Chapter 1

Under the darkened sky of an evening in another world, the plains shifted ever so smoothly.

The two moons that engulfed the blackening sky with their lights were filled with a gleam so bright that soothed many on the surface of this planet.

All was fine and calm, as there were many who lived peacefully in farmlands and in adjacent cities. However, in the crofts of the underworld, there were many who had also been facing many problems, as one such woman was.

In the cracks and crevices of these alleyways that were held in the City Of Voyagers, this woman had been running and running, moving quickly to leave harms way of the child that lay sleeping in her bosom.

And those that had been following her had smiles across their faces, and complete evil in their intentions.

But as the woman ran and ran, she could still not lose them with speed, they were all over the place, appearing from thin air as she dipped and dodged their swipes.

Rearing close to the ends of the district though, something had latched onto her leg, and a small yelp escaped her lips as she desperately tried to get lose from the grip.

A wicked snicker that came from said pursuers. As she looked back to what had grabbed on, she witnessed a shadow resembling a hand that emulated a black mist.

WIncing, she cradled the baby in her arms tightly.

But If she never let go of the baby, how would she be able to defend and protect the baby?

'No matter the cost' she thought.

A life that has not yet started was never meant to live without sacrifices of any sort, thus, kicking the hand off while the onlookers gloomed, smiling with glazed piercing eyes.

She reached out her hand and a flash of a piercing gleaming light had engulfed the whole area surrounding them.

It had given her enough time to find a hiding spot for the baby, and in a basket in an alleyway, was the closest hiding spot she could ever use.

Raising her hand above the sleeping baby's head, she pointed her finger down and up in a specific way as to instill an unknown type of marking on the baby's head.

In a loving manner, she spoke.

"No matter what, do not lose sight of what you wish to live for, fight till you live... Please" With the last words, a kiss on the baby's head, and she layed him down slowly into the basket.

Hearing a creak nearby. She closed the top of the basket with huge fragments of bastket to cover the top, grabbed a random obeject laying around and had started running with it.

Following behind her, there were those that had been pursueing her with intentions to kill and leave nothing behind, leaving the baby to sleep in the basket alone.

(About a day later)

A little girl had been rumaging through some stuff, in her own backyard. looking around for somethings, she had found a random newspaper of this mornings news.

Reading what she could of it, she read aloud: "Bo-fe....Bo? Fort-rest Dee-stroyed?" Without any real practice, she had given up, reading was for nobles, and she was not one to be able to read.

Throwing away the paper randomly, she heard a cry coming from somewhere. Her ears perked up, and her expression changed to that of confusion.

Slowly getting up in the direction of a basket that had rummages of broken baseket lids on the top, she heard the cry of a baby emanating exactly from that place.

With caution, she walked towards the basket, afraid.

She had no idea what was going on, and she was scared, but her curiosity peaked her interest.

Closer and closer she got to the basket as the sound of cries got louder and louder.

She reached for the top of the basket parts and slowly took one of, which stopped the baby from crying.

Looking in, she saw a small baby, but with a closer look, this one had red hair, and a character engraved on his forhead.

The baby stared back, as she did so with confusion, she held out her hand and the baby had moved to grab it.

cooing, the baby had smiled.

But still confused of this occurance, she turned away, to glance at the other exits of the alleys.

No one was around.

While she was still looking away though, the baby slowly whimpered.

She turned back to face the baby, and lifted it.

The baby was covered in a small ragged and clean blanket, smelled a bit, but still held the baby. With a small smile towards the baby, she wandered off.
