THE START PART 3 SHEN

Hevenly Earth Realm

I was sick of it all. I’ve endured such ridicule for so long I couldn’t take it all. I wanted to end it all. I slipped my head through the nose. I was about to kick the chair away when I heard a knocking sound at my door. I took my head out of the nose untied it from the ceiling. I hid it under my bed. I opened the door. It was Yun. She was as tall me and we were friends ever since we were kids. She had her blond hair in a ponytail. She was so beautiful. The most beautiful in the whole school. “Come one. We’re going to be late for school.” She said. Here I was going to end it all and she’s telling me to go to school. “I’m not going.” I replied to her. She looked disappointed. She crossed her arms and said to me “yes. You’re coming with me” she was so stubborn I wasn’t bothered to argue with her. “Fine let me get changed.” I put one a green shirt and I combed my hair. If I was not chosen today I will kill myself.

I walked with Yun until we got to the cliff. She jumped off. And fell on a dragon. I jumped after her wishing I wasn’t caught by a dragon and fall to my death but it didn’t happen. It was like fate wanted me to carry on with this depressing life. My dragon was black and was had Yun’s was yellow. It was like the more colourful it was the more joy in your life. I was void of any while she was full of it. I cursed my life. I jumped of my dragon and plunged all the way down and I saw it the academy. It wasn’t grand. It was the size of a car park. There was an opening the size of a mini-cooper. I wanted to miss and get squashed on the granite roof. Unfortunately I skimmed the edge. The floor was fast approaching I smashed onto the ground. A knee, fist, and foot were on the ground1 cracks cobwebbed the ground. The dust cleared and I stood up I moved to the side as Yun glided in like a leaf. I walked over to the platform and placed my hand on the orb. It glowed and suddenly turned green. Yes I’m not crippled. Green is the colour for earth, red for fire, blue for water, grey for wind and purple for lighting. I was amazed. I was finally chosen. I turned and followed Yun. She was a wind type. We walked all the way to the testing area and she walked up to the dais time to test her magical affinity with the wind. It was a stone slab ten meters high and five meters wide. She placed her hand on it and closed her eyes. It glowed grey and the number 38 appeared. That was good it was at least level 2 and at the most a level 3. There are 10 levels for the affinity with the elements. Level 1 is from 1-28, 2 is 28-38 and so on until 118.

I walked up and Yun was said to me “you should try something else you’ll just get yourself embarrassed.” Those were the cockiest words she had ever said to me. The fame must have gotten to her after all she was the genius of the geniuses. I was enraged. I walked up to the dais. I placed my hand onto the stone slab there nothing happened. I focused my sinta and pushed it into the slab. It glowed green. I looked at the results. It was 40. I turned I was a level 3. I walked right up to her “guess I didn’t” I looked her right in the eye and said “where to next.”

She led the way to the body strength test. There was a cube of rock 3m3. You had to smash it with all of your strength and the teacher will give you a number and that is your physical strength. I should be stronger than Yun since I am an earth mage but she could still be stronger. I walked right up and I punched it with all my might.

BOOM! The sound echoed throughout school. “87” the teacher said with a hint of shock. I wasn’t even 20 when I last tried yesterday. What could have happen while I was a sleep? How could I have got so strong within such a little time period. It seems like all the suffering I went through was rewarded by this sudden growth in strength and magical affinity. I walked to the second part of the strength test. I was to be hit in the chest by a metal staff until I screamed out in pain. I took of my shirt a started. Bang it hurt. I was hit again and again 99 times until I gave out in the 100th. “99”the man said I utter disbelief. “How can you withstand so much when you gave out on the 13 literally yesterday?” the man said.

It was results day the best score we got was carried over and I had the 9 highest in the entire school from the bottom all the way into the top ten, all that suffering paid off. And to top it off I was accepted into the entrance exam for San ad one of the world’s greatest academy.
