Carla intensely watched the data flowing across the blue hologram computer screen.

What seemed like days had only been a few moments, so many things had happened in such a short time! Her mind was still reeling from the random events that had taken place only moments ago.

The medics and security had left shortly after bringing the boy to her Unit.  After that her fellow Unit members scrambled in a mad dance to get the prototype up and running. The quickly transferred the boy from the MSP into the Nano-Soul Tank,  his body now floating inside the green liquid that held the N.S Tank’s healing properties.

Carla glanced up from the glowing blue screen, at the sleeping boy, wires and tubes stuck out from his body, feeding him his body the nutrients it needed as well as injecting a steady stream of drugs that kept the boy in a hibernating state of sorts.

A specially designed SoulDive was also equipped with the machine and was now on the head of the floating comatose boy.

The SoulDive on his head was a sleek black colour a blue visor covering his face and gave off a soft blue glow in the green fluid. The SoulDive was more like a helmet that covered his head, thin blue glowing wires were attached to the back of SoulDive helmet. The wires fed data to the computers that monitored the boys status.

Carla shook her head, she brought her gaze to a man in a white lab coat like hers and spoke.

“Elido!, have you gathered any background information on the boy?”

Elido was a close friend of Carla’s, if you needed information he was one who could get it. He had what you would a Hack-master god!

Elido was a 30 years old man, he had a rather tan skin tone, brown spiky hair and green eyes. Elido was 5.4 feet tall, and slightly plump.

Elido gave a grunt and looked up from his work at Carla.

Carla was a 25 years old, she had beautiful red long hair like and blue eyes, she had pale skin from the lack of sunlight, her body was thin and fragile looking, she was slightly taller than Elido.

Elido responded back,  ” Eh…I do, I was rather curious about our little patient…. What I found is rather depressing…”

Elido glanced at the boy pity in his eyes.

” This kids name is…. Ryuu Velis……”

Carla’s eyes widened as she heard the name, her face became twisted with emotions.

Sadness, pity,shock,and…..love.

Long ago when Havix was being built, there was a rather famous family back then…The Velis.

This family was not rich nor powerful..but what they lacked made up for  kindness and generosity.

As the city was being built a terrible storm had come, A Hurricane!.

The city had not been prepared for this and many lives were lost that day. Despair had sunken in like an anchor sinking in the sea.

When all seemed lost, the Velis took charge, this family helped the people of Havix  in so many ways, they fed and helped the homeless and took care of the injured  when no one else offered help.

What would have taken years, the kindness and love of the Velis family restored the will of Havix’s people.

Despair became hope, fear became courage, anger turned into willpower.

The city of Havix recovered from the storm stronger and wiser.  The Corporation,  Haven, grateful and full of deep respect, promised the Velis family that they would forever watch over them for as long as the Velis  bloodline existed .

As  Haven grew from a   small company into, the present day Corporation, they kept the promise.

In the Year 2020, Haven was just beginning to build the city that would be named  Havix , the unnamed hurricane hit them with its full force.

A few days after the storm passed, the wails and cries of people echoed in the morning sky….a deep atmosphere of despair took hold. People walked around the rubble, like mindless zombies their eyes full of loss and empty of emotion.

Year 2021, The Velis family had helped so much that year, the family’s house was one of the few buildings that was not a total ruin, the Tower of Haven was still being built at this time as well. The family became of beacon of hope, a lighthouse that guided the lost souls to land!

As the months passed by, the people of Havix and the Haven Corp. recovered, the city was slowly being rebuilt and repaired.  This when the Haven Corp made the promise.

Year 2023, a terrible accident had happened, a fire broke out at the Velis family home! It had happened at night,  one of the candles that offered light had been knocked over by a strong gust of wind and started a fire…. the Velis family slept on, not aware of the danger….

The news of fire spread and soon a crowd of people gathered determined to save the ones who had saved them!

The fire crew desperately tried to put out the fire,  but the flames burned on. The suddenly a woman covered in a blanket, her back on fire holding something burst out of the doorway of the family home!

The firefighters rushed towards her, their eyes full of worry.

They caught her, just before she collapsed,  she looked at the them her eyes glazed over in pain… she was dying…. with  her last breath she revealed what she was holding it was a young boy, she spoke her voice harsh and full of pain.

“I am..his..mo.ther…..I..please…take..of..him….he..is the…only one..left alive….please…….”

And with those words, the light from her eyes left a single tear falling down and dripping onto the unconscious boy.

Year 2027, five years after that tragedy the boy , named Ryuu grew up, at the age of 13 , he was allowed to live independently. Haven gave him a condo and silently watched over him. Ryuu was a silent and quiet boy, he did not socialize with people much and prefered to play games.

Year 2030…present time…

Carla walked over to the N.S tank, placing her hand over the glass of the tank.

Her eyes brimming with tears, a blaze of some inner fire burned within her gaze….

Her gaze resting upon the SoulDive that covered his head and she silently whispered…

“I won’t let you die…..Your father saved me….and now…..I will save you….!”

Her heart heavy with emotions, suddenly beat faster.

Carla turned away from the comatose boy, a determined blaze igniting her soul.

She walked over to Elido, who was staring at her intensely.

“Elido….prepare another SoulDive and Capsule…I’m going to-”  before even finished her sentence Elido smiled and pointed towards a door that was near the N.S tank.

” Ha….I know you too well…..I guessed as much once you heard who the boy was….So I made some preparations before hand…go Carla… don’t worry, me and the boys will watch over the kid’s reconstructing.”

Elido said in a gentle tone.

Carla smiled gratefully, and walked determinedly towards the door, her gaze glancing at Ryuu, one more time before she entered.

” I will find you in Soulistra….I promise!” she whispered.
