After the dry chuckle the Chimera descended into silence once again. The sound of quiet breathing and hands shuffling to grip holstered Laz-guns broke the silence. Corporal Daniel had only known the boy for a few minutes but knew that he was as innocent as the day he was born. But that wasn’t good enough, the threat of chaos loomed over them all their lives and they weren’t about to forget that for this boy.
As the driver lowered the back ramp, Corporal Daniel grabbed his laz-gun from his seat. He checked the power cell for charge and gripped the unconscious George by the collar. Blank faces cover the imperials and not a word needs to be said as to what is meant to be done.
As the ramp lowers a light wind blows into the Chimera. Outside, a jungle of tangled concrete and steel greets the eyes of Daniel. This was the outcome of the first bombardment the hive ship made from orbit. To the horizon and beyond towering structures that once represented the power of the Imperium were left to rot and decay with the corpses of those that lived there. This was the reality of the world George had been sent to and it was one that resembles hell. All that remains now is the Xenos scavenging the place for more biomaterial to fuel their insatiable hunger.
After Daniel dragged George outside he made a quick sweep of the surroundings to ensure he wasn’t going to be immediately ambushed. Upon reaching the still limp body of George, he sighed but that was it. After planting the barrel of the laz-gun firmly against George’s head he pulled the trigger.
However.
There was no sickening sound of plasma evaporating blood and eviscerating flesh though. Daniel looked down and laughed. He’d missed at point blank with the barrel against George’s head. Next though all thoughts of missing left his head and were instantly replaced by terror.
Daniel froze in the 3 seconds it took the metallic voice to say this but then screamed to the unaware guardsmen who had returned to their seats

When he looked down he knew it was the end. At a seemingly impossible speed, a small hand had pierced into his chest through his amour. Before he could have the chance to scream he was already dead.
The now drenched and possessed body of George moved again but turned into a blur in the guardsmen’s eyes. The driver who was nearest the door couldn’t react. The Driver’s head disintegrated into chunks of brain matter and skull as George’s fist hit his head. The guardsmen had only just raised their weapons at this point and started firing.
Unfortunately for them, they only hit the body of the driver which was being used as a shield but they couldn’t stop firing.
It wasn’t enough.
Due to the gunner reaching up to the hatch to get out he had left his lower body undefended and the system had capitalised on this.
As the metallic voice filled the Chimera it confirmed that all the guardsmen had been eliminated along with the crew of the Chimera.
After a brief moment to process the requirements of the task, it began to secure the area and remove the bodies outside. After stripping the bodies of all useful items to the host the system moved to the control panel for the rear door and closed it. It then moved George’s body into seat.
George’s body then sank into the chair, limp and covered in blood.

A tall and muscular man sighed.
At this point a messenger arrived.
The large man stood at this point and ordered to all the people in the room.
