“ So do you know what is it about ? “

To think he would call me so sudden when i just got my day off i hope it’s not something big.

Rigth now i’m inside a carrige with Kean, the duke’s subordinate or should i say my father-in-law’s subordinate.

When i’m forced to retire from my position as the Knight Commander because of my heart condition, Sillian offered me a job as his consul. And since then tons of work submitted to me, it’s not like i’m not grateful it just because if i can choose i prefer to be in the field battling with criminals rather than in the office battling with papers.

I’m still young after all, this kind of jobs should be submitted to me when i hit my forty.

“ I’m sorry but the duke just ordered me to fetch you as fast as possible, he didn’t tell me anything else “

Kean answer my question earlier when i lost my self in though.

“ I see, did anything happen while i’m not present ? “

 ‘as fast as possible’ that line is bothering me.

“ Nothing is out of ordinary as far as i know “

And that means something out of ordinary is actually happen.

We continue chatting for a while inside the carrige until finally we arrive at our destination.

Kean hastily guide me to Sillian’s office as soon as we get out from the carrige, he really in rush because of the ‘as fast as possible’ order from Sillian. Well Sillian is that kind of a man, if he say fast then it have to be so fast just because he don’t want to wait.

“ *knock* *knock* Sir , your consul has arrive “

He knocked the door even though it’s opened to inform about our arrival.

“ You’re finally here, thank you Kean you can leave us now and please close the door “

Whoa that was kinda rude, but he said that with such expression that can’t be described oh his face.

I can see tension, anxiety, confusion mixed in one expression.

This is something serious.

“ Sir “

Kean bow slightly then leave

“ I’m here father, is there something i need to know ? “

“ Come here Jullius there is something you need to see “

He pick a small envelope from his table then handing it to me.

“ This letter is already on top of my table when i come here in the morning, i asked if there is someone who came inside my office before me but they said that there is none “

I take the envelope and it makes me shocked when i notice the seal, the blue seal with the drawing of a rose and an eye in the middle of it.

“ This can’t be, is it from that woman ? “

“ It is, check the letter inside and read it “

I open the envelope and pick the letter inside, there is only one person who will sent a letter with this seal on it.

Dear Draunlass and Boltin families.

I believe that you will notice who is the sender of this letter from the seal on the envelope, but let me say it anyway.

It’s Miranda Corsuel.

First of all let me apolozies to Jullius for disturbing your time with your family. I know you rarely got a day off but the things that i’m gonna tell you is really important.

I don’t want to make any ruckus so i sent this letter to Sillian so he can read it and pass it to you, then you can pass it to your wife.

Ughh... it really is from her, and Sillian i believe you read the letter as well so it will be great if you don’t willingly dance on the palm of her hand and disturbed me.

And please don’t casually watch other people lifes, don’t you know about privacy ?

But well she mentioned about my rare day off, so i hope Sillian will take a note from it.

Second is i know that this is rather late, but still i want to say sorry about what happened to Cire, please accept my condolences.

Now for the main topic.

Recently i saw so many nightmare in my dreams, you all know who i am so that’s nightmares is probably not just a mere nightmares.

I decided to use my ablity to see through time into the future.

I saw many good things in it as well as the cruel things that will happen to the entire world.

To the entire world ?

Why are you telling me this ?

Isn’t it better to tell someone else more important ?

Why you telling me this you ask ?

Simple, because everythings i saw in my visions are focused on the three children on your house.

The three children on my house ?

What do you mean by your visions are focused on them?

First of all let me tell you about these children. Because from my visions, i realize something about them

These children are not normal children.

Your first child Alvin, he will be a blessed child.

Even though i said that the truth is, I don’t know what god that will bless him, i don’t know when that will happen, and i don’t know how that can be happen .

My vision about it is blurred and every time i pushed my self to see it more clearly i got fainted.

I know it sound like a good things to be chosen by a god but the truth is, it’s not a good things.

Your son will be nothing but a tools to achieve that god’s goal.

Believe it even though it’s hard, one day a god will make you son to be his/her champion,

My advice, cut your ties with what ever god you worship now.

I can tell almost the same yet different about Alice and Alvin’s case.

Let me ask you about something , have you ever notice or even asked your self about how she know the things that never been taught to her and how she easily learned anything she been taught to ?

You can say that she is simply talented or has a smart brain, but let’s be honest. Don’t you think that she is too talented or too smart for six years old little girl ?

Let me explain to you then.

After i got my visions i decided to start observing her as well, and what shocked me is that i can already feel a god’s fragment inside of her.

I tried to saw to her past and her future but i found nothing, it makes me confused for a while until i finally realize it. She has been blessed even before she was born.

But just like Alvin’s case i’m unable to see what god that blessed Alice, of course it possible that they has the same god that blessed them.

And the last,

It’s about Nexan, he is a special child from the very begining, i believe you know why.

He won’t be a blessed child and i don’t fell any fragment of god inside his body either.

But just like his father, he possessed a great amount of power.

And just like his father, he’s very complicated.

I will say it again, he is not and won’t be a blessed child and he don’t has any of god’s fragment inside of him but at the same time he has the similiar aura. It irritated me when i think about it because i can’t see any light of it.

These three children along with many people in the world, they will affect this world greatly.

The great war three years ago, do you think that is the end ? do you think that peace will come after that battle ?

Wrong.

That war is just the first war, many other wars and big events will occur in the future and one day these three children will be the part of it.

This is absurd !!!

I thought that as i silently read the content of the letter, the more i read it the harder for me to believe it.

I can understand if it about Nexan, but why did she said all of that about my children ?

Blessed child ? Fragment of god ? and what with this prophecies ?

I can feel my self unable to stand anymore, i let my self fall into a chair and keep processing about the content in this absurd letter.

“ What do you think about it ? “

“ I- i don’t know “

I now understand why Sillian having such expression.

Miranda Corsuel is a great oracle, she is famous with her ability to see through time whether it is the future or even the past. She helped with guiding the hero in the great war three years ago which bring peace to this whole continent. But what she wrote in this letter said that there will be no peace after that ?

“ Many wars and big events will occur and the children will be part of it ? i can’t believe this bullshit “

I don’t want to believe it, i really don’t.

“ About Alvin, do you think that Lord Andresta will bless him ? “

Lord Andresta as know as the god of judgement, the god of Excidium faith. From i the very beginning i’ve become the believer of Excidium. And now to think that my son will be blessed by him... isn’t... isn’t that great ?

To be chosen by the god you worship and serve him as his champion or even become the god’s tool to reach his goal. Isn’t that what we as the believer of him should become from the very beginning ?

And if Alice is already blessed by him shouldn’t i be grateful for it ?

That means among of millions of his believers he chose my family.

“ Jullius, i know what you are thinking right now and i understand, however... i want you think about it more clearly“

His words snap me back into reality.

In this letter she said that it’s not a good thing to be a champion of the god, she even tell some event in the future that will happen to Alvin in her prophecies.

After that Sillian and i excanges about our thought for the rest of the day. We discuss about the children and the prophecies and a way to prevent some of the prophecies.

However with only the two of us we can’t reach anything, we arguing about telling the high priest from Excidium church about the letter but at the same time we can’t let them know about the content of the prophecies.

If we give them Miranda’s letter they will believe it without second thought, but if we just tell them that my children is and will be blessed they will think i’m crazy or that i dream too big.

And the worst part of it is the fact that we can’t get in contact with Miranda at all. We don’t know where she is and how she sent this letter.

I let a heavy breath out of my mouth as i thinking about this day.

This day is should be the day where i can enjoy my time with my family, resting my self from the work as the duke’s consul. But instead of it, i got my self shocking fact about my children and the burden of a prophecies about the entire world.
