CHAPTER 3 : Veiled Destinies

As Fate and Sany stood at the altars, a sudden commotion broke out. Amidst the ceremonies, two intricately crafted gifts arrived, one for each sister. These were gifts from their mother, a token of her love and blessings on this momentous day.

As Fate and Sany reached for their respective gifts, a strange sensation washed over them. It felt as though an invisible force gripped their souls, pulling them towards each other. In that fleeting moment of contact, a surge of energy passed between them.

Suddenly, everything changed. Fate found herself standing in Sany's body, surrounded by unfamiliar faces in the demon realm. Meanwhile, Sany stood bewildered in Fate's body, amidst the celestial court.

Fate/Sany: (to herself) "What... What just happened? How am I here?"

As she tried to make sense of her situation, a servant approached, bowing respectfully.

Fate/Sany: (to herself) "Something feels off since I woke up. This place isn't familiar, and these clothes aren't mine... Now tell me, where is my demon princess gown?"

The servant, clearly taken aback by the question, stumbled over his words.

Servant: "Celestial princess, we... we're not sure. But your betrothal to the celestial prince will have to be postponed. Please, come with me."

Fate/Sany's eyes widened in disbelief. The uncertainty of the situation weighed heavily on her mind as she struggled to grasp its implications.

Fate/Sany: (addressing the servant, her voice trembling) "Celestial prince... which celestial? Wait, what did you call me?"

The servant hesitated, fear evident in his eyes to have said something wrong.

Servant: "I... I dare not speak it, my lady."

Fate/Sany's frustration surged, her patience waning.

Fate/Sany: (with anger) "Tell me my name!"

Servant: "You are... Princess Sany."

Fate/Sany's breath caught in her throat as the weight of the revelation sank in. The realization that her identity might have been exposed filled her with a sense of dread.

As she delved deeper into her thoughts, she realized that if she confessed the truth, her real identity might be unveiled, leading to dire consequences that could take out her life.

Fate/Sany: (to herself) "I need to figure out what happened, but first, I need to try to stay alive." With a resolve born of necessity, Fate/Sany followed the servant through the winding corridors of the celestial palace, her mind racing with questions and uncertainty.

The tale has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.

As they approached the garden where the celestial prince awaited her, she steeled herself for the encounter ahead. As she entered the garden, Fate/Sany was met with the sight of the celestial prince, his expression icy and his demeanor aloof.

Celestial Prince: (coldly) "You are late, Princess. I do not tolerate tardiness."

Fate/Sany hesitated, unsure how to respond to the prince's harsh words. She felt a surge of defiance rise within her, but fear held her tongue.

Fate/Sany: (hesitant) "I... I apologize, Your Highness. It won't happen again."

Celestial Prince: (with a scoff) "See that it doesn't. Now, answer me. Do you understand the gravity of our union? The importance of this marriage?"

Fate/Sany felt a surge of frustration at the prince's condescending tone. Despite her apprehension, she couldn't suppress the fire burning within her.

Fate/Sany: (boldly, her voice tinged with arrogance) "Of course, Your Highness. I understand perfectly well. Our marriage is a strategic alliance, a means to strengthen the bond between our realms. It is not about love or affection, but rather about power and politics."

The celestial prince's eyes narrowed at her audacity, clearly taken aback by her boldness.

Celestial Prince: (icily) "You dare to speak to me in such a manner? I guess you're not too manered like the rumors go ."

Fate/Sany felt a chill run down her spine at the prince's cold words, but she refused to cower in his presence.

Fate/Sany: (firmly, her voice tinged with defiance) "My apologies if my demeanor does not meet your expectations, Your Highness. But circumstances have a way of revealing one's true nature."

With that said, the celestial prince turned on his heel, his robes billowing behind him as he strode away towards the festival place where the wedding ceremony was to take place. Fate/Sany took a deep breath, reminding herself to stay calm despite the whirlwind of emotions swirling within her.

As she followed in the prince's wake, Fate/Sany's mind raced with a tumult of thoughts. The encounter had left her unsettled, but she knew that now was not the time for recklessness. She had to tread carefully, for her own sake and for the sake of her sister, wherever she might be.

As Fate/Sany entered the grand hall where the wedding ceremony was to take place, she was met with the stern gaze of the prince's mother, a formidable figure whose presence commanded respect and obedience.

Prince's Mother: (authoritatively) "Before we proceed with the ceremony, there is a ritual that must be observed. It is a test of the bond between bride and groom, a sacred tradition passed down through generations."

Fate/Sany's heart sank as she realized the gravity of the situation. The ritual she had heard whispers of, the one that would determine the fate of her union with the celestial prince, was about to begin.

With a sense of foreboding, Fate/Sany listened as the prince's mother explained the ritual. Each bride and groom would be required to offer a single drop of their blood to the magic stone, a mystical artifact said to possess the power to reveal the true nature of their bond.

Prince's Mother: (intoning solemnly) "If the stone accepts your blood and glows with the light of destiny, it is a sign that your union is blessed by the heavens. But if it remains dark and silent, it is a sign that your bond is not meant to be."

With a trembling hand, Fate/Sany extended her palm towards the magic stone, steeling herself for the moment of truth. The prince's mother watched intently, her eyes piercing as Fate/Sany prepared to offer her blood.

A servant burst into the room, their eyes wide with panic as they approached Fate/Sany with a sense of urgency.

Servant: (breathlessly) "My lady, there's been a mistake! She's fake "
