Hey everybody, Magnus here.

We've made it to the end of the first week of Skill-Eater, and oh, what a week it's been. More people have been following along with Edge's adventure than I dreamed possible when I started writing those first few words, and I can't tell you how happy I am to have you along for the ride. I can't stop smiling and am hypermotivated to keep turning out those pages.

I just wanted to let all of you know how deeply I appreciate your support during over the week, especially everyone who took the time to click follow, rate, or review, along with all of the wonderful comments and questions you've sent my way. We already hit all five of the secret bonus chapter milestones, way faster than I expected. I don't have any more bonus chapters to give out, but I'll try to run another event like it sometime before too long... oh who am I kidding? We just hit such a major milestone this morning that I'm giving out one final bonus chapter, schedule be damned.

That's right. Thanks to all of your help, I woke up this morning to see that Skill-Eater hit #1 on Rising Stars, meaning that one of my long-term goals as an author is finally complete! In celebration of this gigantic, unexpected milestone, I will give out one final bonus chapter in just a few minutes.

I also wanted to put in one last observation. For this story, I tried to weave the worldbuilding into the first arc (and the long form explanation of what is going on is coming soon). I know that not everyone loved this approach (so I put an optional infodump into chapter 1 at the bottom). I will think long and hard about exactly what to reveal how early in the story, so consider that part to be a work in progress. I really appreciate you letting me know what worked for you and what didn't and I will use your feedback to improve the story and continue to grow as an author.
