My battle has ended. I finally have avenged my family and friends. I do not regret the path that I have chosen. Well, maybe a little. But, that doesn’t matter now because I am going to die.
Do you want to know who I am?
Well, my name is Ryuu. I’ve been born in one of the strongest clan in the world, the Ninx Clan. The Ninx Clan was hated by too many people. If you ask me why, well I will tell you that it was not because we were cruel, it was not because we were aiming to be the rulers of the world (which we did not), it was because of pure jealousy. So, when I turned 9 the tragedy of my life happened. My clan was slaughter, by the clan’s most powerful enemy, the Meisx Clan. I still remember how my mother died trying to protect me. I remember her last words before she died..... “do not cry, always smile”….. But, my mind could not accept my mother’s last words. I didn’t want my mother to die, and less the way she did. It was too painful for me to see it.
Since that day, I swore vengeance.
“The death of my family…the death of my clan…they will pay for what they have done” I said to myself
But just by saying it does not mean that I will become true. So, day in and day out I trained, but I knew that it was not enough. With the little martial art I knew I was training. Because I was too young, my clan just taught me the basics. One day, I stopped. I started crying because in the bottom of my heart I knew that I was weak.
“I cannot… give up, but…. I am…. too weak. I’m sorry…mom”
But then I noticed that somebody was watching me. When I got to see the one who was watching me, I cried, but this time because of happiness. It was my clan leader, Nesrock. Nesrock can be considered one of the most powerful person in the word. He was the only one in the clan that got to become an overlord, which was the strongest that you can get by training. But in the day of the tragedy happened, he wasn’t there. I always wondered why. But still I believed that now that he’s back, he would help me to avenge the clan. I was happy. But, when I got closer to him, my face changed. He seemed like he was going to die anytime soon.
“Finally…I found a survivor…Ryuu…come here fast” He said
So I hurried went to him, but the moment I got close I was paralyzed.
“Sorry...Ryuu...these last years…I’ve been between… life and death….I…got…betrayed…and injured…by my best….friend…he…poisoned…me…I…endured…the poison…for…years…but…that poison…could even kill…a…god…I…will…die soon….I….am…so happy….to see….that…you….survived…you…were…one of…the talents…that…we…had…in the…clan. It is…a pity that I…will die… but… my death…won’t be…in vain …I…will…give…you…all…my…memories…”

I started crying while receiving his memories, because I knew that I would be alone again. I was wondering how he could give me his memories, but when I was receiving the memories I understood that it was one of the skill that people that reach the power of an overlord. After he finished he said to me.
“I…will…give…you…one…more…gift”
Suddenly I got blind. It lasted for 10 minutes, and when I could see again, I saw my clan leader death with a smile on his face. I properly buried him and I thanked him for everything.
“I will avenge my clan” I said before leaving.
Thanks to his memories, I understood what the last gift that he gave was. I understood why I got blind for a period of time. It was because he gave me the Conqueror’s Eyes. You just can obtain these eyes by an overlord forfeiting a part of his life to create the eyes on the person.
After that, I trained day and night. Knowing that I was the last of my clan. Knowing that only me knows my clan’s techniques. Knowing that there is a vengeance pendent. I train without rest, without smiling, but with results.
After 15 years I became an overlord. I was now an adult. I was 6 feet tall. I have grown muscularly and as my clan leader, my weapon was the twin swords. I was overjoyed, I finally could fulfill my vengeance. But I knew that it would not be too easy, so I traveled the world to find people that hated the Meisx Clan. It took me 13 more year to make my own army.
“Mother, Nesrock…Today is the day” I said while crying a little
My army and I went to Meisx Clan, and we started a war. My army started facing the Meisx Clan. People dying was all that I saw. But at that moment I did not care, I was too focused on who was in front of me. The Meisx Clan leader, Brabantio. He was an overlord too. He just look at me and then he rushed at me so we started the fight.
This war was 3 years long. The last man standing was me. Well, I tried my best to keep standing, but I knew that I could not so I feel on my knees. Knowing that I was going to die because of my injuries. My last words were.
“Sorry, mom…I couldn’t smile at the end”
After saying those words, everything went to darkness.

“WAHHH” “WAHHHHHH”
I was crying. I didn’t know why.
Somebody held me, and that person started feeding me with her breast
“Don’t cry Ryuu. Mommy is here”
So it seems that I was reincarnated. For some reason, I have my memories intact. Then, I remembered my mother’s last word before she died
“do not cry, always smile”
I started crying again, and I promise to myself that from now on I will smile
