her. "Munakata Juri, Saotome Renjou... you haven't changed in a bit," Kazuya remarked, noticing the priestesses and remembering his life--in case if they were about to encounter some high level beings like him. He may look attractive and alluring, but still inside--his feeling was like a tsunami, nothing inside that just made him crumble down. No.

He's not.

"Enough with those idle small talk, Dragon god," Munakata scolded, crossing her arms before she turned around. "The place was guarded and there won't be any evil being will try to find our location anymore," she said, before she looked at them. 'Does she know that Hozuki...?' Shizuki thought as she clenched her teeth tightly, feeling the shivering sense of cold pain rushed inside her veins. Although Kaname sensed something within her, he wants to ignore or to not see what exactly was causing this pain. "Still... the battle won't end just by talking," Shizuki whispered, rolling her eyes. Kazuya was smiling with a faint chuckle when he ruffled her hair lightly, hearing her shouts with a bitter pout. "You have to be careful, dear. Even your power and status has fulfilled its part--you have to stay at peace first. Yuzuki's remnants are corrupted so does Hozuki's remnants, they were consumed with hatred and jealousy... such greed for more power," Saotome said.

Munakata agreed, unfolding her arms. "Yuzuki's case is severe, as much we want to sympathize with her--she fell to the trap and willingly helping Hozuki to destroy mankind. She gave birth to the monstrous son and what would be the reward; was to see him wanting her dead," she continued, glaring at the field. "She sent a message before she disappeared: 'I shall roam the shadow of this world and watch closely when all of you will die—when the chaos and war ended, I will return and drag you to hell with me. Because without me, all of you would've died in shame', it was a threat that even gods would stay out of their path if they were very frightened of her madness."

Shizuki felt her heart sank, before she frowned. 'Then... that's why Yuzuki lured me in before our death, because she is connected to the same evil of Hozuki's greed... the only way to tame them is...' she thought, before her husband came and hold her hand gently. "Don't worry, we have until... about weeks before Hozuki and Yuzuki's remnants will awaken," Yomi reassured, clutching her chest. "No need to worry, I can sense Shizuki has a power of her own as Half-Onikami princess from her maternal lineage. This lineage made Yuzuki unable to take over her body, because her evil blood cannot fully corrupted her body to be claimed by dark forces. Therefore, she is immune to her threats and negativity," he explained, scratching his head.

"Correct, for now—you have to have trust in each others. It's best to take a break and enjoy the remainder of your days, you all have done a great service for the world and should thank for that," Saotome said, earning a smile from the four of them. Shizuki was confident and the others are more relaxed now that the evil beings have found and purified the remnants before they either go to heaven or hell. "Haaaah, I'm glad that it's peaceful for now... we have to make sure though we did a great job," Kaname said, stretching his arms before smirking. "I can't wait to unleash my power again," he added.

Yomi smiled brightly as well, thinking the memories of his battles--beside her fiancé Kaname. 'Someday, hopefully we can put the cycle of rebirth to an end and get rid of all malicious forces... I don't want any innocent lives or children become victim of their plan,' she thought, feeling the wind blowing the cherry blossoms petals under the sunlight. "Before all of you go--remember that hatred can be overcome with love, fight to overcome fear with kindness and use powers for protection, not only to damage things. Trust your power, you're not weak but we're the true warriors," Munakata's speech touched them deeply, knowing the reason behind their fighting and causes of reasons.

"Shizuki Kasuga, with the Half-Onikami power you have... you have a maternal love in your heart to heal the pain inflicted on others," she admitted, holding her shoulder. "You have something that Yuzuki never has, a genuine and maternal love. You have many duties that people have and will come in time, let your late-parents be proud as you... a daughter- no, the future heiress of Kasuga Clan," she said, her aura is bright like sunrays when Kazuya smiled at her.

"Yomi Fujiwara, your kindness never fades and will save lives when you faced the darkest trials, though with the right strength—your soul can defeat the evil lurking beneath your enemies. However, your gentle demeanor is what your land god protected along with Kaname Izayoi's guidance and love," Saotome encouraged as she watched her nodded with a smile, then Munakata spoke again. "Kazuya Amamiya, you may be an arrogant and prideful Dragon god who tried to destroy the peace--yet, when you find the person that you love, you want to live for the sake of that woman alone, not to hurt her. Your desire to keep them alive is what can defeat the enemies, you have loyal army that helped you in your battle.

"Kaname Izayoi... your fierce and loyalty made you protect Yomi Fujiwara's life until the very end. We know that you still has feelings towards Yomi, protect and treasure her most dearly," Saotome exclaimed, making them blushed at the same time. They don't seem like talking about their relationship of love, which was common for them who will protect their beloved by fighting for them. 'Munakata...' Shizuki thought, as the woman patted her shoulder.

"Follow their noble hearts, maybe you can find your answers," she stated. The four of them glanced at each other, after they gave thanks--to the two young women. "Do you have maternal love, Shizuki?" Yomi asked with a smile, seeing her best friend nodded. "Yeah, even though my parents like died long time ago... I don't know if it's affecting the modern era or not during our rebirth--my mom taught me a lot of things that I rarely know," she said, which earned a cheerful laugh from Yomi.

"Kaname and I are going to visit Japan's greatest shrine, let's go!" the shrine priestess said, grabbing his arm and leaving. "See you guys for tomorrow!" Shizuki shouted, before Kazuya waved at them and he wrap his arm around his wife's shoulders. "Come on, let's go home," he said with a smile, which she nodded and walked beside him together.
