Someone inside of a ship POV
“Hey, you guys I feel like going home.”
I turn to look at Isis and Anansi. Isis gives out a glare towards Anansi and yells, “How about we destroy that planet! It is worthless. I will make you guys citizens of my home planet how about that.”
I ignore her. She is doing her how my planet is worthless spill again. She did it last time I wanted to come home. Over a few billion years ago. Well, for this planet it has only have been a millennium. I turn towards the Anansi and ask, “What about you? How do you feel about us going home once again?”
He gives out a sigh. “*****, you might be disappointed in them once again, but I bet this is the last time. I have a game. That will make this planet a better place.”
I glare at the giant spider. This doesn’t seem like good news. I have done a lot of things to keep the peace on this planet and he is saying I failed again, but it is weird. He is usually on Isis’ side and wants me to destroy the planet. He also knows I love games. Should I hear his offer? I tap one of my fingers on the rail.
“I’ve always have been on Isis side on wanted to destroy this planet. And I will have my wish if three kids don’t become the ruler of this planet. I will allow you to train two of them personally.”
This doesn’t sound like a game at all. Training people is my specialty. Why wouldn’t I take this deal. There must be a hidden catch. The kids are worthless. And no matter how much I train them. They would achieve nothing. Anansi always hated this planet because he thinks this is my weakness. I have helped these people more than anyone else.
Turning away from both of them. “What is the catch spider?”
He replies, “Nothing. You can check them from right here. I have marked all three children. They are exceptional in both personalty and skills.”
I scan the entire planet and looked for the three children. Wow! Exceptional. That is an understatement. These conditions doesn’t seem fair.
Isis growls. “Humans aren’t worth our time. Why do you guys keep playing this game? Good humans are 1 out of billions. There is no point in keeping them alive because of those numbers. My planet is the only one that needs protection and we should care about. The rest needs to die.”
I roll my eyes and ask Anansi, “I’m supposed to train the two siblings, right?” Anansi nods his head.
I try to transport away, but Anansi stops me. “You didn’t let me tell you the last condition for the game. Tell all three children that you will help them after they become rulers. And if any of them become rulers and agree with that term. It should be up to them to change the world, not you. Even helping them now is too much, but I know how much you love this place. I will allow you to help these children grow, but they must stand on their own two feet.”
These terms are acceptable. I can’t hold this planet's hand forever. And this is their last chance. I can see Isis’ tolerance for this planet is at 0. I wish she met my wife. Maybe then she would give this planet a lot more leeway. The moment I leave from here, she would destroy it. This might be the most important game this planet has ever experienced.
I look towards the spider once again and ask, “Anything else?” Anansi shook his head no.
“Oh, before I go. Call me, Shadow. Isis when I am on the planet. I don’t want to hear that name ever while I am on my home planet.” I walk over to Isis and give her a pat on the head.
I snap my fingers and appear on earth.
Isis POV
“What are the odds that we get to destroy this dumb planet.”
Anansi sighs, “The odds are if things don’t go exactly as plan 95% chance that we will destroy this planet in less than 30 years. Heck, even going exactly as plan 60% chance this planet will be destroyed.”
“Then what is the point of this little game? Let just destroyed this place and be done with it!” I yell.
Anansi sighs again. “**** loves this place too much for it to be destroyed. Not having him fight for it might make him to depress to move. Don’t forget they are his progeny. Not only that, but he really loves his wife and children. He wants to see them on these humans. He comes here for a reminder of her. We have to save these people for his sake. If it wasn’t for this game. He might just destroy them all in a fit of rage. And if that happen he would never recover.”
***** known only a few wonderful humans while living on this planet and yet instead of trying to remember them. He wants to save the rest. I wasn’t here when he fixes them, but I have kept tabs on them ever since I gain control of this ship. They have been a huge disappointed. **** have done everything in his power to fix them and the fixes were good. I would never dream about the changes **** did to the planet that they would ever have conflict. But here we are, conflict on a planet that shouldn’t have conflict.
I don’t see the benefit of helping these people. They might be the worst in the entire multiverse. We are helping them when we could help others. But then who cares. Most living creatures are trash. And the only ones that need to be protected are from my home.
Shadow’s POV
I can go met up with the siblings right now or I can meet them an hour later. Heads, I meet the kids now tails, I walk around the city. I really want to look around. A millennium ago, this place was a vast forest. My people have achieved a lot since the last time I was here. Their skyscrapers touch the clouds. They haven’t been around for 500,000 years and they are have achieve so much. There is no way there is a problem with this planet. Isis talk about her home but it took them 2 millions year to achieve this level of technology.
If you spot this story on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation.
Before coming here I did sense they aren’t hardcore gamers like her people but that is fine. We are a warrior race. Her people didn’t have fairies or control the elements. But they achieved peace, which is almost impossible. But I need to stop thinking.
Flipping the coin. Come on tails. The coin landed heads.
Darn, well lets find the kids.
I look around. The kids must be around here somewhere. I spot two children running. They run into an empty warehouse. With two grown men following them. I saw their fairies. I see one light user and one dark user. But that isn’t surprising what is surprising is that their fairies are black and white. Who the elements must love them.
I follow them inside of the warehouse.
Look at this place. The moment I walk inside of the warehouse it is neat and tidy. I can tell this place hasn’t been used in years, but you couldn’t tell. How can a civilization that will maintain their infrastructure this much be bad? Trash shows how well a civilization is developing. If someone else walk into this warehouse, they would think this place is brand new. There is a lemon sent in the air. Someone washed it just a few days ago. Even though it will be destroyed next week. I swear those two overreact to everything.
I turn to the little kids sitting in a corner, shivering. They were also malnourished. The two adults are yelling at them. I walk in their direction when I notice their fairies again. This time the little human fairies aren’t pure black and white. One of them is blue and the other one is yellow. Actual they were switching colors. The boy’s fairy is turning blue to black. The girl’s fairy is turning yellow to white. I rub my eyes. This is impossible unless that stupid spider trick me. But why? Let’s make sure.
I walk towards the children and ask, “Kids what color are your fairies?”
Everyone turns towards me. One adult shouts, “Who are you?” I ignore both of them and keep walking towards the kids.
“Hey, I’m talking to you. Are you a civilian or do you have a rank? We found the fairy kids first this is our capture.”
There is no time dealing with morons. I stand before the small, weak kids. They are staving. This shouldn’t be possible, but lets ignore that right now.
I crouch down to their level and ask once again in a quieter voice. “Children, what color are your fairies?” The older sibling, the sister, squeezes her brother while glaring at me.
The younger boy replies, “I don’t see your fairy, you are a bad guy like them.”
Older Sister POV
The man who crouches in front of us touches his head. I think he is trying to understand my brothers’ words but how can that be. He doesn’t have a fairy, and that makes him an elemental. Our masters.
But he seems different. The way he walks, holds himself, and acts. I watch him ignore the other two elementals that should be his superiors. Instead of thinking of them as that way. He treats them as nothing but dirt.
They aren’t worthy to be in his presence. This man is scarier than my parents. He is scarier than even the elemental elders. He feels as death has entered the room. Please let this be a nightmare. I close my eyes, hoping he would disappear.
Shadow’s POV
“Hey, I’m talking to you don’t ignore me. I will attack you.”
Why can’t flies take a hint? There isn’t anything this bug can do to me. But what is surprising is the girl's reaction to me. Unlike everyone else, her reaction is the strongest. She is crushing her brother while being in that corner. She wants nothing to do with me. This is surprising.
The boy is only curious, which makes sense he is a young child. He was told elementals were the enemies but I’m not acting like the other elemental. He a student of the dark.
Boom! A rock hits me from behind. I roll my eyes as one adult hits me with a small rock. Rocks seriously. I have to stop myself from laughing at this pathetic attack.
“I will hit you with something bigger if you don’t answer my question.” As he summons a bigger rock.
“Hahahaha!” I turn towards them. “Flies, do you want to play with a snake?”
Little Boy POV
Boom!
Both my sister and I stand up. A gaping hold appears on a wall inside of the warehouse. For a brief instant, I saw colors of a rainbow shooting past. The elemental that was talking to us in a friendly manner snaps his fingers and a huge snake falls to the ground. My fairy hum sounds in my ear. Basilisk! The snake was a high-ranking fairy.
The elemental user walks up and pets the Basilisk. Oh, he isn’t an elemental user but a fairy user. But where did he come from? Our parents own the two strongest fairies on earth. Two different elementals. One water and the other fire. This Basilisk ranks a tier higher and also is a high rank as well. The weaker ones are dull and the colorful they are, the stronger they are. This one represents the entire rainbow.
Both of the elementals take a step back.
“Who are you?” My sister asks in a soft, concerned voice. She squeezes me even tighter. She is squeezing so hard that it was making hard for me to breathe.
“Little girl, kindly release your younger brother. I am no threat to either of you. You are choking him. Also sorry for my late introduction. You guys can call me Shadow. I live in darkness and disappear in the light.” He gives a little bow as he answering my sister's question.
My sister stop squeezing me so tightly but she still is holding me. She must have notices how she was hurting me. The one elemental user yells out, “Fairy user, impossible. They found only two in the area. And not one so powerful. Where did you come from?”
“A spaceship.” He replies in an instant. He snaps his fingers and a flame whip, lightning spear, wind sword, a water ball, an earth cube, and an ice crystal appears before him. “I think everyone is misunderstanding something. Don’t compare me to the rest of you. I am above everyone on this planet. You only lives because I allow it. This isn’t my fairy. This small snake can’t compare to my fairy.”
All the elements disappear. The man who calls himself Shadow creates an evil grin. “Little get rid of these two flies.” He snaps his fingers. The snakes sliver on the ground at impossible speed. One of the elemental user runs away. There other one summons a lighting spear and throws it at the snake. The snake change colors. It turns to a pure yellow color, and it absorbs the spear. A moment later, the spear flies out of the snake's body and hits the man, causing him to fly into the wall.
The other man turns around and yells. The snake easily catches up to him. It wraps his tail around the man. My sister forces her hands over my eyes. I can’t see what is happening. The man is yelling louder. I force my sister's hand off of one of my eyes just in time to see the snake fling the man in the air and through the ceiling. The snake then picked up the man who hit the way and fling him in the air as well.
The man called Shadow laughs. “Don’t worry about them. They are going to land in the ocean. Come over here and tell me your names.”
My sister tries to take a step back but forgot that we are up against a wall. I can look up at her and watch as she shakes her head.
“Hm, this might be difficult. Children do you like stories and animals.” I nod my head yes. “No! Why don’t you go away?” My sister yells.
“Sister, he saved us why wouldn’t we give him a chance?” I ask.
The room grows dim and the snake release a mist in front of us. The snake changes colors, reflecting off the mist, creating a giant dog.
