Last book…Kaden and party checked up on BirchHome and found it thriving. Kaden got in between two centurions brawling, earned a talent that doubled his Quest Rewards, and the gryphon egg finally hatched, deformed and dying. Kaden took it to his dungeon where it was reborn as a Wandering Champion, Cloud, and placed Cloud in the care of a smaller colony to learn to be a gryphon.

Working with a group of rangers, Kaden and Eve marked demons infesting a village and the rangers slaughtered them, with Trella fighting the oldest Demon’s Duaghter, Desmona, and Kaden capturing the name of the fifth Abyss Lord, which he traded for spell pages that, like Ashi, shift colleges.

They escorted a group of level twenty mages through a Fire Domain maintained by the royal fmaily of Trunistan, where Kaden encountered a fire dragon, stole a scale, and wound up in possession of the only Burning Dream Queen egg, which was just loot all around.

When they emerged in Trunistan, a city that reveres crafters, Trella spotted a [Slaver]. Her first mission? Free the slaves, while Mistress Scylla dealt with the slaver. Kaden used the dragon scale to unlock [Beast Form], severely burning his right hand with sheer mana. While Trella freed the slaves outside the Slaver’s house the party hit the house, where they discovered a second Slaver, the younger brother. He took control of Kaden, who fought back by using [Beast Form] to become a minotaur. Trella broke the slaver’s control, they killed the slaver, and blew up his house with a [Match Lizard] and a few spare mana bombs. Afterwards, the slaver’s victims were rewarded with enough gold for a new life…which Kaden’s talent doubled. With Trella finally at tier two, the party prepared for a new phase of life.
