Chapter 1: Genesis

Chapter 1: Genesis

Nothing.

...

There was nothing for a long time.

A VERY long time.

An entity formed.

Human-like in figure and the only thing that could differentiate it from the void was a thin, white outline.

Sorry- he. He insisted that I call him a he.

What? He's a deity.

The figure lifted his hand.

A ball of light appeared in his hand, going through a kaleidoscope of colors.

The ball pulsed and then expanded.

The ball started slow, and then exponentially expanded faster and faster.

200,000,000 years later, a screen appeared in the deity's line of sight.

< Universe created!

Please name the universe, local deity. >

A keyboard appeared along the screen when the message was finished.

The deity hesitated for a bit before entering the name into the screen.

< Are you sure you want to name this universe 'Asaka'? Y/N >

The deity, this time, did not hesitate and clicked yes.

The screen closed and it looked around at the void of now-space and said a single word.

"Good."

The god once again held up his hand and a ball of light formed before quickly becoming opaque.

It showed a tired man in his mid-thirties walking across the street to his work.

Above the man's head was a ball of light that was in the shape of the man's physique.

The deity wrapped his fingers around the ball of light which was the man's spirit and plucked it out of the ball as if he was plucking a weed.

The man crumpled onto the cement.

The deity then threw the spirit into the endless void to find a new body.
