Lore tidbits:
-Origin. Nifala was originally a barren, uninhabited world. The goddess Era found it after a long pilgrimage. She and her angels spent 100 years transforming it into a lush world, perfect for human habitation. She then constructed the Tower at the End of Time, which serves as a funnel for souls from Earth to gain new physical form and enter Nifala.
-Moon. Nifala has a moon named Kalamere. Kalamere is every bit as verdant as Nifala itself, and it appears a vibrant green with silver oceans. Era lived there with her angels, but would often descend to Nifala to converse with and give counsel to the humans. She spoke freely with them, and would famously grant an audience to anyone who asked her.
When Era was killed, most of the angels retreated to Kalamere, with only a stubborn few remaining on the surface and continuing to carry out the goddess's work.
-Colonies. There are eight Shores of Awakening on Nifala, places from which newly reborn humans emerge. This constant source of fresh inhabitants means that each Shore has spawned a colony around it. The humans have been pushed back to the coastlines due to increasing monster attacks, and most of the interior remains unexplored. While the colonies are sparse and spread out, they have been able to maintain seafaring trade, and keep in contact with each other largely thanks to the Message skill, which allows for communication over great distances.

Humans on Nifala are born sterile, and currently not one child has been born there. Era did not directly explain the reason behind this, but it was most likely a conscious decision on her part to limit her subjects in this way. The only way to ensure a steady population is to continue receiving settlers from the Shores of Awakening.
-Delven. All monsters on Nifala come from a single source; Shalahai, Mother of Monsters. She is a great and terrible demon said to have once been a servant of the goddess. For many years she dwelled in her underground kingdom, the Delvendeep, to hide from Era's gaze. There, she quietly bred new offspring. When she no longer needed to fear Era's wrath, she cracked open the earth and sent her children spilling forth from a thousand wounds in the world.
These monsters have overtaken a great piece of the Nifalan interior, where none dare tread. This is known as the Delvenwood. Collectively, the Delvendeep and the Delvenwood are simply known as the Delven.
-Kamdar. Kamdar is the only interior colony on Nifala, and is also the only colony containing humans from before the first settlement twenty years ago. The Kamdarians are famously elusive, and no one quite knows where they came from, although they were clearly not native to the world to begin with. The people of Beivey have had some small amount of contact with them, and have only one thing to say on the matter: leave them be.
