"Sakura!"
A girl with hairs tie into a pony tail and a sailor scout uniform on, turns her head slightly towards the owner who had just called her name. She blinks her almond shape eyes and the tip of her lips rise upwards.
"Reiko, good morning." She greeted.
Running towards Sakura was a girl who was dress in the same sailor uniform as her. The girl had wavy brown hair that reaches her shoulder. A pair of melons rise up and down as she huff and puff towards Sakura. She wore an oval shape glasses that cause her to have a nerdy look.
"Neh Sakura, I just can't seem to get over the fact that we are going to graduate soon." Reiki sighed.
"Why? You don't want to graduate?" Sakura asked with a laugh.
Reiko pouted, "That's not it. I'm just not ready for the real world. I don't even know what I'm going to become. I just wrote whatever on the paper sheet that the teacher asked us!"
"Oh, you mean the one where you wrote that you want to be an Otome game creator?" Sakura asked.
Reiko nodded her head before pouting once more, "Yeah, it's that one. I just don't understand why I got called in to talk with the teacher. He even gave me a long lecture on how it is not a suitable career and blab blab blab."
Sakura gave a gentle laugh before turning to look ahead. She herself was not ready for the future. Her heart tremble at the thought of entering into a world she did not know. She had read countless news on how difficult it was to survive in the harsh economy. She was not ready to enter the adult world.
The two walks side by side as they headed toward the school ground. They both talk in loud voices that made the surrounding students turn to take a glimpse of them. Noticing the students' stares made the two giggled before lowering their voices.
The moment the two of them enter the school ground, a head full of black hair caught Sakura's attention. The head of black hair belong to a frivolous looking young male. His hair was ruffled around messily as if he had just woken up. His collar shirt had been unbutton, revealing some naked skin. He was surrounded by a crowd of females who were chattering nonstop.
Reiko elbow Sakura's side, causing her to winced.
"What are you looking at?" Reiko asked.
She followed Sakura's eyes and her view ended up at the young man. She nodded her head in understanding before a sly grin appear on her face.
All of a sudden, the male suddenly look towards Sakura's direction. Their eyes met for a split second before she shyly looks away. He breaks into a charming smile and waves his hand.
"Sakura!"
Sakura could feel her face heating up but she pales when she notices the glares directed at her. The females surrounding the handsome male had send her threatening glares, making her shivered.
She shift her attention away and grab a hold of Reiko's wrist. Without saying anything, she drag Reiko with her, acting as if she did not hear her name being call.
"Sakura! There was no need to run away! You need to show those girl who's Boss!" Reiko said.
Sakura did not like trouble. She shook her shoulder and thought quietly of the male from before. His deep voice echoes in her head. Just remembering how he smile at her made her face flushed.
"Sakura...Sakura!"
She snaps out of her thought only to be greeted with Reiko questioning stare. She felt herself expose and denied, "I...I do not see him in that way!"
"Sakura, there is no need to lie." Reiko dryly said.
She quickly added, "Besides, I didn't even mention anything about you liking him. Why are you denying it so much?"
Her face turn as red as a tomato. She was just about to retort when she heard the bell ring, signaling the beginning of class.
"I gotta go to class. See you at lunch." Reiko smiled.
Reiko had a different class from Sakura so they both separates into different paths when the bell ring.
As Sakura walks toward her class, she thought about the scary girls glares. It was scary being glare in such a way. Just as she was thinking about them, her mind wanders back to the handsome male. His name was Yu, a male the same age as Sakura. They had the same class together in the last two years, but had never interacted. It was only because of a certain incident that Yu began talking to Sakura.
On that day, Sakura was on her way home from school. She was halfway home but suddenly remembered that she had forgotten something from her class. She hurriedly returned to her classroom before the room could get lock. When she opened the door, she was startled by a loud slapping sound.
Yu was standing across a crying girl. Her makeup were ruined due to her excessive crying and Yu's cheek was bright red from the slap. He didn't say a word as the girl miserably screamed, "You're an asshole!"
She then rushed out the room crying, pushing Sakura aside. When the girl was gone, Sakura awkwardly stood in the same place, debating if she should go get her missing item. The young male looked up and his eyes met with hers. The two of them stood in silence before she noticed his red cheek.
"Um....I...oh!"
She clumsily reached for a clean handkerchief out of her pocket and grab a water bottle from her bag. She soaked the handkerchief in water before handing it to the male. He had a look of surprise before breaking into a mesmerizing smile.
It was the end of the day and the sun was beginning to settle down. Streaks of reddish orange clouds were covering the sky and small lights penetrated through the dim looking classroom. The moment he smile, the lights seem to glowed in the room. His smile made her heart clenched and her face blushed unconsciously.
"Thank you."
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sakura looks up at the clock when she heard the loud bell for lunch. Her classmates got out of their chair and exit the room one by one, but she continues to stay in her seat. She usually waits in the room for Reiko to come pick her up. Then the two will head together to the cafeteria. She waited and waited, but Reiko never show up.
"Should I go see if she is still in class?" Sakura muttered to herself.
She stood up and walk out of the room. The moment she enter the hallway, she notices how eerily silent it was. She turn a corner and was startle when she came face to face with a group of girls.
She gasped, "What are you-UMPF!"
Her head felt a pain from behind before she feels her vision turn black. She face a world of darkness as she closes her eyes.
When her eyes open, she was met with the same darkness.
"Where am I?" She wondered. She was put in a tight spot, there was barely any room to move. Was she lock up in the cabinet? Where was she? She tried touching the wall facing her but found no opening.
She muttered, "How do I get out of here?"
After thinking in another moment of silence, she knock her hands against the wall and called, "Hello, is anyone out there? Can someone please open the door for me?"
There was no replies. It was a cramp place and the hot weather was making her unable to breathe. Her clothes were soaked in sweat and she continues to sit there throughout the hours.
"Is anyone searching for me? Reiko? She should notice that I'm gone by now." She thought.
It was scary being in the dark for hours. She didn't like it. She could hear the students chattering in the distance, but no one seem to hear her helpless calls. Her hands were most likely bruised from her constantly hitting the door. More hours pass by and she feel the temperature cools down. The school hallways were more silent than ever. It was a creepy silent, and she did not like it. Was everyone away from school?

She open her dry mouth and a coarse voice sounded out.
"Is anyone there?" She asked.
No one replies to her. Then images of horror movies began to pop out of her head. She was scared. Just when she thought that she was going to have a panic attack, she heard footsteps coming closer. There were a few girls voices that sounded familiar. She shrug the thought off and only pound the door, asking for help. Sakura heard a girl snickered in contempt. Another laugh, making a comment about how stupid someone was.
The door flew open and Sakura fell as her knees met the cold floor. She look up, only to see her surrounded by a group of young girls. It was dark, but not dark enough that makes her unable to see the others features. The girls turned out to be the group who hangs around with Yu.
"What-why are you guys here?" Sakura stuttered.
A girl with curly blonde hair steps out. She looks at Sakura in disdain before letting out a laughed, "Stupid girl, why would we be here? It is because we were the one who locked you up in the cabinet."
Sakura's eyes widen in surprise. She took a step back only to realize she was up against the cabinet.
"Why?" She whispered.
"Why?" The blonde hair girl repeated.
"Because you dare to seduce our Prince Yu!"
"Ah!" Sakura cried out.
The girl had pulled onto her ponytail. It hurts and Sakura trembles. It was scary. Everything was scary. The dark room, the menacing glares, the violence, the threatening phrase, and the eerily silence of the school.
"What are you-Let go!" She cried.
Sakura pushed the girl away, making the girl tumbles back. She stiffened up when she notices the cold glare belonging to the blonde girl. Without another word, Sakura pushes the girls surrounding her away. They were caught off guard and were pushed back. Sakura used this moment to run past them, only to feel her legs go weak. She had been sitting in the same spot the whole day. Her legs were cramp and they useless. She took a deep breath before running out the room.
"Hey! Don't let her get away!"
Sakura glance back only to see the girls running after her. Scare, she run through the dark hallway. She was not an athletic girl and could feel her burning lungs. It was dark and she could not see her way. The only thing she heard was her loud heart beats and the shouts behind her.
Help. Anyone...please help me!
Sakura did not know why those girls were doing this to her. She had never cause problems for anyone. It was the first time she had ever come across such a nightmare.
She took every random twist and turn, finally heading toward the stairs. She knew where this was heading, but she couldn't find any where else to run to. Her legs force her to climb up the stairs and she opens a door that should had been lock. It was the door to the school rooftop.
Just when she tried to turn back, she came face to face with the girls from before. They were blocking her path and she had no choice but to open the door. It was a door that leads to no where.
"Why?" She repeated the question once more.
"Why? Do you need me to repeat myself! It was because you dare to go near Prince Yu!" The girl shouted.
Sakura shook her head and replied, "I have never-"
"Don't you dare lie!" The girl interrupted.
She wave her hand towards the girls behind her and they ran to grab hold of Sakura. Sakura tried to defend herself, pushing and pulling just to get out of their grasp. Her back lean against the cold metal fence. The metal fence was there to protect anyone from falling off the rooftop. But they are useless as they only reach towards Sakura's waist.
Sakura tried to fight back, but it was impossible. There were too many girls fighting against her and her arms were now being held tightly onto. She couldn't move and look nervously at the girl coming her way. The blonde hair girl seems like a demon as she walk slowly toward Sakura. When the girl was only a feet away from Sakura, she stops. Her eyes stare into Sakura before she growled, "Stay away from Prince Yu. You yourself should know that he does not belong to you."
Sakura gulped, "I know...but do you know..."
She hesitated for a second before her eyes turn firm. She finished her question, "...that he also does not belong to you?"
The girl eyes slanted and she gritted her teeth.
SLAP!
Sakura bit her lips to not scream. It hurts! It was painful! But no matter how much it hurts, she suddenly felt a need to not cry out to the pain.
"You're so strong, are you?" The blonde hair girl laughed.
SLAP!
Sakura could feel her eyes turning moist. Why? Was it so wrong to like Yu? Just as she began to doubt herself, she recalls his beautiful smile. The smile he gave her that day.
"Sakura!"
She could hear the friendly voice that always call her name.
No. It was not wrong to like Yu.
"Why...why would you do something like this? I'm not even someone important to Yu." Sakura asked.
"You're not. Every girl who tries to get close to Yu receive the same punishment." The girl retorted.
When she heard the reply, Sakura wondered to herself just how many victims had fallen to these girls bullying. She couldn't help feeling sorry for them.
"So, have anything change from doing this?" Sakura asked.
"What?" The girl asked in confusion.
"I say, have anything change from this? After chasing these girls away, have Yu ever like you in return?" Sakura clarified.
Sakura herself was surprised at how tough she sound. She was a timid person, and at this moment, she was trembling in fear. Yet, her question was full of courage.
Although it was dark, Sakura could see the veins appearing at the girl's face. Without warning, the girl grab onto Sakura's shoulder, pulling her roughly forward. The other girls grasp on Sakura's loosen and they let go of her.
"You don't know anything!" She screamed at Sakura.
Her face was close to Sakura and Sakura's ears hurts from the screaming. Sakura tried to get out of the girl's grasp, pushing the girl away. She pushed the girl as hard as she could, causing the girl to stumble back. She slips and was about to fall but her friends catch her.
"You-how dare you!!!"
The girl eyes had turn red due to craziness. Sakura grip tightened on the metal fence, fearing the girl's next action. Her friends saw the girl's abnormal attitude and was about to stop her. However, they were too late. The girl had reach for Sakura and screamed, "You should just die! You! You don't know anything! How would you feel if the man you are chasing after ignores you time and time again! No matter how much you tell him you love him, you know that you will never be his important one. I tried so hard! So hard, do you hear me? And yet, he always pays attention to the one who don't even try! You don't even try and yet he look at you!!!"
Sakura's eyes widen when she felt her feet off the floor. She felt her body falling backward and the last thing she saw was the blonde hair girl making an odd face. The blonde hair reach out her hand towards Sakura, but Sakura was too shocked to register what was happening. She feel her body colliding with the wind. Then her back hit against the hard surface, turning her vision back to darkness.
"Not this again." She thought.
"I really hate the dark. It's scary."
The last word that left her lips were, "Yu..."
