"Hey, Kaian! how are you doing?" William asked me brightly.

"Hey, are you okay?" I asked as he was covered with bandages thrice the amount that I had.

"Yeah I am fine now just some wounds left most were healed by these healers here," He said pointing at the two healers

'So these are the people Ranell was talking about I thought

"Yeah they are healers," Velarius tells me

'How can you even tell people's aura? and what exactly is the aura?' I ask Valerius

"It's not a thing a kid in a weak state like you can do maybe you will unlock in your next fusion" He replies

'You know I feel insulted least not be that frank' I complained

"Alright just an old habit of mine sorry about that anyways I hope we get along in the future and all that stuff" He replies

Then one of the people came and without saying a word touched my bandages and a greenish-white light spread throughout my bandages after some minutes it stopped I could feel refreshed and comfortable and some of the pain seems gone.

"You were so cool yesterday we fought till a draw but I cannot remember how the fight ended" He fills the room with excitement.

"Yeah... that was fun," I said nervously

'Even I don't know what happened yesterday.' I thought

The healers soon left as well.

'Now we are alone shit' I thought

We were stuck together for 4 hours and with nothing to do we had to talk to each other and we were quite similar actually.

We had many responsibilities and were the only ones interested in things in this world other than magic and the system, So we became quite good acquaintances at least from my side.

Soon the trio came with Lance in toe.

And we separated in our ways.

At least I got some information about their group.

"What did you guys do today?" I asked them so I won't fall back much in training and skills as skills were currently my only advantage against them.

"You just barely won yours and you would have lost even worse if you had fought Lance" Jake replied and their argument continued.

Soon we got separated Jake and Luke went to eat food while Hudson and I walked in the empty hallways.

After a few minutes of silence, I asked him.

"Hey, what's going in your mind?"

"Seriously I cannot hide anything from you can I?" He replied with a smirk.

"I am just thinking about what happening in our world it does not even feel real... I miss my home and aunt and uncle." He replies with clear sadness visible in his voice.

"Don't worry you are not the only one thinking that I think those two are also missing it," I say as I try to comfort him.

Soon after that, we left separately to return to our rooms.

"You guys seem close," Velarius says

'Yeah' I reply.

Huge Timeskip

What followed for the next 3 weeks was nothing but the same routine as always.

I woke up trained in the training ground under the supervision of Ranell with other heroes studied in the library alone and ate and talked some with the trio and William and slept and repeated in a loop for the whole 3 weeks.

The almost same loop as it was on Earth truly boring as always.

My thinking changed as well and my speech became like this damned Velarius.

And according to him, it was due to Spectral Fusion.

But the main event soon came we were going to the city of Vaeloria due to another invasion of demons.~"Rise and Shine! today is the day when we set off to fight the demons" Velarius says to me as I just woke up with a voice brimming with excitement.

'Yeah yeah I know I reply

'But I am still scared that something might happen to me or the trio'

"I will be sleeping till you reach that city so bye for now, "He says.

'Seriously I still don't understand how can he sleep. I only know that he is a dead spirit and other than that he ignores every question I ask regarding his life' I think as I got up and left

I found two knights outside waiting for everyone.

After some minutes everyone came outside the trio came from their respective room we chatted for a bit as always followed the knights outside towards the palace gates.

There was Ranell with a bunch of carriages.

"Today you will be heading off to the battlefields some of you may die or even be disabled or be unable to ever fight again be that as may you will have to fight to uphold your responsibilities and I hope nothing but wellness and prosperity on whichever path you take." He said and left.

William and I still had been training during the nights after the duel so we had more combat experience than the others.

With that, we hopped in the carriages and left.

On a hot sunny day when the heroes had just started their travels, a duo was following them from the shadow.

And they were of course Linden and Octavian.

"Seriously this is their security?" Octavian exclaims with shock.

"It's high for everyone we are the one out of ordinary" Linden replies

"Yes but cannot be called to keep information under control if they are publically transporting the heroes to the borders"

"I agree maybe its a show of force for their neighbours and of course on the empire"Linden replies

"At their current state, they are very weak and will be very easy to kill what the orders from the top?" Octavian asked

"Just to monitor them and look at their growth and analyse their weaknesses and do not interfere and also do not be found those were the orders given" Linden replies.

"Seriously so they technically want us to do nothing?""Yes I think this was probably done by Cassius Blackwood so we don't win too much favour," Linden says.

"Now we have someone else to handle as well let's get this over with, "Octavian says as they follow the carriage outside the city using artifacts.
