Li Bing once more opened her eyes, a rare warmth could be seen, but soon turned back to its usual coldness after a flutter.
Ling Wei during this time had been exploring the Red River Sect, as a transmigrator from modern Earth, even after 5 years, the new universe he had entered still intrigued him, before journeying down to the Island of Mortals, he had mainly stayed within the confines of Ling Kuanguang's immortal residence, which, despite Ling Kuanguang's powerful status, is not too aesthetically pleasing, as cultivators would gradually distance themselves from worldly desires as they increase in strength. Ling Kuanguang's immortal is nothing but a large wooden manor surrounded by vast nothingness. It, as a detached portion from the Immortal Realm, is completely untraceable without approval from Ling Kuanguang himself, isolated from the rest of the world.
The immortal residence, despite the seemingly simple craftsmanship, however, is made of the rarest possible material, all of which greatly enhance the concentration of spiritual essence, which the combined effects of Ling Kuanguang's lavish materials, it is undoubtedly a place with the greatest amount of spiritual essence in the entire multiverse. Its furniture crafted from million-year-old rosewood, its original size stretching all the ways to heavens and thick enough as to cover an entire modern-day city, only the innermost core used, with the rest as the material for the house. The roofs were made of the combination of earth essence, glazed with yin qi then heated through the fire produced by a phoenix.
Outside the house is a garden surrounded by a wutong tree that had existed since immemorial, found the centre of what cultivators would consider as the most hostile of lands, if given to a phoenix tribe, it could be considered the most sacred of entities. A tribe of phoenixes inhabits the wutong tree, at the top is the Empress of Phoenix, which has accompanied Ling Kuanguang since the start of his journey, and also another one of his wives. The garden also contains a jade bed, such could be considered the most eye-catching feature of the entire residence, with exquisite carving depicting an ancient battle, fought between a Transcending Immortality realm expert from aeons ago, greatly benefit one's cultivation. A stream consisting of yin water flows through the garden, with abilities to increase vital yin essence in female cultivators, it is a one of a kind treasure. Within the stream, ordinary carps could be seen, each waiting for the moment to leap out of the water and transform into a dragon.

The seemingly ordinary house, built of these, would consume all the riches of even the largest of sects. However, due to its plain design, after living for five years, grew dull for Ling Wei. So the imposing aura of sects meant to attract young talents are built extravagantly, with similarities to imperial palaces in the modern world, large ponds and rivers surround the Red River Sect, each with the colour of blood, for an ordinary person, a dip within the water would temper the tendons and muscles. The floor, made of marble, reflects the sunlight, giving the sect a sacred feel, and the building itself is large and grand, with imperial yellow coating the walls and roof, it gives it an indescribable sense of majesty.
The sect is separated into many sections, with careful mathematics put in place to ensure light would shine through in winter, but never summer, ensuring coolness in summer and warmth in winter. The scene of thousands of disciple training gives a natural sense of oppression to anyone viewing, though, to Ling Wei, he had been billions of disciple located in the same square within the Island of Mortals, where spiritual qi allows for much more fertile land, causing a much larger population, along with the increase of land mass as realms increase, allowing for a much larger pool of talents to draw from, as well as the natural environment filled with spiritual essence which allows individuals to have a much smoother journey through cultivation. Cases like Ling Kuanguang, where he was in an environment with low spiritual essence since birth ascending more than one realms are practically unheard of, usually, cultivators that have ascended would instead highly value their descendants born into the new world, placing their full inheritance in hopes they can ascend and do the same for their descendants.
Ling Wei journeyed around the main hall, which bare striking resemblance of the Imperial City, then turned to enter a pavilion, located in the middle of a lake. Seemingly no one notice Ling Wei's existence, as couples admired the view. The pavilion has a scent of freshness, within the lake lays dozens of lotuses, each blooming, with thousands of koi fish each swimming elegantly. Surrounding the lake are dozens of artificial mountains, made of the same material as the surrounding landscape of the sect, it camouflages perfectly into its environment. The whole sect, with the entirety of its building and landscapes, forms a single defence formation, with the rarity of formations in the lower realms, it could be considered as nothing only the largest empires could maintain. The complexity of formations would lower with the material used, something made entirely of mortal material would require an astronomical cost to be made, with detailed planning and constant maintenance. The Red River Sect only managed to create their own formation through the materials Ling Kuanguang had given them before he had cut all ties with the sect.
Considering the gift Li Bing had given to them to cut off her own ties, the Red River Sect would certainly grow greatly.
