She continued to fall down into the depths of the temple below. It felt like almost endless, but Nia saw the floor below eventually. As Nia fell near the ground, her wings slowed her to a halt as she touched the cold floor. The room was wide and dark. There were a number of sarcophagi and graves surrounding her. The sandstone purple and ancient. And in the middle of the room was a tear in space. Just as Miura said, Nia thought. She walked carefully along the sandstone floor. Scorpions, cockroaches, and mice scurried away from her footsteps. The portal was dark blue with no sign of anything beyond it. Nia was unable to see past the blue glow. It floated in mid-air twisting the space around it. Nia was unsure whether it was safe, but she resolved herself. Either she would find a new home for herself or die on her two feet, she believed. She gulped preparing herself.

Within moments, the graves began to shake. The sarcophagi opened themselves revealing nothing but teeth and insects. It grew two elongated arms on it's sides made of purple tentacles.
