Part 2

The Statues were not made to feel pain, only to serve. Usually without emotion, one can rarely see them develop personalities over time. Crafted from the hands of the Metallurgists and imbued with the obedience to the Kingdom by the Ministers, they come in societal castes. The Pure Statues, who serve the Royal Family directly, are made from the purest of metals, Gold and Silver and such. The Bronze Statue was taken to the Metallurgists, to see if they could fix him.

In this way, the Bronze Statue and Golden Statue were two sides of the same coin, for both harbored within them an intense love that went above and beyond what should have been normal. The Bronze Statue loved the Princess more than anything, and the Golden Statue loved itself more than anything.

The Metallurgist adored this discovery, and impressed with the Bronze Statue's desires, clasped hands with the Statue enthusiastically. "I will help you." He vowed this to the Bronze Statue. After all, the Metallurgist was just doing what was asked of him- he was going to fix the Bronze Statue. And with this proclamation, the Metallurgist began to think...
