“Aiko ,” Jack called out when his head rose up out of the black water and took a much needed gulp of air.
“ Yes Bossman ,” she appeared swimming next to him , the sea drenching her long blue hair into sticky lines wrapping around her face
Seeing her blue aura was a welcome sight in light of all the monochrome going on around.
“Once I use Crit rate , I’ll either be too weak to heal myself or the stamina will be critically low. Whatever happens , only pull the emergency switch when I have killed the Electromadon ,”
“ But Bossman , Aiko has already used seven rejuvenation bars to heal you from just that one attack and you’ve also lost Excalibur . Aiko cannot sit by and watch Bossman risk his life when she knows there is the risk of the System lacking enough rejuvenation bars to heal future damage,” she protested.
“ Excalibur has an expiration time. Even if it has sunk to the bottom of the ocean , once that time is up it will go back into the System,”
“Bossman knows that that is not Aiko’s point. Please Bossman , Aiko knows you have enough stamina to swim over to land . Aiko begs Bossman to save his life ,”
The Electromadon turned over to Jack’s direction and sent a round of lightning his way.
Not willing to let her risk her life , Jack pulled Aiko back into the System . With Flowing Paradise going at maximum , only two more rejuvenation bars were used this time to keep himself alive.
‘This is becoming tedious,’ Jack looked at the remaining number of rejuvenation bars. Three.
“Crit rate ,” he activated the double edged sword of a talent.
Inside his System , Aiko watched in dismay as Jack as well engaged the other risky talent.
“Overclock !”
With Overclock , rejuvenation bars were converted into pure damage that was stackable and added to what was already granted to combat related talents.
Going off pure intuition , Aiko guessed that an attack from a talent like Singularity was by now around 300% of its normal damage output.
It would be enough to kill the Electromadon , but Jack only had around four minutes at best in the current state before the strain literally killed him.
“Aiko is sorry Bossman , but Aiko will only give two minutes,” she made her decision .
As Jack swam over to the floating ice plane , Seafang engaged the Electromadon , his flaming sword doing very little to help him. It however did buy Jack time to close in on the monster , and he came at with a vicious knee to the chin.
Apparently Overclock also boosted his Personal Attributes on top of the Talents , and the kick sent the tough brute of a monster a couple of steps back.

‘Crit Rate and Overclock are burning through my stamina at an alarming rate , I need to end this fight now,’ Jack started getting anxious.
And just as had been happening with all his previous battles , a rush of blood thirst and exhilaration came over him.

The Electromadon , seeing that the opponent had improved greatly , decided to give a demonstration of what a true fight with a monster descended from Titania looked like.
With its dark body swelling up with copious amounts of white static lightning , the creature’s body turned into pure energy and instantly dissipated wholly into the ice below.
At its current temperature , the ice was a superconductor.
Jack and Seafang, who had been standing next to each other , were blown off their feet as the monster emerged directly from under the ground they stood upon. Seafang was sent flying aside , his magical shield being the only thing that kept his life.
For Jack , the Electromadon had more plans.
It clenched its sharp edged claws into a fist and met his abdomen with a cross punch that had enough force to crush the bonnet of a small car.
He flew off and landed on water , the momentum causing him to literally bounce over the liquid’s surface. Hopping across buildings with Caesar had been better than this a hundred times over.
He was chased closely by a fast forming trail of ice , which easily caught up with him.
The Electromadon emerged from this whirl of ice and lightning , the left hand ready to deliver an uppercut punch that just about broke the sound barrier with its speed.
Jack reacted quickly , barely dodging the hit by using the ice forming around his feet as a support base.
The dodged attack sent with it a wall of deadly lightning rising into the skies and parting the clouds above. With the amount of energy that was carried in that attack , even Jack was not sure if he would have survived that hit.
Another set of claws came at him , getting his chest as he lept back .
As the blood interacted with the residual lightning from the attack ,it started crystallising , the effect going all the way into the wound on his chest.
Aiko was the one who engaged Rejuvenation once more to prevent Jack’s insides from freezing over.
“Constricted Surface !” Jack shouted as the Electromadon sent out an all round shock wave of lightning that blew him painfully high into the air.
His defensive talents did lessen the damage taken , but the pain was never filtered.
Activating Constricted Surface was a tactical move by Jack , aiming to plant the Talent on the ice plane that would form immediately after the lightning struck the water around the monster. With its increased output , it wouldn’t be something the Electromadon could afford to ignore.
Perception had already shown him a critical weakness , “ You need ice to move across the water.”
Under the steroid effects of Crit Rate and Overclock , the Constricted Surface talent hit the Electromadon like rampant H-bombs.
They came at it relentlessly and after the sixth hit , its right arm was blown off and most of the ice formed around had started burning into boiling water.
Its lost arm easily regenerated and it started sending out even more streaks of lightning to counter the thawing effect of Constricted Surface.
The talent fired at anything that moved , targeting even the lightning chains .This was because they carried so much power that they could have as well been considered touchable items.
As Jack reached the point of terminal velocity and gravity started pulling him back to the dark sea below , he aimed his hand and poised the two fingers at the Electromadon.
It had survived Singularity at normal output owing to the great distance it had been at earlier. But now , Jack was just barely ten metres away from it and the attack itself had a massive boost to its maximum output.

Seafang and the rest of his surviving crew shielded their eyes as Singularity lit up like a small sun , drawing in massive amounts of energy from the surroundings into its event horizon.
Nathaniel and Allan watched with amazement as they clung onto the pile of driftwood keeping them afloat.
“He must be the strongest enforcer there is ,” Nathaniel said.
“Your right son , I can only name but a handful who can do what Jack Kamphar is doing right now ,” Allan agreed.
The Electromadon gave up on the fires around it and turned what Jack was doing above. It wanted to move but any ice that tried to form was immediately blown to vapour.
“Singularity ,”
Jack calmly watched the cosmic power descend upon the Electromadon , scorching it to ash within seconds , then proceeding to dig a massive crater deep into the sea.
What followed was an inverted explosion , with the fallout spreading beneath the sea and causing massive spontaneous tidal waves that crashed violently into each other.
Having so much power inside it , Singularity as well undid Constricted Surface on impact .
This allowed the rising waves to start a mass crystallisation as the stray lightning arcs released from the Electromadon’s body spread across the waters both beneath and above.
This created a wide plane of ice that went all the way to the remains of the ship.
As Jack lost consciousness and started falling , Aiko quickly pulled the plug on all active talents and jumped out of his body having left the last bits of Rejuvenation to heal anything and everything they could.
She came out just as he was about to hit the ice surface , and was able to cushion his landing. Getting injured was a non issue for her since the System could easily heal her when she got back into his soul.
