"I saw a bird today
Upon that good summer haze
I saw a bird today
It felt like I was in a daze
I saw a bird today
The men riding four score and three wide
I saw a bird today
They killed the men and women side by side
I saw a bird today
The village burned with duress
I saw a bird today
I stand without my dear mothers caress
I saw a bird today
And I watched it fly away"

"Why is it that I wrote of the horrors of our world, yet by the same line the wonder of it? Since when did we gain good without bad?"- The Bard Opries shortly before his death
------------------------------------------------
The day ended and lead into one anew, the Mitocrasis, once more awoke with a yawn that was more like a growl, and once more stared around disinterested before its gaze upon its 'child'. It prodded the child up and about, it was time for it to hunt itself.
Mitocrasis are a very quick grown species. By their third day past birth, a Mifus would be able to hunt with guidance even some of less dangerous, but still a threat, sort of prey.
The previous days ritual continued almost the same, save their destination.
Instead of the clearing of the afore mentioned day, the pair arrived at a part of the mountains large slope. The ground was slanted, footing hard to come by, however, a Mitocrasis was a far better tree hunter than anything. The Mitocrasis carried the skeleton up as it climbed the thick trunk of wood, and sat it upon a grand branch eyeing it. Thus the two waited for the first prey to appear.
They waited, but a moment before a Delis, a sort of large rat, scurried to a piece of fallen tree fruit, nibbling cautiously. The Mitocrasis glanced at the skeleton, motioning it to attack.
The skeleton once more arched its back, the same position it was taught the day before, however it knew not what to do after and the Delis ran after finishing its meal.
An almost sigh sounding breath crept out from the mouth of the Mitocrasis, and a rather irritated look creased onto its features.
It chastised the skeleton, though the skeleton understood nothing of it, attempting to show it how to pounce and go for the kill. Several times it leaped towards where the Delis was and pretended to kill something. After this, it motioned for the skeleton to do so.
The skeleton leaped, and landed on its skull, now slightly stuck, thus garnering further irritation from the Mitocrasis.
It was going to be a long day coming for it, wasn't it?
