I turned my neck to look at the owner of the voice.
It was a human. An old looking grey haired and purple eyed scary looking grandma.
I tried to speak, but my voice was not my own. “Why? Why did you do this to me? I am a goblin! Why did you turn me into this … thing?”
“Um um um… I don’t know. Just felt like it.” the grandma answered with a sadistic smile.
“Do you have a death wish human? Give me back my body this instant!” I shouted angrily.
“Sure, but what can you offer me? You don’t assume I will do it for free, do you? Don’t forget that your life is in my hands Zolkiem warrior!”
“You… you… vile creature. What do you want from me?” I asked with gritted teeth.
“Why should I tell you? All the cards are in my hands anyway. Do you dare to bet your life on the unknown? Or will you stay human forever youngin?”
Does she think I will fall for her ridiculous taunt? I am not an idiot! But I will definitely get rejected by my tribe and great god if I stay in this vile form.
“I… I can do anything you ask apart from hurting my tribesmen! Give my body back now!” I answered trying to hide my despair and killing intent as best as I could.
The grandma smirked viciously. “Are you sure you won’t regret it young warrior? I am not a good person per se. I will definitely become your worst nightmare.”
Her eerie words and expressions made my horribly fragile new hair stand on end. She was serious. Of course she was. She had already put a dreadful curse on me. One of the most malicious kind at that. But did I even have a choice? I needed to save my tribe. And I couldn’t go back with this appearance. I would be killed on sight.

“Yes please. Give my body back to me.” I replied unwillingly.
“Alright I will, but in exchange you will become my slave and obey my every word.” She said grinning from head to toe.
This woman was the DEVIL. I thought. To warriors being a slave was not an option and she knew it. Should I kill her and find another way to get my body back?
Before I made a decision, the demonic grandma made strange hand gestures. The air around us turned still. Purple chains of light swirled around her hands like they had lives of their own.
She began to talk in the foreign tong I couldn’t quite recognize again.
“Anzaram tettis Resomir litentas coresen Liz”
The purple chains began to turn faster, coiling around her whole body like a dragon, making their fearsome owner even more intimidating.
“Geressa iten faris!”
Suddenly, they leaped on me, binding my body in place. When they tightened further I began to feel like a prisoner. I wreaked havoc trying to free myself from this quagmire. How could a warrior tolerate such humiliation! I should have killed her!
I was suffocating. My heart thumped loudly in my chest.
Then after what felt like hours, the chains who bound my body disappeared. Leaving behind deep purple marks. A creepy sensation washed over me. It felt like tendrils sipped into my skin and moved inside my body, binding my heart tightly. I instinctively felt that my life wasn't in my hands anymore. If she made the tendrils squeeze harder, my heart would be crushed into a paste of juicy matters.
I shuddered, as visceral fear griped my tripes.
I was so screwed.
I wouldn't even be able to fight back at this rate.
This damn witch, I will make her pay one day! I swear on the name of our great god Zholkiem!
Wait she was a witch … No way! Don’t tell me she was the one who put a curse on our tribe!? If so we were really screwed.
What could I do now that I had been caught by the very cause of our tribe’s misfortune?
“What did you do to me witch?” I asked with a forlorn expression.
“Oh nothing much I just made you unable to betray me… by compelling you to obey my orders with my most cherished curse.” She grinned viciously savoring every change in my expression.
She continued, her voice filled with malice, “If you please me, I might turn you back into the little goblin you are. Disobey me and you will remain in this weak, human shell for all eternity.”
