Chapter 14

Doesn't anyone have the guts to stand up for themselves?

Are there only two tough guys in my class?

Seeing that the recruits were afraid to look him in the eye, Sim pursued the question while the iron was hot, his tone becoming somewhat menacing.

It's done!

As long as he scares this group of new recruits and lets them know the instructor's power, his training arrangement will become smooth in the future.

Recruit Floris reporting for duty, sir!

Just then, a report sounded not far away.

The crowd craned their heads to see a female soldier with a backpack.

She was wearing her recruit training uniform, so I guess she was a fresh recruit, but I just don't know why she came to the third shift during training time.

Dizzy?

Rico was startled, and his face suddenly turned not very good.

The last time they met, Dizzy told him she was going to join the Lima tennis team and become a professional tennis player.

But now, she actually appeared in the army!

He thought Dizzy would show up here for him!

Because Dizzy liked him, he had liked him for years, and even though he already had a girlfriend, Dizzy didn't give up and always found ways to get closer to him.

This was hard for him; it felt weird.

After all, feelings were something that couldn't be forced, and Dizzy's advances were already causing him distress.

The plot is honest!

Jack had known Dizzy was coming and winked at Dizzy across from Sim.

Here's the file, sir!

Dizzy saw the look in Jack's eyes, and the corner of his mouth lifted slightly before he took a piece of paper out of his backpack and handed it to Sim.

I want to know the reason.

Simm didn't even look at the papers, just asked lightly.

Dizzy Floris, a recruit from Fort Alex in the Western Hemisphere, submitted his request for a transfer to his recruit class last night.

As an instructor, he had the right to agree or refuse, and he chose to agree.

Because Dizzy is physically gifted, has an upper-middle academic IQ, and has a history of working part-time for a communications company, he has the potential to be a communications officer.

Switching teams is as simple as that: as long as you are on the same level and in the same district, and as long as both the original team and the intended team agree, then you can switch teams.

I hear they have the best instructors here, sir!

If you spot this story on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation.

Dizzy knew what she had to say, and her serious expression made her pat on the back perfectly, practically stating the facts.

I'm not the greatest instructor, but this sure is the greatest boot camp.

The corners of Simm's mouth pursed, then his face suddenly changed, and with a sullen face, he pressed himself in front of Dizzy and drank coldly:

Tell me, what qualifies you to join the best boot camp ever?

Snap!

Dizzy didn't answer; they just took two steps back.

She tossed aside her backpack and the application to switch teams, then assumed a fighting stance and beckoned to Sim.

Cool!

Seriously, I'm in love with this girl!

This chick is going down!

At the sight of this, the queue of recruits was again somewhat disorganized, and a cacophony of murmurs followed, even Jack calling out in favor of it.

Come on, sweetheart.

Sim jumped lightly, her face relaxed.

Today's mission was going to be overdone; defeating three recruits in a row was enough for him to shock the rookies.

Sweetheart?

Dizzy's face went dark for a moment, both fists raised, looking for a moment to attack.

There were a lot of nicknames used to describe people in the army: rookie for new recruits and sweetheart for softies.

Ha!

Soon, Diz finds an opportunity to swing and sweep at Sim.

Simm gets in close and fights well, though, and avoids the strikes from Deezy easily, locking up a right hand to Deezy's body.

Just what Sim didn't expect, Diz was flexible enough to actually twist his arm around and end up smashing Sim in the face with his left fist.

Unfortunately, Sims is too 'meaty.'

That punch from Diz was like cotton to Sim; it didn't even make him turn his head.

Next moment.

Sims comes in with a high-speed leg sweep that flips Deez right to the floor, followed by a knee to the neck.

Rookie, get up and get in line. Get in the last row!

It wasn't until Dizzy began to roll his eyes and show signs of fainting that Sim withdrew her hand.

Phew ......

Knowing she had the instructor's approval, Dizzy grabbed her backpack and application to switch teams and joined the line with a smile.

At this point.

Jack saw that Rico, standing to his right, was not very happy.

Gee ......

What a blessing! You don't even want a woman who'll follow you to the death?

Even if you have a girlfriend, then you can still make a p...... friend!

... ... ...

Four hours later, the morning's training was over.

The morning training was easy, so easy that you could say there was no training.

Sim didn't come up with a slam dunk, teaching subjects that everyone knew, like standing in formation, running in formation, and other basics.

Focker, I'd love to take out Sims!

It was stupid. He made us learn to walk all morning. We're not babies!

Be careful, don't let him hear you. He's not to be trifled with.

The group headed to the restaurant, and on the way, the idle chatter was all about Sim.

The dismount at the assembly is even.

Sim also hit a number of people with his teaching stick while on the way to training.

So.

In just one short morning, Sim had become the 'damn devil' in the eyes of most of the new recruits in the third class.

Of these, Ron was the one who screamed the loudest.

Military doctors reset the broken bone and fixed a set of cuff-like pharmaceutical shells so that he could feel no pain and use his right hand normally.

The injuries weren't serious, but he was still wounded after all, wasn't he? Sim actually showed no mercy, whipping him a dozen times with his teaching stick in one morning.

Sims is in the work hall. Take him out if you want to, if you can.

Perhaps you don't realize that Jack almost beat him after you got your ass kicked by him!

Kevin disdainfully disliked Ron while complimenting Jack.

Hearing this from Kevin, the crowd nodded idly in approval.

One only brags and underestimates others; the other is well-liked and has real skills.

It's clear who is stronger and who is weaker.

Fark!

Ron exploded on the spot at being taunted like that by Kevin.

His temper came and went quickly, though, and he stopped talking after a small curse.

After he returned to the team, he heard about what happened while he was away.

It's amazing that Jack, that little one-eighty-five runt, was able to fight that Sims bastard for so long; he's certainly no match for Jack.

Kevin, the foul-mouthed guy, seems to be Jack's little brother; it's better not to mess with him for nothing.

Kevin, forget it.

Just as Ron was shying away, Jack stepped forward.

He walked up and patted Ron on the shoulder and said to Kevin, We'll be comrades in arms later, comrades in arms that we can trust with our lives.

Ron was just too direct, and while that way of speaking can be uncomfortable at times, it's the way a man should be.

Believe me, we'll be friends. We'll need all hands on deck to fight Sim.

Jie Jie Jie.

Join me, Ron!

Take your gift and bring it to my Jack Chief's command!
