Akai and Miura were eating soup with Nera at her cabin. Akai needed a plan to defeat Kytlmyne. His wings were still burned. He knew that he wouldn't be able to fly. Miura knew where Kytlmyne and continued to watch him with her crows.
Miura and Nera blew on their own soup, while Akai ate it without trying to cool it down. The room was quiet.
"Akai, so you have been wandering the world as an adventurer, right? You must have seen some crazy things," Nera said to start a conversation.
Akai finished his soup and said, "Well, I have seen a lot of things. I saw plenty of monsters that I had to hunt. One of the jobs was to hunt down a giant snake."
Nera smiled and asked, "Can you tell me about it? I want to hear more about outside the village."
Miura continued to eat her soup quietly and paid no attention to either of them.

He smiled and said, "Well, it wasn't too difficult. I was expecting some kind of fight, but all I did was buy some poison and baited it. I sprinkled some poison on a carcass and as soon as the snake saw a meal, it ate it. It died a few moments later, and I got a reward."
"Wow. You didn't even have to fight it. How large was it?"
"It was the size of three houses. I would have fought it, but when a shop owner noticed that I took the job, he said that there was an easier way to fight it and sold me the poison. I thought that maybe it wouldn't work or not be enough, but it was -"
He stopped mid-sentence.
"Are you okay, Akai?" Nera asked. Miura also stopped eating her soup and wondered what Akai was thinking.
"Oh. It was nothing. I just got lost in my head is all," He said as he laughed it off.

During that night, Akai wanted to talk to Miura.
"I have an idea on how to take down Kytlmyne, but I will need some help," he said.
Miura smiled deviously. "Oh. You think you got some idea on how to kill him?"
"Yes, but I need to know something, first."
He paused. "How fast would it take for a crow to get to King's City." He held out a small parchment towards the witch.
