Chapter 61: Consecutive Breakthroughs

Immense shock coursed through Tang Mu's entire being as he witnessed the changes within his body.

Through his perception, which was now intricately linked to the blood-red crystal, he observed everything like a spectator, starting with the process of rebuilding his body up to the point of him transcending his former powers.

He couldn't contain his surprise and delight as his body restored the connection to his unlocked Galactic Chakra before exceeding the sub-levels of primary, secondary, advanced, and peak stages of a rank one psionic in quick succession.

Everything was beyond the realms of common sense, as he just allowed the blood-red crystal (crystallized soul body) to absorb the sticky green fluid — and voila, he had reconstructed his body and even accomplished crystallization of the psionic energy in his unlocked chakra space. And in such a way, he had finally reached the peak stage of rank one and arrived at the threshold that barred many from ascending to rank two.

But that wasn't all, and an even more baffling fact was that his body didn't experience any pain or discomfort throughout the ordeal.

He maintained the visualization of the Star God Celestial Diagram that continued working its wonders. It controlled the excess and berserk energies within his body and guided them towards the base of his spine — towards the position of his Base Chakra.

A tremor finally coursed through Tang Mu's entire being after a few more seconds. On cue, the high-quality energy absorbed from the sap of the Elven Universe world tree bombarded the red whirlpool that was the Base Chakra.

The process was as simple as it could be — and with just one barrage, the wave of energy smashed open the bottleneck that stopped many from achieving the level of a rank-two psionic. It produced cracks within the Base Chakra whirlpool, thereby permitting Tang Mu's physical embodiment to establish another steadier connection with his esoteric body in another plane of existence.

"HONG!"

Yet another jolt occurred within Tang Mu as waves of psionic energies from the other plane of existence flooded into his just-unlocked Base Chakra space before washing through the rest of his body. A delightful feeling streamed through him as he underwent another psionic energy baptism that gradually upgraded all his aspects to the primary stage of rank two.

But was this the end of the surprises? Was it the end of the miracles happening within his body after he escaped calamity? The answer was a big NO, especially since there were still a lot of excessive soul and life energies absorbed from the mysterious sap of the Elven Universe world tree gushing through his tissues.

They seemed to achieve a resonance with the psionic energy flooding into his unlocked chakras before triggering more miracles. They mixed and formed chain reactions that pushed his psionic powers towards levels he could only dream about a day ago.

Of course, he didn't lose his calm after all he had been through. He continued practicing with the Star God Celestial Diagram, and everything proceeded smoothly.

Within ten minutes, the psionic energy in his Base Chakra liquified, and he effortlessly achieved the secondary stage rank two psionic.

Fifteen minutes later, the psionic energy transformed into a semi-solid soupy state, and he achieved the advanced stage of rank two psionic.

Thirty minutes later, the same psionic energy within his Base Chakra underwent another tremendous change. It condensed into a giant crystal filling up a large section of the chakra space, and he naturally achieved the peak stage of a rank two psionic.

He was making successful breakthroughs. He was going through the sub-ranks at a pace that would force many others to cry with shame.
