*Thud*
That was the first sound I heard before waking up. It seemed to be the sound of Victor leaving the room. I slowly got up and checked if he really did leave the room. I gave a sigh of relief, as I now had the room to myself. Class didn't start until another hour, so I had time to get situated. After a quick rummaging through the pantry to steal a snack, I made my way over my closet. In it was the box made out to me Victor had mentioned yesterday. As I opened the box, I looked at the contents inside. Nothing in the box had any previous known value to me. The two main things that stuck out in the box were a letter and a bracer. I opened the letter and read it to myself.
"Dear Freshmen, please equip the bracer as it will be an important tool for your studies and training."
I then analyzed the bracer further and realized what it was for. It was for activating our Stats. Normally we are unable to use them on a daily basis because of a dampener, though that is only for cities and other largely public places. Upon equipping the bracer, it reacted with a glowing pattern of lights emitting from a screen on it indicating it was already tuned for me. After the light show ended, it went back to being a black glossy piece of clothing.
After a bit of sitting around I finally left for class. I walked by the statue in the courtyard with a feeling of unease similar to last nights. As I entered the building and walked towards my homeroom, yelling could be heard down the hall. A small crowd was forming around my homeroom door, I could only imagine who was causing the scene. I pushed myself through the crowd and entered my classroom.
"Well, you obviously did! The timing is just too convenient for you now isn't it!?"
Logdra was standing in the front of the carefully articulate Sheeva. Her face was straight as she stared at the adversary in front of her with a menacing glare.
"You simply just need someone to blame, don't you, Feldheim?"
I turned around in response to the stern voice. Entering the classroom was Ms. Velerouge holding papers like yesterday. Her authority gave enough of a presence for Logdra to pause and pay attention. She made her way to her desk as silence encapsulated the room.
"Now, all of back to your seats. Oh, and those in the doorway if i see you building a scene around my classroom again, you won't get a warning for punishment."
Everyone then dispersed from the classroom doorway. Logdra then made his way up to his seat in the backrow muttering to himself. Shortly after I followed him up the stairs to take my seat next to the relaxing Blitz.
"What was that about Blitz?"
"Well after we left the class yesterday, we went to go see the stadium where the fight was gonna happen today. Turns out the stadium is actually closed for the time being until further notice. So, as you just witnessed, Log hasn't been taking it too well."
"Really? Log?"
"What's wrong with a nickname for him? Besides he gave me permission to use it."

After a moment or two of classroom chatter, the lights were switched off and the projector switched on.
*Clap-Clap* "Now class, I am getting ready to teach you later this week. Now to start us off, does anyone know what we call the thirty-first day?"
The class was silent.
"It's not like I want to be doing this either" She paused and sighed before continuing. "It's called the Day of Ends. Ten thousand years ago we were just nearly brought to extinction but weren't. Now we live better than the humans before us could have ever imagined, because now we have the great gift. We call this gift Stats."
As she finished her sentence, she waved her hands upwards. As she did, all the students in the class began to slowly get lifted up out of their chairs. It felt as if gravity no longer held us. As we floated in the air I looked over at Blitz, he was trying to do flips with the new situation that was occurring. Velerouge then waved a ceasing motion with her hands, causing all of the students to abruptly fall back to their seats. She took a deep breath of relief before changing the projected screen to that of a graph.
"As each of you may or may not know, there are nine different stat variations, please read the graph so that I may save my breath for teaching you this common knowledge."

After I reviewed the information, I thought to myself. What do those in the Mesosphere know about us down here? We shared the same planet but were two completely separate societies, disconnected from each other. Ms Velerouge changed the screen, she no longer seemed vested in the class and was letting the class teach themselves with the presentation.
:
[A Stats Value is determined by the numbers 1-100, the only exception to this rule is the Psycho Stat as it has been proven that it is always has a value of 100.
[The Energy Type has 5 different natures- Base, Fire, Water, Rock, and Plasma. The rarest of the 5 is Plasma.
[A person can be born with 2-6 different Stat Types
[If someone has only 1 Stat Type with multiple values, they are known as a Monotype who specify in a single Stat Type
[Skills are what are used to activate the user's ability to unleash their Stats
[A Stats Value determines the kinds of skills and abilities the user is capable of
[It is impossible to change a Stats Value after birth, no matter what
:
The lights switched on and the projector turned off. Ms. Velerouge then woke up from her little nap.
"Does the class have any questions?"
The newly nicknamed Log raised his hand in response.
"Is it true that a Stats value can't be changed after birth?"
"Other than the exception of a Psycho Stat user being able to alter his other stat values with marginal values, I am very sorry to tell you Feldheim, that it is."
He didn't have his now infamous angry outburst, he instead just grunted and brought back down his hand disappointed in her answer.
"Now as all of you should be aware, a box was dropped off at your dorm rooms yesterday." Ms. Velerouge said with a more upbeat tone. "In that box was a bracer, you all should have brought it with you today."
She paused and looked at everyone's wrists, seeing if any of them failed the task.
"As it seems, you all have the competent amount of braincells to perform a mere feat. These bracers allow you to use your Stats within certain areas of the academy grounds."
She paused once more and began to smile a big smile. It seemed to carry malicious intent towards us, as if she could finally do something she has been waiting to do.
"Alright class! Who's thinks they can face me!?"
