Editorial Note

Written by Isaac Endyarr, Edited as well as organised by Violet Edwards, Grand Mage of the Tower of Light and Taren City

I, Violet Edwards, have been entrusted with the editing of 'The Biography of Isaac Endyarr' written by Isaac Endyarr. Who, I must admit, is a horrific editor. The initial immense feeling of confusion I felt when gazing upon his 'work' could not be described. The amount of chapters that were chronologically out of place was staggering.

In all honesty, I only really did this due to personal involvement and fascination. Also for any future readers interested in Isaac's life. In some areas, I have been forced to insert external sources. I have inserted such sources due to Isaac's inability to structure his book properly. He has neglected to even mention events that occurred in which he wasn't a part. A disclaimer to some readers, this book is overly graphic. His thoughts —or at least those that he bothered to write down— are beyond words, the only way I could explain to you the manner in which this man thinks is to have you experience it yourself.

Isaac Endyarr —for those unaware— is a SpellSword, a cross between a knight and a battle mage. He is one of many SpellSwords that have no affiliation to the 'Great Order of SpellSwords' or its rival 'The Great Union of SpellSwords' (These may be referred to as their regional names: The Order of Serpentia and The Order of Caeles respectively). These SpellSword families are known as 'Independents' among the Mixed Blood Race (on account of the colouration of their blood, no offence intended). Often Independents undertake mercenary work. All SpellSwords do. In the time Isaac grew up in, the demand for SpellSwords, and as such the price for their services, had decreased exponentially.

If you spot this tale on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation.

In the context of the following, what you must know is that a Governor's daughter had been kidnapped and Isaac was contractually obligated to help the Governor. He, three other SpellSwords and a task force of the Governor's personal Guards were tasked with bringing the girl back home alive while simultaneously killing all of those involved. Isaac would neglect to specify the fact that said involved individuals were cultists until much later.

Any and all edits I have made to the original material have been encased in braces

Other than that, Enjoy.
