4797 was in fact not expecting for what was coming, for the room had shifted drastically from what it previously was. The walls, ceiling, and floor were now stripped away from their texture and gritty grime that stuck onto them and was now replaced with a smooth wax-like material, colored a milky vanilla white. But that was not all, as the room had grown bigger, now being ninety feet in width and length, and now twenty feet in height. The changes were gradual, lasting for a few minutes until they fully set in.
Viewing the whole thing, 4797's cameras glitched out as it tried to see the shifts in the whole room, and its depth sensors struggled with the elongation of the area. But these affects were only temporary, and with the glitches subsiding, 4797 began looking around its surroundings.
Whatever tried attacking it was now gone, and the chattering of teeth was the only noise that 4797 could pick up. Why it didn't attack when 4797 was in a weaken state due to the glitches- it did not know, but it was grateful that it did what it did, nevertheless.
4797 held onto its firearm tightly as it examined everywhere it looked. It looked around a full three-sixty, yet the monster was nowhere to be seen. That was until a thin line of saliva dripped down its screen, like a bead of sweat, and it wiped it away. Confused as to what had caused such a thing to occur, 4797 peered up.
Upon looking up, a large, skinny figure around ten feet in height was crouched onto the roof upside-down, and had drooping, saggy skin that had no hair. Its top eye lids were stretched far, making it look like it wore a mask as its eyeballs were too small for the sagging eyes. The deformities didn't stop there unfortunately, as 4797 had more to describe the beast.
Its teeth were permanently barred, leaving it have a perpetual smile, and its gums were tar black and loosely connected to the teeth that they were supporting. It had holes of various sizes- small and large- all covering every inch of its body. It equipped itself with three legs, and six toes on each, and only had one, horribly grotesque arm that had the most holes in them.
When both made eye contact, neither side move, nor did they try, as they waited for the other to make the first. Slowly- painfully slowly- 4797 aimed its gun upwards at the smiling beast that looked down upon it with stargazing eyes. The beast tilted its head, clearly fascinated at the new appearance of the intruder that was 4797.
As the both of them kept staring, 4797 finally had the weapon tracked onto the monster, and waited. It did not want to make the first move however, as the monster could most likely anticipate an attack and dodge, leading to a wasted shot. Though what if it didn't? What if 4797 was giving the creature too much credit to its own intelligence? What if it was nothing but a thoughtless, unfeeling organism?
There, it simulated only two options that could give it any meaningful result. It could either wait, and 4797 would be at a possible standstill for as long as its energy could go. Shoot, and the creature could potentially dodge or get damaged. And between those two options, it wasn't much of a choice.
As he would say. "Action is always a risk, but it is also always better than stagnation."
Without any further delays, 4797 pulled on the trigger, and out came four shots of pure energy plasma, and each four of those shots landed.
"KRRAAACHCHCHCHC!!"
The beast reacted as expected. Violent. It thrashed around its one arm around the wounds that was inflicted on its head, neck, and chest. 4797 shot another four shots into the creature, and it reacted mostly the same, though it tried blocking the shots with the single arm.
*POW POW POW POW POW POW POW- CLICK CLICK*
after emptying the entirety of the magazine, it was swiftly put inside 4797's utility belts pouch. As 4797 was in the middle of reloading, the creature had already gotten its bearings and was looking straight at 4797 with its drooping eyes. And it did something that 4797 didn't anticipate. Its singular arm began distorting, as the sound of bones popping and crunching was audible.
The arm began to elongate at an alarming rate, rapidly shooting out in a few feet in bursts, and the twenty feet gap that separated the two was slowly getting closed. Not waiting for the creature to reach it, 4797 blasted the thin moving arm, and only one out of the three shots were able to connect with the flailing arm.
Soon, the arm was now reaching all the way towards the ground, and its hands tried punching 4797 in the abdomen, which it swiftly moved. Again, 4797 dodged two more swings that came at it, and it blasted at the arm.
The shots were unreliable and inconsistent, as none of the shots connected. 4797 was going to shoot at the monster itself, in which it didn't move, though it had to take its eyes away from the hand. It didn't really know what to do, as it just kept dodging swing after swing from the thing and taking the occasional shots at the monster. As the dance continued, it was only a matter of time before 4797 would mess up, and unfortunately, it was sooner than it calculated.
Tripping on its own feet and landing on the ground, the beast finally managed to land a punch on 4797 and pin it down. At first the punch was minimal, and barely did anything to the Patroller. However, that was until the punches suddenly began to accelerate with each punch. The first punch was slow and weak, the fourth was on average to a young teen, and the eleventh was as fast a professional boxer.
The damage was very weak still, but if it were to keep going, those weak punches could be dished out at very high speeds. 4797 could only try and roll away as the monster kept punching, but it just steadily moved its hits. The punches were now beginning to go inhumanly fast now, hitting thirty consecutive punches. Looking at the amount of health it had, the damage that was being set upon it was only point-three, which gave it about two minutes and twenty seconds more left at this current speed.
Like a turtle on its back, 4797 tried rolling around using its backpack as a support, but it didn't work. Not giving up, 4797 grabbed onto the arm and began to add pressure to it. The beast up top hanging from the ceiling reacted with chatter, as it tried to pull away from 4797, but the grip it had on the arm pulled it up with it.
Adding even more pressure, 4797 held on with both hands as it tightened its grip, and the cracking of bone could be heard. The creature was now desperate for the release of 4797, and it started flinging the arm around. The arm contracting sent 4797 further and further up towards the monster itself, and the monster began snapping its teeth at the approaching enemy.
Holding on with its legs, 4797 released one hand and reached for the gun in its-
There was nothing. Looking around, 4797 could see it on the floor a few feet away from where it originally was battered. Having no other choice, it began punching the arm as hard as it could, which proved to be affective as the wrist and ligaments were now either broken or damaged. The monster began to swing around 4797 around like a rope, building up momentum.
Continuing to swing, 4797 held on as tight as it could, and it began to try climbing up the arm. If it was able to make the creature fall and use it as a softener, it could kill the thing upon impact- or at least lethally injure it. Soon, 4797 was close to being able to touch the roof, and that was when it realized what it was doing.
It was trying to swing 4797 towards the roof and bash it into the ceiling. Quickly, 4797 quickened its climb along the arm, and as it looked like it was beginning to start to get close, the monster extended its arm as far as its body could take it, which was only another two feet. It wasn't a lot, but it bought the monster some time to bash 4797 in.
Slowly, 4797 was beginning to be dangerously close to the roof at hefty speeds, it started to focus more on climbing rather than stabilizing itself. This risk proved to be detrimental, as 4797 slipped for every movement it did. And the risk then began to prove t-
*CRASH!*
4797 hit the ceiling hard, as its glass hud dented from the impact. Its right shoulders joint was damaged, its chest was damaged, its right foot was damaged, and it was experiencing several errors from the internal trauma. Though, despite these damages, 4797 still held on strong as its grip tightened even more, causing its fingers to break through the skin and into the muscle tissue. Like an overripe tomato, blood gushed and covered 4797 as it continued to spray all of if its contents.
"KRA! KRA! CHCHCHCH KRA!"
The monster seemed to be desperate at this point, as it stopped building momentum and was flinging around 4797 in the hopes of getting it off. However, 4797 still held strong, and the movement proved to be a detriment as even more blood gushed out of panicking beast. Blood loss would take its hold soon enough, all 4797 had to do was wait and just last it out until the creature would fall.
There was a surprising amount of gushing blood that continued to spray, given how malnourished it looked. And the monster didn't seem to stop or slow down in its flinging. Though it was managing to swing 4797 dangerously close to the ceiling-

A huge chunk of health points disappeared in an instant as the impact left a crater into the ceiling. As for 4797, its chest plate was left with a massive dent, and its hud began to crack and chip away. Its grip was beginning to slip due to the malfunctions and damage to its finger joints. Waiting didn't seem to be feasible anymore, as the creature had just begun to start showing some fatigue. If this were to keep going on at this rate, 4797 would be the first to drop, and that drop would finish it off no question.
4797, too, was now desperate, as it weakly formed its hand into a ball and began to punch the creature with full force. It hit it again, and again, and again, and again and again and again- yet it wasn't slowing further. So, 4797 began to climb again, hoping to reach the main body and land blows there. Though the flinging was hampering the climb, as the speed was making 4797 lose grip.
But despite everything that would impede its climb, 4797 didn't stop. At first, it slipped and went back another two feet. But it still climbed. It wrapped its leg around the arm like it was a rope, and slowly shimmied to the creature.
One push at a time, it held its hand high with the next pull. 4797 then pushed itself up once it managed to found purchase and raised its hand high after stabilizing. It repeated this several times, now being six feet away from the main body. just one or two more pushes and it was able to damage the main body and hopefully manage to make the creature fall.
Suddenly, the momentum of the arm started to slow down, and with it, the appendage began to retract. 4797 was now being pulled up towards the creature faster, which at first seemed to be a good thing as it was able to get closer. But then it soon realized. It was getting closer. Closer than it wanted nor intended.
The maw of the monster eagerly waited for 4797 as the arm continued to pull it up. Quickly, 4797 slid down the arm until its foot reached the monsters wrist, and there it prepared to dodge the incoming attack. The hand was trying to grasp onto 4797's ankle, but the broken bone and ligaments had made the hand itself to be flimsy and barely operable, causing it to be in vain as 4797 kicked it away.
Soon, the monster and the Patroller met, and the head launched towards 4797's neck. sliding down, 4797 dodged the attack as the teeth had closed shut, causing a loud chatter that echoed through the room. 4797 climbed back up and punched its jaw. The monster responded with another bite, but 4797 released one hand and swiveled away. As its neck was outstretched, 4797 had the opportunity to wind up for a punch and swiveled back with a fist aimed to the eye.
The punch landed true, and the creature roared with disdain and lashed out with its arms, swinging its arms. 4797 almost lost its grip and slid, due to the sudden movement. It grasped onto the creatures arms with its own wrapping around it and squeezing it into a hug. It had to make sure that it couldn't move its arm it concluded, as it has proven time and time again that it was the greatest counterbalance. All 4797 had to do was to break its rotator cuff or its shoulder joint to leave its shoulder immobilized. The tricky part was getting near its shoulder in the first place however, as the monster could easily snap at it. But 4797 would figure it out. It always does. That is why it is still online.
Climbing up the arm slowly, the monster turned its head and stopped its rotation, which resulted in 4797 to be a sitting duck. It rotated its head sideways and launched with dripping saliva forming at the corners of its mouth. Quickly, 4797 hit it with a knee to the head as hard as it could, which resulted in it to twist it back from the impact. This made it flung its arm, which then almost caused 4797 to be flung as well.
As it stabilized, it realized that the monster was lost in a daze. 4797 didn't waste any time as it punched away at the shoulder. Swing after swing, it could hear its shoulder beginning to crack. And finally, after two more swings, it heard a loud pop coming from within. The arm then began to elongate with no input from the monster, stretching itself all the way down towards the floor in which the hand hit the floor at an awkward angle. The creature made a deafening roar as it yelped out in a pain it had never experienced before.
"KRAAACHCH!"
The roar glitched out 4797's audio receptors, causing all audio input to be static. The repetitive white noise rang throughout its head, yet it still moved on. 4797 kicked the monster in the head with its steel toe boots, causing the thing to see stars. Over and over again 4797 kicked it repeatedly into the head as hard as it could, building momentum with every kick.
This wasn't the original plan, but this seemed to be more effective. The skull of the beast beginning to dent from the repeating kicks, and with each one, its jaws went from wide and open- presumably screaming in pain- and now was looking to be whimpering. The screams of pain were falling on literal deaf ears, and the monster tried to retaliate. But all of its motor functions were scrambled all over the place from the kicks.
It tried moving its legs, but it could barely even do that as the pain was the only thing it could focus on.
*CRUNCH!*
It tried to move its arm, but it only dangled and swayed side to side as the broken shoulder moved in short distances.
*CRUNCH!*
It stretched its neck out and tried to lunge its head out towards 4797 but was denied as it punched the creature in its neck, causing it to bleed in its throat, and the only noises it now made were its gargles and chattering of teeth.
*CRUNCH!*
Slowly, the energy from its eyes was fading, and the eyes could only look at its soon to be killer with pathetically helpless eyes. Blood poured all over its head, trickling down to the floor like rain drops flowing down from roof tiles. Its sagging skin was now being pooled with blood, as every crevice was filled with plasma. 4797 continued with the blunt damage to the head, now kicking it in the neck for extra damage to the spinal cord. Its eyes rolled up in the back of its head as it was now basically braindead, with it now being just a sea of mush in its battered skull.
It was still alive, however, as 4797 never got a notification to its death. So, it decided to climb its crouched body. It used its bottom jaw as a footstool as 4797 grabbed at the sides of the beast. The legs must've been very strong to be able to handle both the weight of the beast and 4797, and to be able to have it climb it with no problems.
It held onto the glutes of the monster for support as it began to reach out for its feet. It stretched its hands as far as it could to the toes of the beast, and it got a good grip on one of them. Pulling them apart from the ceiling, the feet from the left leg was fully peeled away from the ceiling, and underneath them 4797 could see tiny hairs on the bottom of them, which was akin to that of an insect.
Releasing the foot, the left leg drooped down, and 4797 could feel the body of the creature shifting from the change. Now that one of the supports were gone, the other two legs were working overtime to keep the body from falling, in which 4797 was sabotaging. Now for the middle leg, 4797 grabbed hold of them and tried prying it with the same force it took for the left. Though this proved to be inefficient as now it was much harder to pull them off. The reason for this was visible, as it could see that the muscles on the two remaining legs were now tensed to the point where they had veins shown through their skin.
Still, 4797 managed to have it pried off, and with it being off of the ceiling, 4797 prepared itself for the inevitable drop that would follow. Quickly, it climbed around the back of the braindead creature and waited for the fall to come. And slowly, the foot of the last leg began to show signs of weakness as they were beginning to unstick. 4797 held onto the waist of the monster as the last foot finally lost its grip, and thus they began to descend. 4797 made sure that the back was arched and had the creature in a position in which it would cushion itself upon impact to the floor. If this didn't kill the creature, then it could always retrieve its gun.
Soon, the creature and the Patroller on top crashed landed to the floor- which caused 4797 minor to no damage thanks to the creature. For the monster however...

The front side of the monster was now all mushed together with its innards, and the back was left semi-untouched, with only its back bent from 4797's weight crushing its spine upon impact. It struggled to get up as its gears and motors were weak from intense stress, and upon moving them only resulted in them clicking backwards- like forcing a fan to stay in one position while they were rotating. Still, 4797 tried getting up from the corpse of the Trypohobian, and tried swinging its arms in attempts to assist itself in a push up.
It had to attempt this four times before it managed to sit up straight. The leg joints however moved at a slow and heavy pace, as if 4797 itself was walking through strong water currents. But it where it was going wasn't far, however, as it was only a couple meters away. Lifting its legs, 4797 took the first step in its current step, and almost toppled over upon planting its foot to the ground.
This action was repeated over again, and with each step it risked toppling. The gun was only a hands way, and 4797 lunged forth to its laying weapon. It grasped onto the hand cannon as it dropped to the floor, with every mechanism exhausted from the damages and stress induced upon it. It laid there with only its weapon, and a few feet away, the monster that had caused it little yet major damage.
On the topic of the beast, its level was... cautiously abnormal for its performance. A creature that level would've had 4797 in a dense and solid grip and would've easily torn it to shreds. Though that had not happened, and, in fact, it was quite the opposite. Though its knowledge on 'levels' were quite limited, as they were only based off of fictitious virtual entertainment, sourced from a poor pool of information given by a man that had a suspicious interest in jokes about driving whilst under the influence.
Then again, maybe it was an anomaly in its species- a runt in its grotesque litter. But how could 4797 possibly know that? Deciding on gaining more information about the slain beast that was next to it, 4797 prompted for Identification.
*Trypophobian Mind Breacher [Lvl. 22]
The Trypophobians are psychic beings that are renowned for their abilities. The Trypophobians have two forms. Its true form, which is small and frail insectoid, and has a long thin needle for a mouth in which will inject itself into the preys skin and send them into a comatose like state. Upon being in a comatose state, the form will. The second form is the form of a grotesque, humanoid-like creature with drooping skin, and they always stay glued to the ceiling. They have three legs and only one arm.
Be wary, to whoever is reading. You are not where you think you are.*
...Of course. How foolish of it, to believe that this was a weak link of its species, and its pity was misplaced. Perhaps its true form is stronger than its coma-form. Though, then again, 4797 had a hunch that this was an instance in where the creature would be dead between both worlds. But there was only one way to find out. Now by the means of escape, all 4797 had to do was wait out the affects, as they must be we-
