Chapter 1419 The Elite Club

CHAPTER 1419 THE ELITE CLUB

After they left, Penny and the others all wore glum expressions on their faces. She ventured to ask in a soft voice, "Hubby, the Harbors are really coming here to get us. What do we do?"

"Everything will be okay. I'll take care of it!" Nathan reassured.

Although she was still incredibly concerned, she did not say anything more.

She and Benson left for work while Queenie went to school.

After that, Nathan dialed Colin's number and inquired about the situation.

His subordinate reported, "Sir, I did as you ordered and sent Fip Harbor back to Mayberry and told them to discipline him better. I did not dare reveal your identity without your permission. However, that is exactly why the Harbors seem disgruntled at what happened to Fip. Noel Harbor, his father, has brought a group of men here to stir up trouble. Sir, should I call and let the Harbors know your real identity?"

"No need. The Harbors did not teach their son any manners, yet they still refuse to repent. Now they're insisting on crippling me and make my wife their slave. I would like to see if they're really as untouchable as they claim," Nathan answered coldly.

At this, Colin realized that Fip's promise for revenge had seriously pissed off Nathan.

In a low tone, Nathan continued, "Keep an eye on the Harbors for me. Let me know as soon as they move."

"Yes, Sir!"

By that afternoon, Noel had already arrived at Channing.

At the same time, a group of rich young men from the Elite Club came as well.

The Elite Club was an organization founded by a group of young men from rich or influential families. Normally, these young men gathered together to have fun, invest and talk about their businesses, or pitch ideas about businesses.

The president of the club, Mitchell Bright, was enraged when he heard that his vice-president, Fip, had his legs broken.

If they did not do anything about it, the Elite Club would become the laughingstock of the century. Nobody would be willing to admit they were members of the club to anyone.

Thus, he had no choice but to bring a bunch of thugs with him to Channing. Several of the other members of the club accompanied him as well.

Upon arriving in Channing and hearing about how Noel was here too, he decided to host the older man at the Swan Hotel.

Smacking his chest proudly, Mitchell told Noel, "Mr. Harbor, there's no need for you to get involved in a small matter such as this. Leave this to us. We'll handle Nathan Cross and Penny Smith!"

The rest of the Elite Club members chimed in, "Yeah, exactly! Mr. Harbor, leave this to us!"

Taking in the young men present, a smile appeared on Noel's face.

He knew that each of these young men came from prominent families, and their capability was nothing to laugh at.

"Fip is lucky to have friends such as you. Alright, if you insist on seeking justice for my son, I'll hand this matter over to you."

With that, Mitchell raised his glass in a toast, grinning. "Don't worry, Mr. Harbor. We'll definitely make them pay dearly for what they've done. Now, a toast in respect to you, Mr. Harbor!”

In response, the other men hastily brought their glasses up for a toast too.

Feeling gracious, Noel accepted their toasts politely.

At that moment, when the elites of Channing heard about Noel's arrival, they swiftly came over to meet with him while bearing all sorts of gifts.

They all wanted to butter him up as everybody knew the next president was likely to be Boris Tucker, whose wife just so happened to be Jess Harbor, Noel's sister.

With the Harbor family soon to be the relatives to the president of the nation, everyone wanted to get in their good graces.
