His body, smooth and natural, was displayed in full sight.
(The spacing is awful in this chapter, and probably many more. Bad habit, apologies.)
He chuckled nervously, before putting the shirt back on.
A sly smirk surfaced for a split-second.
"Doesn-. What-? But I swear I saw-."
My mind was in shambles. As was my plan.
Elrar lowered his eyes to his book once more. Uncaring now.
Chloras reaction however, hit much differently.
"You're... not who I thought you were."
Icy and almost... careful with her words around me.
She then walked away in a swift stride.
I watched as the deathening distance between us increased. In my mind and in the physical world.
I walked down as well. Ignoring Vorgios humbling smile.
I found myself in the dark room. Maybe I just need some time alone.
Yeah that sounds goo-.
"Tell me."
Let me be alone.
"Truly and honestly tell me."
Let me be alone.
"I want you to tell me, right now in this very moment."
I turned back, my eyes red and small strands of red lightning prancing around them.
Our eyes interlocked.
"Was it worth it?"
His eyes turned an effulgent green.
The green of the Dragovich.
My eyes red and his green. Our visions clashed.
I didn't speak. Rather I let the burning and piling anger within me speak its own words.
Our eyes stayed locked, not blinking once. Despite the freakish occurrence, he kept talking. Unminding of the silently agreed no blinking rule.
His unwavering eyes came closer to mine as he moved forwards. Our faces were so close I could see every feature, bigger and sickening.
His fresh-dough breath marauded my nostrils.
A cobra tattoo spread over his face. As if it had traversed his oily skin and found its way up to my face.
"Was it worth it, knowing one of my many secrets..."
His eyes green glow only intensified as he kept speaking.

"And in return, losing friendship, kinship and trust. You have even generously... granted myself some reinforcement to my position. I must admit this whole ordeal has been nothing but a wild ride for myself. Thanks to you, I don't think I'll be leaving."
"Any."
"Time."
"Soon."
His last words crept right into my ears.
He blasted a mocking smile as the cobra on his face slithered away.
Sweat formed on my body.
No-one was here.
Just the two of us.
He had a simple sickly laugh before he spoke once more.
"Aah. So. TELL ME. Was it worth it?"
His sudden loudness caught me off guard.
I felt my core shake.
I felt my right leg voluntarily going backwards due to the intensity of this face-off.
And my eyes hurt.
Really bad. So bad, in fact that they had started watering.
Well. Who knows, it could've been tears or pain.
A muddle of the two, perhaps.
Vorgio began opening his loudmouth for another act yet a cold voice shook the halls as it pierced through the atmosphere that had settled down.
"Stand down. Vorgio."
A man with long aged black hair, wrinkles that couldn't hide defined features and eyes that possessed tainted light.
Vorgio laughed heartily.
"And if I don't."
What.
"What could you possibly-."
What is that.
"Do to a figure such as myself. In this setting even-."
Above Vorgio, I could see a huge storm of World Energy gathering. So large that I doubted if I was dreaming. It was beautiful. Every colour flourished into a swirling storm of universes.
"You wouldn't even attempt to do such a-."
The storm started competing. I felt as if cogs had found their place and the several separated junctions started fusing.
"Vile,disrespectful, uncharacteristic-"
The storm suddenly started vibrating wildly. Threatening to release at any moment.
" and inhumane thing to someone such as-."
Boom.
A crater formed in the ground. The world energy synergized. Becoming a straight downwards spiral. Its beauty remained untouched yet now it looked almost crafted.
Vorgios' head lifted. Blood dripped from his nose and mouth. His mouth was slightly open, taken aback. His eyes were shocked as he looked at Elrar. His eyebrows winced.
"WHAT ARE Y-."
His yell was cut brief.
As if the entire storm was crashing down, the booms sounded one after the other with almost no interval. Vorgio relentlessly tried to lift his head but was unsuccessful and blasted down all the more each time.
Huge torrents of ethereal-colourless world-energy smashed down.
Boom.Boom.Boom.Boom.Boom.Boom.Boom.Boom.Boom.
Each boom crushed Vorgios' steel-lit body further into the ground.
The initial pressure had already made a mix of excrement, bodily fluids and blood fly out of Vorgios mouth.
Landing on the floor in an awful spray.
It formed a wet splatter that spread with every boom.
Boom.Boom.Boom
It reached the wall and even the tips of my feet. I took a few steps back in disgust.
And next, I watched as a world-spell far beyond my understanding was released.
In a small environment too, I was certain it was being held from its true potential. I imagined the potential such a spell had.
It was as if the World-Energy acted like a gravitational pressure. No scrap that. It was more like a machine gun or a program?
Repeatedly powering itself up before unleashing the deadliest blasts possible despite its confinements.
Vorgio made barriers as fast as he could yet found them smashing into himself from the sheer force.
Wait. No. It wasn't force. I looked at Elrar.
He was controlling each blast, deciding if it should carry the energy or full-out blow it.
Whenever a strong enough barrier was crafted, he would use the World-Energy so that it would attack Vorgio.
If there was nothing in his way? Then there was a new splatter of blood unleashed from Vorgios throat.
His most effective attack so far.
Elrars voice broke through the gutters as Vorgio held his arms over his head desperately.
His body had become so dented that he looked like circulized tinfoil.
The voice was booming and authoritative.
"You've become arrogant, Vorgio."
Vorgio could barely even hear Elrars voice through the constant booming and crashings.
Therefore, Elrar sent his voice through the booms.
Each boom made a word travel through its vibrations.
This caused the words to be even more impactful, frightening and deathening.
"Remember who I was, Who I am. And that this is my stay."
"And that I would draw blood for it's safeguard no matter the scene."
And with that, the last of the attacks sounded.
Air shockwaves blasted across the room. Pushing Vorgios nose upwards, my mentors robes back and my vermillion hair straight above my face. I could only look at my teacher in awe and Vorgio in a tinge of happiness.
As if armageddon had ended, Vorgio was no longer laughing.
He could in fact, hardly even see properly. Let alone talk. His form was so pitiful that I almost shed a tear.
Partially a tear of joy, of course.
It was no banishment, yet I enjoyed it.
I took care to slowly step on Vorgios face on my way out.
By accident, of course.
I shut the door behind me. Even though it was tempting to mess with him, it was not my victory. Besides...
Some things are best left behind us. Afterall, revenge is an endless cycle. No?
I made sure Vorgio caught my smirk as I left the room. The light thinning out as his face bore a mix of humiliation, embarrassment and resentment.
I even showed him a different set of pearly whites for a change.
I assured myself that he would not be so cocky or intrusive after this event.
For the man we all hated and loved was in this very household.
And his actions had put an anchor of fear on all of our future decisions.
Even mine, infact.
And so I left him in that abyss.
And he wallowed I hope.
Wallowed in the pain I wailed in.
And I prayed that he would never dare stick a hand in my intestines again. That he would never even dare to do anything as audacious as what he had attempted.
Not now.
Not tomorrow.
Not ever again.
Not whilst that man resided here atleast...
