Chapter Five: Mizu no Ryu

"Shizuki, come here!"

Kazuya demanded while he's in the training room, she was cleaning the blade of her katana with her handkerchief inside the training room, sitting at the porch not far from where he was. "Okay!"

Shizuki responded while standing up and placed her katana on her left hip. Shizuki asked him with folding her arms, it was still morning that she was preparing in case something happened.

"What is it?"

The Dragon hummed while waiting for the anticipation, until a smirk came to appear on his lips. "I'm just making sure if you're ready. As for today, our second lesson is combat."

Shizuki nodded in anticipated, looking serious as usual. Her cheeks flushed in red in almost distracted look on her face, but she shake her head and prepared her fighting stance. "I'm all ears then," she nodded with determined gaze. "Good, in order to keep your strength tight, combat is one of the important elements in the battle. I must admit that I'm not an instructor, but instead a trainer to you. I will do the same thing for you, if you want to do easy or hard."

Really? She tilted her head, but she prepared her fighting stance in front of him.

Shizuki charged towards him and lunges her fist towards him, he moved aside then holding her wrist and twisted behind her back. It makes her hissed in pain, but he gently loosened it because he doesn't want to hurt her, "Does that hurt?" he asked, worried that she'll be in pain if he get too hard on her.

Shizuki shake her head while didn't matter if it's painful or not, she was rehearsed when it comes to combat training. "Not yet," she elbowed him on his abdomen, which made him backed away and let go of her. Kazuya rubbed his abdomen gently, he lift up his gaze at her with a growl. "That's part of your defense?"

"You talked too much."

Shizuki mumbled while crossing her arms while glancing at the riverbank from the training room, there's some stones to pass by to the Kasuga Village. "Perhaps we can train in there… only if you want," Kazuya lifted his eyebrows, curious of what she's talking about, following the directions of where she's looking at…

Few minutes later...

Shizuki realized she made a terrible mistake, being mocked for slipping on top of the flat stone many times was horrible. That was her choice, forgetting the fact he's a water dragon. "What's the matter, my love?" the Dragon smirked arrogantly while resting his hands on his hips, seeing her on trying to stand up on the flat stone in front of him in struggle. "Did you enjoy the water show? You're the one who choose this training area; my favorite."

Kazuya was enjoying this so much, at least it would satisfy him a little bit. The warrior princess watched him bending the water with his hand. "I don't think so, not quite a bit," she grunts slightly, standing up while almost drenched in water and slowing her movements. "At least I did satisfy you, Kazuya."

"Serve you right."

The Dragon lend out his hand towards her and in return she held his hand, seeing his tied black hair swayed by the morning wind. Shizuki was pulled into his embrace and it made her face reddened, his chest vibrating as she could feel his warmth as she cursed herself for not focusing much. "Having a fun time with your girlfriend?"

Kazuya knitted his eyebrows when he saw Kaname sitting on the edge, seeing him whistled at him. Kaname sometimes teasing him excessively, he pay no mind when he respect his will but not when at time like this. "Why are you here?"

"I'm just bored~" he shrugged his shoulders. "What are you doing?"

Shizuki glared at him, annoyed that he came to interrupt their moment. Kaname sighed when he glanced at them, looking down while eyeing the river flowing across him. "I was looking for that kappa, I need information about the remnants of another Iridecent Pearl."

"Kappa?"

"There's another Iridecent Pearl?"

Both questioned him at the same time, making him had to answer, yet thinking was too hard for him to answer both questions. "Yes, that damn creature living in the water and the Iridecent Pearl? There's not only one but there's seven of them," he explained, looking at both of them, "It is also used to seal the immortals and gods."

Shizuki was familiar with that pearl, since she was going to search that because of her mother. "Tsk, looks like you need a help, fine I'll help you," he glanced at Shizuki for a while, kissing her forehead before smiling at her. "I'll be back in a minute, can you wait?"

"Right, I'll be in the village... let me know about the Iridecent Pearl."

"I will."

Both of them jumped off from the flat stone; Kazuya went to follow Kaname and Shizuki was going to visit Yomi, who was busy with chores in the shrine from the village. Perhaps she can help her doing her chores, so she took an approach. "Yomi!" she waved while running towards her in the shrine. Yomi turn around to see Shizuki approach her, she smiled happily as she asked her. "Shizuki, what are you doing here?"

"I came here to visit you, are you doing chores?"

"Yes, I wouldn't mind for you to help."

"Okay, count on me!"

Shizuki's task was to clean the insides of the shrine, it was belonged to the god of creation and rebirth-he was sealed by Yuzuki-making him the other victim of her sealing curse, it seems as though she feel bad for these gods. They didn't do anything wrong, they did not deserve this, she didn't like seeing them like this. "Hotaru Yuzuki…"

Shizuki frowned, seeing the blessings in front of the large bell, yet there's no answer from the god. Shizuki sighed deeply, her dark cherry-blossom eyes staring at the bell, when will she able to set them free? Shizuki wished she wasn't being mistaken as Yuzuki since she isn't her, but they had slight similarities.

Yomi came inside with a broom on her hands listening to her words, she knew her actions are unacceptable to both kinds. "Yuzuki's actions are unforgivable for them and all of the gods are wrathful because of her," she spoke while looking at her. "I tried to understand why'd she had done this, but her reason was inexcusable," she clenched the broom, smiling sadly. "Kaname-sama was upset because of her… but he's glad that you released him, he must be thankful of you."

Shizuki turn around to face her, seeing her smile at her, as if nothing happened to her, "It seems like you had the ability to reverse the sea. If you wondering where Azusa-kun was; he's in the East Mountain sealed away by Yuzuki," she sighed sadly, looking at the bell when Shizuki went over to stand beside her, before they walked out from the shrine. "The problem is that Munakata-sama told me about Kazuya."

"Huh? What was that?"

"Something related to Kazuya's wrath and Yuzuki's final demand…"

Yomi wasn't sure what was the Head Priestess talking about but she feared that his wrath will unleash anytime, probably because of Yuzuki's previous demand. Shizuki was concerned about this topic, it was never been right to unleash his wrath. "Yuzuki has passed right? What do you mean?" she tried to confirm whether it's true or not, she seems to be nervous about this case. Munakata would have been glad that the Dragon was free, or did something happened?

Shizuki heard her sigh escaped from her lips, looking back at her when they were in the outdoor of the shrine. "Yesterday- Munakata informed me she had a dream of Yuzuki visiting her, demanding her to seal the Dragon and this wasn't just me involved; she wants you to be involved too."

"What?!"

Shizuki was speechless until she saw Kazuya and Kaname walking back at them, prompting them to go back to the Headquarters to rest. The water dragon god told her about the Iridecent Pearl that Kaname told him, making her learned the existence of them was real. However on the other side, Yomi told everything to the land god about the dream she had that made him shocked.

"What did you say?"

Kaname scowled at Yomi, while he was in the garden with Yomi while waiting for Shizuki to woke up. "Munakata told you and Shizuki a message to seal Kazuya?"she nodded at her with looking down at her feet, didn't look up at the Dragon god, "I'm worried that Shizuki-kun will unleash his wrath once he found out. I don't want that to happen to her nor even Kazuya-sama, I hope Shizuki won't do what she says."

The earth Dragon clenched his fists for a moment, he was worried that this going to happen and Munakata shouldn't have said that to her. "Shizuki is not a priestess, her ability is not similar as Yuzuki. But there's a differences between them!"

He stated in his sharp tone of his voice, "Juri.. that woman got some nerves. I know she don't like him so much and that's why she wanted someone to make them their bride to him."

"I know… should we do something with this?"

"It's the best thing you should do to her, I'll make sure that if my partner's wrath awakened, I'll be the one who stop him."

"Thank you Kaname-sama."

Kaname smiled down at her, then he heard Kazuya called him. "Murasaki! Are you going or not?!"

"I'll be on my way!"

Kaname shouted back, then he glanced at Yomi. "Don't worry, just in case if he's angry, you can't fight against him. I'll be the one and I think Shizuki could stop him, are you okay with that?"

"Yes, take care on your training with Kazuya-sama."

***

Shizuki shivered when she explained what happened once the Dragon left for a temporary time, until Kazuya found out what's going on behind the closed doors. Yomi glanced at him as she couldn't look at him, completely silent when he appears. "Munakata told both of you, to seal me once again?" his sight turns to Shizuki, his eyes turned bluish with sharp pupils as his wrath has unleashed and out of control, as if he was going to strangle her.

Yomi slowly stood up as Shizuki still sitting down in silent, couldn't speak a word and she want to say that she didn't want to seal him. There was a misunderstandings came out between them, making him thinking that "Kazuya, it's not what you think, Shizuki didn't want to-"

"Shut up!"

Kazuya charges towards Shizuki as he pinned her to the floor, grasping onto her neck a bit hard. Yomi couldn't stop them because if she intervene-she knew that Kazuya is that person she can't against of.

Shizuki gripped onto his wrist, attempting to let go of his grasp. "K-Kazuya… I-I never said I want to.. seal you…" her hand has a red energy flowing like an aura, causing the energy to burn on his skin. His eyes widened at the sight of it, she shouted at him despite trying to speak. "I never said I want to seal you! It was Munakata who told me and I didn't agree to it! Yuzuki told her in her dream!"

"Really?"

Kazuya let go of her neck as he stood away from her, then he glanced at Yomi, to which she will nod at his words. "Tell Munakata and Yuzuki that this message from me, sealing me is useless. My bride is a warrior princess, not a priestess, she don't know how to seal immortals," he smirked, his eyes were glowing blue. "How dare she, thinking that I can be sealed easily!"

Kazuya glared down at Shizuki, "I won't kill you this time, just because you're the one who unsealed me doesn't mean you're live so easily. How about that, Shizuki Himura?" his glare turned into his composed and soft stare, he knew he can't kill her just yet if she against it. "Just remember, I'll stop you once I'm ready this time."

Shizuki coughed when he turns to left the room with his heavy footsteps, Yomi kneeled down beside her and helped her to sat up. The fact that makes her upset at the fact he found out the truth, though it was misunderstanding. "I didn't mean to make him angry but… he won't be angry if I didn't bring this up at first place.."she explained in frustation. "Kazuya's gonna kill me soon, how am I supposed to stop him?!"

Yomi frowned slightly, "I will help you this time, in order to stop him. You need to bind a spell to stop his wrath and calm him down, follow me,"she nodded while Yomi stepped out quietly from the room with Shizuki following, leaving Kaname into handling Kazuya on his own. During the night that Shizuki followed her to the top cave of the East Mountain, it was dark that she carried a torch to light the way.

"The East Mountain known to have kept a sacred weapons and staffs that the High Priest and High Priestess hide, only the High Priest and I know where it belongs,"she explained.

"From now on, you can trust me."

Shizuki nodded, stepping up to the cave through the stone stairs, it was a bit tiring but she get used to things like these. Once they got arrived at the café, Yomi entered the cave with leading the way with the torch, Shizuki look around as the cold temperature risen, it makes the chill down her spine. "It's so cold in here.."

Yomi stopped in front of the cell door as she slide it open, entered inside and grabbed the black, white and red marble bracelet from the shelf, with golden strings. It's like a praying beads and a talisman, she smiled at her as she approached her and handed the talisman-like bracelet to her, "Here, it'll activate your ability."

Shizuki received the bracelet and putting it on her right wrist, "Thank you, Yomi,"she smiled at her then faced the outside of the cave, she glanced back at her friend.

"What should we do now?"

"You have to get Kazuya-sama, he must be fighting with Kaname-sama," Yomi turned around then glanced at her, warning her immediately. "I will inform the High Priest right away, you should go and catch up with them. Also, pour your katana with the sacred water, it'll increase the strength of your energy and you will able to stop him, trust me-from my experience-you need to be careful."

Shizuki nodded, she wasn't afraid and appears to be very bold, "I'll try to stop him with my efforts, don't worry Yomi!"she smiled at her confidently, "I will tell him that I'm not doing what Munakata told me."

"Thank you Shizuki, now go."

"Right!"

Shizuki ran out from the cave while Yomi was inside, who will coming out after her, she was running up to the top of the mountain where the shrine was. What she sensed was the Dragon growling loudly, it was Kazuya! Her eyes widened in horror to see his Dragon form has presented, Kazuya's water element was dominant to other creatures he encountered with. "What the…"she quickly heading towards inside the shrine, where she will pour her katana with the sacred holy water.

While she was about to grabbed the bucket of sacred water and poured the water on her katana, she heard one of them screamed. It was loud to be heard, everything inside the shrine began to cold and has likely freezing like ice. "What's this?!" she felt her body grew cold as she felt the sacred water becoming frozen, she took her katana away from the frozen water in the bucket.

Her katana was glowing in red with the lights around the katana and she was surprised at this change, it was her first time doing this. "Kugetsu…" she glanced at the outdoor shrine that has a rain and snow mixed. "Here I go.."

Kaname landed on the ground in front of the shrine, with his back facing Shizuki, her eyes widened at him. "K-Kaname!"

"I'll handle this!"

Kaname concentrate on his transformation with purple flower petals around him, all gathering in circle around his human form. His dark brown eyes turned into amber-yellow eyes with sharp dragon pupils, the waves of amber and soil surrounds him and a pair of horns appeared-similar to the mystical creatures' horns. Transforming into his serpent dragon form, the scales and the skin appears to be brown and amber with golden accents; his brown and amber dragon horns are shining brightly.

Shizuki was astonished after seeing him transformed but that's not the time to be distracted. Once she closed her eyes while holding the handle of her unsheathed katana, letting Kaname handled Kazuya by himself. "Kazuya! Stop this instant!" The land god shouted through his human voice but he lunges back his words, he sounded wrathful from how he sounded.

"I don't need to hear from the full mouth of yours!"

The water dragon began to lunges himself and wrapped around his body, he could feel the coldness from his frosting scales. It burns against his scales, it makes her unable to contain her worries over Kazuya and Kaname, it was painful to see them fighting without remorse.

"Enough!"

The story has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation.

Shizuki shouted as her eyes opened and gazing at both of the Dragon, it makes her grew angrier and braver than before. "Kazuya! I never said I would seal you away again!"she shouted as she stepped out from the shrine, as she was encountered herself with the snow and ice creatures from the ground and charges towards her, it was cold as she scowled angrily.

Everything beyond her way was melting and the creatures, one creature began to charges towards her as she sliced the creature horizontally. She did the same with the other creatures who tried to kill her.

Kazuya scowled over her until his bluish eyes widened at the sight of her doings, melting off his snow and ice creatures. The water creature could see the tears from the corner of her eyes, it reminds him of Yuzuki who assassinated a yokai in front of his eyes, his wrath uncontrolled that he released Kaname from his grasp, causing him to charged towards her and leaving him injured. "Shut your mouth!"

Shizuki swung her sword vertically towards him and it makes his Dragon hand got cut on its scales, yet it was a warm slice but still hurting his scale of his skin. It upset him so much, and both of them suffering against each other. "Just stop already! Munakata told us to do it, despite her unwillingness of Yuzuki's demand. We didn't want to do that! I don't want to kill you!" she confessed the truth. "I never wanted to do that!"

Kazuya's eyes widened at her confession but he didn't want to being affected by human's emotions so he gripped onto her form, Shizuki flinched at his grasp, the burning sensation touched through his claws. The dragon flinched once he let go of her, growling angrily. "Please stop this…"

Shizuki began to step towards him with her red aura around her form, a red orb of lights also surrounding her. The bracelet also shining in red and orange color, she began to leaned her forehead towards his scaled neck of the Dragon. The coldness was painful, but she could feel it fading in slow movements.

"Kazuya… I'm sorry…"

Shizuki mumbled in apology and Kazuya was silent for a while, not expecting her to confess the truth. The freezing wind surrounds him when he transformed into his human form in his usual hairstyle and attire, seeing her leaning her forehead on his chest and was afraid of him. "Why…?" Shizuki gritted her teeth, not wanting to look at him as if she hated herself for letting this happened. "Do I really have to tell you?"

Kazuya narrowed his eyes when he asked her that, she began to gripped her hands onto both of his sleeves. "You don't want to seal me?" he mumbled at her to which she shake her head in response, making his eyes narrowed by her wordless response. Shizuki was never meant to do that, Munakata forced her because she was haunted by Yuzuki's death. She was terrified of Kazuya being sealed away, knowing that it'll kill him slowly and painfully.

Shizuki began to stare at his eyes, hoping that he can understand what she wanted to say. It made her scared that he might not going to forgive her, she look away for a moment--feared that he would hate her. "I'm sorry.."

Kazuya frowned and stared at her, his face was filled with anger as he shook his head. "No! I never meant to be your enemy," he said, before he hold her shoulders and made her look up at him. "Shizuki... is it true you didn't want to seal me away?" Shizuki heard him as she shake her head. "No... Munakata forced me... because she was haunted by Yuzuki... and I..." she felt tears started to fell from her eyes, "Why... why do I have to suffer this much? I... I... I don't want to see you hurt..."

Kazuya eyes widened at her words, he held her face with his hands, making her flinch. He realized that she was actually different from that deceased priestess Yuzuki--his former lover who betrayed her never show any remorse when she does that--but Shizuki... she suffered a lot... she didn't want to do something she disagreed with. "Shizuki... I'm sorry... I never meant to hurt you... I never meant to... but..."

Shizuki couldn't say anything back, she felt so ashamed of herself for being the one who caused Kazuya to suffer. "I'm sorry... Kazuya... I'm sorry..." she covered her face with her hands, "I love you... I really love you so much... I don't want to make you like this... I never had intention to do that..." Kazuya listened to her with a frown, before he pulled her into his arms and embraced her tightly.

Shizuki began to sob silently, she felt his body heat around her. She wanted to stop crying but her tears just keep falling down her cheeks, she tried to stop her tears but she can't. As she hugged him back with her fingers clenched into the fabric of his dark blue outer robe of his clothing, she still sobbing. "I'm sorry..."

Kazuya stared at her, his hands were caressing her hair and stroking it gently. "I forgive you," he whispered to her ear sincerely, he let go of her shoulders and let her go, he made her stand up. "I love you, Shizuki... I always will."

Shizuki smiled softly, wiping away her tears and turned to face him. "I love you too... Kazuya..." she smiled, she hugged him again with her arms around his neck, making him hug her back.

The High Priest arrived at the scene as the snow has melted even the rain stopped, the only thing left was a mess in the mountains. "What happened here?" Yomi explains what's going on to the High Priest and Kaname stood beside her, letting Kazuya and Shizuki have their emotional moment.

***

The morning has come that Shizuki was sleeping beside Kazuya, the sunlight passing through the window that made the Dragon wake up. They were wearing their home kimono, the similar one they wore when they're sleeping. Shizuki grunts as the sunlight passed the window to their sleeping forms, Kazuya slowly open his eyes that his brown eyes staring at her sleepily, who had gotten awake. "Shizuki…" he mumbled her name. Shizuki rolled her eyes while still half-asleep, tired from yesterday. "Kazuya, you're awake already?"

Kazuya reached out his hand to stroke her hair, his black bangs almost covering both of his eyes and both long bangs fell on the mattress. "How's your sleep? Did you dream about me?" he joked while smirking at her, teasing her. Shizuki closed her eyes as she shrugged, her eyes opened to look at him. "I think so…" she mumbled while snuggled closer to him. Kazuya wrapped his arms around her by pulling her closer to him, resting his chin on top of her head. Shizuki hugged him back that she could feel his warmth engulfing her, he's so warm when he's like this…

"Kazuya..." Shizuki looked up at him, he was smiling down at her. "Why are you smiling?"

"Because I'm happy," he whispered to her, kissing her forehead. She smiled happily as she rested her head against his chest. "Did you dream about me too?"

Shizuki nodded at his question. "Yes..." she answered, her voice was soft and gentle. "Do you want to stay like this a bit longer?" Kazuya asked her, Shizuki yawned sleepily while not letting go of him yet, not really looking up at him saying. "I don't mind at all... but we need to get ready soon..."

Kazuya chuckled lightly as he held her body tighter. "You're right," he kissed her forehead and pulled her close to him. "Let's take a bath first."

They took their baths and changing into their main attires, Kazuya tied back his hair into tight-knot high ponytail with a white ribbon he usually wore. Leaving his bangs retains the similar style, Shizuki also tied back her hair into her usual hairstyle, with her bangs in the usual style she kept. Shizuki turn around before she look up at him and tried to reaching up on him, attempting to tip-toed since he's extremely taller than her. Of course, she had forgotten that he's taller than her.

Kazuya was confused at first of her little action to him, until he figured out why that he smirked at her. The mountain god leaned towards her and pinned her to the wall before kissing her on the lips, he pulled away a little saying with a smirk. "You're so cute when you're like this, I'll do anything for you and it's my goal," he whispered to her.

Shizuki blushed lightly and looked away from him, her face was bright red. "What's your goal?" she asked him, her voice was shaky.

"To make you mine," he smirked.

Shizuki bit her lower lip as she nodded, a light blush touched her cheeks. "I don't mind at all..." she mumbled, a shy smile formed on her face.

Kazuya grinned and hugged her tightly, making her face flush even more.

Both of them went to the garden of the Headquarters, where Yomi and Kaname had their own moments from afar, the cherry blossom petals falling from its own tree. Both of them stopped in front of the tree, Kazuya touched the cherry blossom on the branch, since he's quite tall but not as the cherry blossom tree. "It's beautiful, isn't it?" Shizuki stared at the cherry blossom petals falling, then to the flower that he held with his hand near him. "Yes... it is..." she replied to him.

Kazuya smiled at her, he began to touch the petals and he made her do the same. "Did you ever touched a flower before?"Shizuki heard his question, before she nodded. "I did when I was young, my mother taught me how to do that."

Kazuya's eyes widened, he knew that Shizuki didn't have much time with her mother. He looked up at her and said, “Your mother must be really beautiful too, if you had a chance to meet her," Shizuki knew her parents passed away long time ago when she was young, so she really never got a chance to see them. She nodded at his words, looking down at the ground. "I hope I can see them again someday..." she muttered sadly.

Kazuya stared at her, his hands were stroking the petals gently. As he plucked one of the flowers to which he held the cherry blossom on his palm, he came up to her and stood in front of her. Shizuki open her eyes as she could feel his fingers brushed against her bangs beside her cheek, it feels like he was putting something behind her ear. Reaching out her hand to feel what it was-a cherry blossom behind her ear, her cheeks reddened in surprise. "What is this?"

Kazuya smirked at her, he bent down and kissed her on the lips. "This is a gift from me," he whispered to her, he let go of the cherry blossom and held her chin. "You're so beautiful with that flower behind your ear." Kazuya spoke in a soft voice. Shizuki looked up at him with her red cheeks, narrowing her eyes in embarrassment that she responded. "T-Thank you…" Kazuya titled his head aside slightly, smiling gently that is unusual for him. "Your welcome, beautiful."

'What is this feeling?' Shizuki thought as she doesn't understand that she feels a bit strange, but she couldn't deny it, this feeling began to grow more. "Kazuya, stop teasing me…" she find herself beautiful but not to anyone, she considered herself confident with her strength and appearance in reality.

Kazuya placed his fingers under her chin and lifting up to face him, Shizuki feels so bashful that she tried to avoid eye contact with him--she never being in this situation before--let alone being single until he met Kazuya. "Kazuya… why are you like this? Are you okay?" she watched him narrowed his eyes softly in wistful gaze, admiring her from this view. "My apologies, I couldn't hold it back anymore by seeing you like this, a flower behind your ear under the moonlight… I can't control myself from seeing you like this."

Shizuki stared at him, her eyes widened. "Y-You mean…" she mumbled before he kissed her on the lips again, she was shocked by his sudden action. He pulled away a little, smirking at her. "My apologies… but, I'm not okay.

Kazuya leaned down to kiss her on her lips once again, making her flustered once more, she kissed him back with her eyes closed slowly. The breeze began to passing both of them, leaving their tied hair swayed gently with their bangs. The wind passed their fabric of their attires and the flower had been blown away from her ear just a minute away, they pulled away from the kiss and she rested her forehead on his shoulder--feeling his arms engulfing her. Shizuki kept her arms around him, her cheeks were reddened as she didn't think she would have fell for an immortal like him.

"I love you, Shizuki," he whispered to her. "I want to be with you forever."

Shizuki trembled at his words, her heart beat so fast that she couldn't even speak. It made her cheeks redder than ever. "Kazuya, I..." she found herself lost for words.

"You don't need to say anything," he whispered to her. "I know how you feel about me, you already loved me from the beginning, you're always looking at me when we're together."

Shizuki bit her lower lip as she nodded, her eyes closed tightly. "Yes, I did…" she mumbled to him. She opened her eyes and looked at him, their faces were inches apart. "But... I love you too, Kazuya..." she spoke out her feelings. "I never thought that I would fall for someone like you, someone who is so strong, handsome and smart, someone who's kind and gentle, someone who's so warm and loving, someone who's so caring... even if you're an immortal god. I still love you."

Kazuya smiled gently at her, his fingers stroked her cheek. "You're the one who has the most beautiful heart in this world, Shizuki," he whispered to her. "I'll always love you from the bottom of my heart, no matter what happens."

Shizuki felt her heart melted at his words, her face was glowing red. "Kazuya..." she whispered to him, her hands held his chest. "I want to be with you forever too..." she confessed to him. "Please, stay by my side for eternity..."

Kazuya nodded, keeping his arms around her. "I'll do anything for you, Shizuki... anything for you..."

Kazuya sensed someone was coming towards them from afar, he let go of her waist that Shizuki looked at him with stern. "What's the matter?" she look around while holding onto her katana, he look around before he could spoke out, holding onto the handle of his katana. "I feel like someone coming towards us, it's not one of us but…" he clicked his tongue at her, looking at the figure.

"Shizuki."

Shizuki nodded as she stepped forward and stood beside him, there was a figure in white cape and hood, it's not the crow god-but instead. Someone that reminds her of Kazuya, the figure approached them in front of them, his dark bluish hair bangs flowed from his hidden face, it makes her eyes widened at its presence. His facial looks was similar to Kazuya. "Wait, he looks like you Kazuya…"

Kazuya's eyes turned blue when he's completely angry, the figure could be seen openin his mouth to speak. "At last, I found you…" the man could be seen grinning evilly and he turned to look at Shizuki, it reminds him of his mother who had died long time ago. "You looks like her…"

"Her?"

Shizuki went confused when he referred something to her, she scowled while shouting at him. "Who are you, what do you want?!"

The figure unveiled his hood and revealed to be a handsome young man with a dark bluish hair, a pair of dark crystal blue eyes and alabaster complexion. His bangs were almost like Kazuya's hairstyle, and his eyes are like either Shizuki or Yuzuki. "Looks like I have found both of you, but… why does it has to be her?" he asked while facing Shizuki, "… I have been forgiven, right?"

The man felt a cold feeling around him and it came from Kazuya himself who angered over the fact that the man who seems to be similar. He didn't know why he called him that until he figured it out, that doesn't look too good. "…I didn't know this is going to happen… why aren't you my father…?"

Shizuki avert her eyes and then she questions the figure, interrogating him. "Can you tell us who you are? If you don't really mind."

The young man didn't introduce himself and was completely similar almost to Yuzuki and Kazuya, it was surprising that he appeared before he turns to disappear by turning away from them. "I don't need to answer your question..." he mumbled, gazing at her for a moment. "I know you weren't her but… you're young and beautiful, Yuzuki... or mother."

Shizuki clenched her fists, she was tired of being mistaken as Yuzuki several times--especially when that priestess has died long time ago... she thought Yuzuki died with the child--and he was here? Kazuya snapped at the mysterious man. "I dare you not to say her name once again," he spoke in a low voice. "Who is he?" Shizuki asked Kazuya, she wasn't upset nor even envious at all even if it's about Yuzuki or not--but she was curious of what's going on. "I don't know... but, I know he's not a good person."

Shizuki's eyes widened when she heard him, she wanted to ask him more about that but he disappeared suddenly and they were left alone. "His name is Hozuki."

Kaname answered while standing between them from almost far away, after recovering from his wound. Shizuki turned around to look at him, as Kazuya appears to be not looking at him, he never heard of that name before. "Hisato?" she tilted his head, the Dragon halted by the name that Kaname mention to her. "I asked the Head Priest about the man you and Kazuya met, apparently he knew and many people tried to get away from him."

Kazuya sighed as he was distressed, this topic had finally came out on purpose and he was pained to explain this. "Thank you for bringing that up but…" he glanced at him coldly. "Does he has something to do with me or Shizuki?"

Kaname shrugged with crossed arms, sighing softly. "I have no idea, however… his personality looks like you, he has the way how you behaved but… he seems eager and willing to kill anyone of us. If you don't believe me, take a look at what the Head Priest being given by Hozuki."

The land god showed the broken scroll with bloodied words written, it says; 'You have to die.'

"I have to die?" Kazuya smirked at the scroll, he was shocked. "That's too much, why does he wants me to die?"

Shizuki snatched the scroll and reading it carefully, her jaw dropped when she find out what's the meaning of it. "Hozuki wrote this?" he nodded hesitantly, not wanting to see Kazuya unleashed his wrath once again-but this time. Kazuya was beyond annoyed as he growls angrily, his eyes turned bluish which means that his wrath has come with his scales growing near his eyes. "How dare he!?"

Shizuki stared at him with wide eyes, she was shocked by his appearance. "Kazuya!"

"Calm down, Kazuya-sama!" Yomi shouted, she didn't expect the water dragon--or mountain god almost unleashing his wrath as Kazuya growled. "How am I suppose to calm down?!" Kazuya snarled at Yomi when he returned inside to ryokan room, he grumbled at them. "I am frustated…" he sat down while Shizuki and both Yomi and Kaname sat together. "What does Hozuki wants from me? Shizuki, you didn't do anything to him, did you?"

Shizuki sighed softly when she crossed her arms, looking up at them. "I didn't, I barely known him… but it has something related to Yuzuki, the reason why he called me mother because I looks like her," she explained, glancing at him. "Kazuya… did you had a child with Yuzuki?" Kazuya didn't want her to be offended by this, he had no choice but to answer honestly. "Yes, I did... and Yuzuki was pregnant when she died."

Shizuki couldn't believe her ears, she felt like she was being stabbed on her heart. "That's… it has nothing to do with me, right?" he shake his head at her question, he can't tell her that Yuzuki was pregnant with his child. "You don't need to know about this matter, I don't want to tell you anything about it," he answered with a low voice, "I just... didn't want to make you upset, it was long time ago, she lived before you were born... I'm an immortal god, remember?"

Shizuki wasn't upset nor offended, she wasn't envious at all--she understood his situation. "I understand, Kazuya..." she nodded as she smiled at him. "You don't have to tell me anything about this matter, I don't want to make you upset. I was worried if there's something happened," Kazuya listens to her as he was relieved, he was glad that she understood what he meant. "I love you no matter what, Kazuya..." Shizuki smiled at him, he smiled back at her. "I'm sorry for being so selfish," she whispered to him, she leaned her head on his shoulder. "It's okay, I understand that you're in pain and you don't want to talk about it with me. I'm here for you, Kazuya."

Kazuya hugged her tighter and kissed her forehead gently, she looked up at him with tears in her eyes. "Thank you, Shizuki..."

Kaname was shocked to hear this fact has revealed, he didn't know that Kazuya actually had a child with Yuzuki in the past--before Kazuya released Shizuki and continue to explain to them. "It's true, I didn't want to have a child with Yuzuki," Kazuya grunts harshly at them, feeling so guilty of thinking about it. "Honestly, she's a human and a priestess...but want to be immortal and want to know what happened?" he huffed at them, revealing the fact. "I don't know why and how did she get pregnant when I visited her, because we didn't share a room that time. She never told me either until she died."

"She was pregnant when she died?" Kaname asked him, he nodded. "It was a shock for both of us, she was trying to hide it from me too. You know, I'm suspicious about whose child she's with," Kazuya crossed his arms, trying to figure out why did she do that to him. "Sealing me was a mistake … I have done nothing wrong to her."

Shizuki was looking at him with wide eyes, she could see the pain in his eyes. "What did happen? Why did she tried to hide it from you?" she asked him. "... she wanted to be immortal, so she can stay with me... but it was..." Kazuya sighed as he closed his eyes. "She didn't even tell me about the child... and when she died, I was in shock, I couldn't believe it. It's a lot of things that I wanted to ask her but... she sealed me away before she died, I couldn't find out anything."

Shizuki couldn't help herself but to hold Kazuya's hand, she could feel the pain in his heart. "Kazuya..." she murmured, she feel bad for him. "I'm sorry, I didn't know about this matter," she apologized to him. "I know you're suffering from it, I'm sorry..."

Kaname was shocked by the fact that she was pregnant with Kazuya's child, he knew that Yuzuki was a human but--she was pregnant with Kazuya's child? He knew that Kazuya loved Yuzuki long time ago, so why did he release her? What was going on with him? "That's too much, why didn't you tell me?" he asked Kazuya, before he heard him scoffed. "Many immortals mocked me in the past for falling in love with a priestess, they said that I have no chance to win her heart because she's human," he grunts coldly, "and you're the same, right?"

Shizuki was stunned hearing his words, she stared at him with widened eyes. Kaname narrowed his eyes, before he shake his head. "You're not the only one, Kazuya," Kazuya was wide-eyed when he said that, he wasn't expecting that from him. "There are many immortals who fell in love with humans, I don't know why they're like that--but it's true, there's no need to doubt them. I've fell in love with a human, but it didn't last long," Kaname answered, sighing softly. "It was hard for me to accept it because I never thought that I would be in love with a human... even though I'm an immortal."

“Kaname-sama..." Yomi hold his arm with concerned face, Kaname stared at Yomi as he smiled at her. "It's alright, Yomi. You're not the only one who have fallen in love with me,” he reassured her, smiling at her.

Yomi smiled back at him, she was happy to hear his words. "Thank you, Kaname..."

Kaname shook his head as he smiled at her. "No, thank you, Yomi."

Kazuya scoffed with a smirk while Shizuki is sitting beside him, mocking him teasingly. "Kaname, you didn't even admit that you really liked Yomi back then?" Kaname grumbled, knowing that Kazuya exposed his secret. He glared at Kazuya. "You didn't say anything about this to me," he accused him, glaring at him. "I never heard about you falling in love with a human, how could you do such thing without telling me?"

"Hmph, I'm waiting for the right time, it's not that easy," Kazuya retorted, before Shizuki let out a deep sigh. "Anyways- cut to the chase, how are we going to stop Hisato?" Shizuki asked, they knew Hozuki is their current threat right now--not only he was Yuzuki's son--but he was dangerous and going to kill Kazuya. Plus, he's going to kill Shizuki as well since she was Yuzuki's reincarnation and even everyone including humans and yokais. "Relax, it'll be fine," Kazuya responded, he was confident that Hozuki would not come after him--besides he was powerful than that bastard, how dare he underestimate him. "We can handle that later, we can use our moments together by hunting for yokais--likely searching for the remaining five Iridescent Pearls."
