Harry Potter

{Damnit.} I whisper in my head as I think about the dumb accident that just happened to me.

{Just a little more attention to the street and I wouldn't be in this situation.} I say to myself with accusing tone.

{Anyway, it's too late for regrets, that impact surely killed me for good.} I think as the memories of the feeling that your head gets pushed out of its original shape and its content takes a private jet into the distance flashes before my inner eye.

A cold shudder runs down my back as I recall the feeling.

Finished with my self monolog I change my focus to my surroundings which unsurprisingly is black as the darkest void.

{Maybe it is the void.} I question myself as I try to discern something in the dark without success.

"Anyone here?!!!" I shout into the darkness hoping to get a response as I already get very nervous at being surrounded by nothing.

"Indeed, young one." An old sounding voice reaches my ears, if I still have ears.

Stunned from the actual answer I keep silent for a while.

"You don't have to worry; you didn't imagine my voice young one." The old voice says.

His voice pulled me back from my shock and I regained my thinking capabilities.

"Sorry, I didn't want to be rude. Its just that I didn't really expected someone to answer me." I apologies sincerely as I turn into the vague direction from where I hear the old voice coming.

"Don't worry I understand, it isn't everyday that you die and find yourself in such place, right?" The old voice speaks again with an amused tone.

The tale has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation.

"So, I really died huh, and here I hoped that I'm just having a weird dream." I lament with surprisingly little sadness over my death.

"Anyway, I'm here to bring you back to the soul cycles of your world. You accidentally left the and ended up in this tier 9 dimension. Even I don't know how you managed to get up her form a mere tier 1 world." He explains.

"Excuse me but what do you mean by tier 9 and 1 worlds?" I hesitantly ask the voice.

"Ah that. It's a ranking system used to describe the strength level of a world/Reality.

Tier 1 and 2 are for worlds with no or low amounts of high energy live forms like dragons, phoenixes or ghosts.

Tier 3 and 4 is for the ones with some extra dimensions like heaven, hell or spirit world.

Tier 5 and 6 are the ones with gods and different realms like the elemental ones.

Tier 7 and 8 are the universes with beings big or strong enough to create/destroy them.

Tier 9 is the top level and is for the ones with unlimited timelines that are interacting with each other on rather regular basses." The old voice explains calmly with a confident tone.

"Thanks for the explanation, but why did you tell me all this? I don't think that someone like me should know about this, right? "I ask skeptical.

"Your right but you are going to forget it anyway when you return and get reincarnated." He says carefree.

This answer makes me a little sad, as it means that I will forget my old life and the little knowledge about the greater order of the multiverse.

"Its time to bring you back now, good luck in your next life young one." He says as my thoughts grow slow and muddy.

I panic a little as I thought that I'm going to lose all my experiences and memories.

In my desperation I reach out into the void and try to hold onto something.

Surprisingly I feel how my hand touches something.

With a little hope I close my hand around it and try to pull myself to it.

But instead of dragging myself to the thing that I desperately clasp in my hand, I pull it over to me.

As I realize this it is sadly already to late and my mind ceased to work.

After an unknown amount of time I slowly regain my consciousness and open my eyes.

I look at the wooden roof as the latest memories appear in front of my inner eye together with new ones.

The new memories tell the story of a kid named Samuel Grim, an orphan living in an orphanage named Fela Orphanage.

He is nine years old and a smart kid and a loner.

Then realization hit me.

´I'm Samuel Grim!´ This thought rips me out of my trance and I shot into an upright position.

I hastily inspect my body and confirm that my body is the same as Samuels.

Dark short hair, light skin and brown eyes. A thine body build that makes me look older than my peers.

I sit on my bed and try to figure out what happened while subconsciously taping my right index finger against my chin.

After a while I come to the conclusion that the thing that I grasped in this tier 9 dimension is the reason that I retrained my memories and took over Samuel Grims body.

Satisfied with this explanation I lie down on the bed again and start familiarizing myself with the new memories.

I don't feel any kind of guilty from taking over this kid's body and indirectly or directly killing him.

Over the next week I completely adapted to my new life in the orphanage and start to slowly show my intelligence by reading complicate books and explaining things to my fellow orphans.

Through the whole process I kept my emotional distance so to not get attached to them.

My life continues happily as the whole orphanage is now aware of my intelligence, which I use to learn new things, be it through asking for new books or gaining acces to the old looking com
