Deep below ground….
A large cavern, built out of the very stone that the Haven’s tower stood upon, seemed to stretch forever!
This was Haven’s secret place…you could call it Haven’s Haven…..(lol)
This was where all their most important projects and research was done, not to mention the place was where the storage area for Soulistra’s data was!
In the middle of the underground man-made cavern, a giant pillar stretched from the top to the bottom, measuring a whopping 50 feet, the pillar was black with hundreds of blinking lights and a strange glow emitted from the pillar the pillar was known as the Data Pillar.
The cavern itself was big enough to fit two battleships!.
At the far east end of the cavern an elevator was built-in into the east wall. This elevator reached the surface and was accessed on Haven’s first floor. The first floor of the upper tower that was on the surface held all their offices and the like.
Of course the location to the Elevator was secret only known to a few members of the Corporation. The tower above ground was the HeadQuarters, but the Underground cavern below the HQ’s, was known as the Nest.
The Nest was more than just an area for research the scientists and people who worked there practically lived there, you could call it a home away from home.
The Nest was broken into 4 distinct area’s:
Haven Medical Unit (H.M.I): The H.M.I purpose is to heal anybody injured during a research project, and to help its fellow workers incase they had a little headache, etc.
But what was more amazing they had hand-built a machine that could heal.... Souls and bodies broken beyond repair or well in "theory" no one was brave enough to test it out though.
They also monitored what the effect of digitizing, a soul into data did on the human body.
SoulDevants (S.D): The Unit responsible for creating the SoulDive and the capsules that monitored the player's body.
With these two units research, they quickly realized that, while the players , soul was digitized and brought forth into the Virtual world of Soulistra , the body of the player was like a an empty shell, awaiting the souls return.
And with the SoulDive, any major damage was nullified.
The SoulDive acted like a link between the two worlds allowing easy access and return. The capsules that came with the SoulDive, protected the player's body and made sure the laying position of the sleeping body was comfortable.
Game Managers (G.M): This Unit was responsible for monitoring the game, and setting up special events that the players could participate in. The also were the ones responsible for creating the models for the games monsters and
people.
Coders: They are the caretakers and watchers of the billions of codes that made up the world of Soulistra. They also created the A.I that was the Goddess of Soulistra.
The A.I would greet new players and the like, she also added a sense of religion to the virtual world. She was known as the goddess of souls.... Lous.

These 4 areas all surrounded the D.P. The generator for the cities and Haven’s power was also located on the cavern although it was in a separate room from the rest of Nest.
Everybody thought it would be another normal work day.. but suddenly shouts and yells echoed in the cavern, the sounds and commotion coming from direction of the elevator!
One female professor who was reading some work notes looked up from her work as the yells and shouts came closer to her Unit , the H.M.I.
Her name was Carla, and she was the one in charge of the Unit.
Suddenly Carla gave a yelp of surprise as the next scene unfolded before her eyes, the thought of reading her notes vanished.
A group of medics and security rushed around the corner and entered the lab, an MSP hovered in the middle of the group.
One of the medics suddenly approached Carla, the medics expression was twisted in worry and fatigue.
“Carla! we need your assistance! we have a patient that is beyond the cities hospital medical care, only your units medical equipment might have a chance at saving this boys life!” The medic quickly explained to the flustered Professor.
Carla shoved the panicked medic out-of-the-way and ran towards the MSP, the medics and security around the MSP moved aside for her.
Carla tok in a deep breath at the sight that greeted her eyes.
“….!” she gasped.
The boy looked to be around 16 years of age, a mop of black hair now matted with blood and sweat from the boy’s body hung limp, against his deathly pale skin.
The boy’s right arm was twisted and mangled beyond recognition, a severe gash ran across the boy’s chest now clotted with blood. Both of his legs bent the wrong way and his left arm was twisted as well.
Carla looked at medics questioningly, one medic spoke “The boy was hit by a truck, the truck driver appeared to have had a stroke and died losing control… you can prob guess the rest.”
Carla’s expression darkened, “My labs regular equipment can’t help him but..there is one option…..its the Nano-Soul Tank! it’s designed to repair bodies broken to this degree..but it has never been tested its only a prototype! If we combined this with a SoulDive, the boy’s Soul can enter Soulistra while his body is being rebuilt and repaired that way he won’t suffer any more pain than he already has…” she explained to the gathered group.
The medics and security felt hope yet doubt at the same time.
The medic who had spoken earlier looked back at the boy… suddenly making up his mind if there was a chance he could save this boys’ life then so be it no matter how risky or slim the chance was.
He suddenly looked up and spoke a determined look in his eyes, ” Professor Carla…. If what you say is true!….then.. we leave this boy’s life in your care! he is beyond the help of us regular doctors”.
Carla nodded, and she responded turning around to her other unit members “Activate the Nano- Soul Tank!”
