With all the things you've seen, you're leaning toward using most of the Firebird parts. Perhaps with a custom torso, or repairing its current one, you haven't quite decided yet. But it may be too good an opportunity to pass up.
For now, you take some time to gather up and look over the remainder of your loot. Besides the Firebird and weapons, there are the Badangs and Bogatyrs, with Tendou getting one of each. After piling them up, he uses that small scanning device to pull their info as well.
Not that it really matters, they're trashed. Most of the readings are garbled from any integrated computers and sensors getting pulverized by fire in the battle. All in all, you'd be able to dig out a few of the internals that didn't sustain as much damage.
Looking through... There are two weapon feeds – for loading ammo into handheld weapons, like the one in your right arm. One ammo storage, one fuel storage, two heatsinks, and miraculously, the Badang's main engine, which only sustained moderate damage before it went down.
You might also be able to pull off individual armor plates that didn't sustain direct fire, and attempt to use them to patch some of the holes in your own, not that the armor is very good...
Besides those possibilities, the two mangled frames are basically just scrap metal.
“Mmm...” Tendou hums after you collate the list for him to check. “Yeah, not much left of those, huh,”
Let's check the last one.
“Sure.” Following your advice, you leave the pile of loot outside, and return to the factory. You walk carefully around the increasing human activity at ground level, and head into the ray frame storage room, where your last frame still stands. It's the one on the far right side of the line, which Takashi disabled with his plasma sword. The cockpit hatch is still open, while the insides are all melted from the extreme heat.
You wait a little while longer for Tendou to climb all over the dead Bogatyr and get its scans. Covered in a sheen of sweat, he climbs back into the cockpit, flopping into his seat and sighing. He then takes another long drink of water. “Damn it's hot out...” he complains, before finally plugging in the device so you can look over the scans.

Description
Benil
Ballistic
1000
Cheap, handheld assault rifle, ammo fed from frame's internal storage.
Stroyuv
Rocket
20
Cheap rocket launcher, mounted on left shoulder. Ammo fed from frame's internal storage.
So, it looks like the internal damage destroyed the reactor, engine, and main computer. That's unfortunate, since you could have used some of those. Besides that, the rest of the frame is in pristine condition. That is, if they won't let you trade it in for more custom parts. That's hard to say, since it's not in as good condition as the others. If not, it would give you a substantial amount of armor you could strip and reuse...
We should check if this one can be traded in or not.
Tendou continues to peer closely at the readout for some time, before he finally responds. “Yeah.” While you start walking, you continue to put your thoughts into words, explaining things for Tendou to understand.
I've been considering trying to swap into a larger size frame. It will give me more leeway to work with, and looking through my records, the newer frames tend to be larger. It will be easier to change parts with those larger frames in the future.
He considers that until you arrive back at the factory console where Tachibana is still standing, directing a multitude of people around. He climbs out, ziplining to the ground again, and waits briefly, until she has some time for him. With a few words, he passes off the scanning device, and she plugs it in to check the information herself.
Another short conversation passes between them, before he nods a few times, and returns.
“So, it turns out the reactor and engine are actually the most expensive parts...” he sighs. “Without them, she'd only give me one custom part in exchange for it. Besides that, we're actually going to have to carry all our loot back to town to sell it. Or use it,” he adds after a beat. “They don't have any of the equipment to do that here.”
I see. That will take a few trips. I suppose trading in the Bogatyr would mean one less frame to carry back.
“Yeah,” he nods. Then, “I want to see what everyone else is doing. Maybe there's an easier way to transport everything.” You completely agree. Shado had all sorts of transport vehicles, those would be much more efficient for transport than carrying it all by hand.
You search around briefly, finding Wayne first, out at the front of the factory. His Cowboy looms over the fallen Thor, while the pilot himself stands atop the frame's chest, looking back and forth across the melted sections of armor.
Moving up beside him, Tendou opens the cockpit and waves down.
“Yo!” Wayne shouts up at him, while he's dropping down to stand on the Thor as well.
“Hey,” Tendou calls back, picking his way up onto the chest with careful steps. For once, they're still close enough that you can hear their conversation. “I was going to head back to Shado. Is there any good way of bringing all this stuff?” he asks, waving a hand over toward the pile of frames and guns he stacked up earlier.
“Yeah, a transport truck. I'm still waiting on mine, they should be here in a bit.” He thinks for a few moments, rubbing his chin. “Since you wouldn't have one yet, you should be able to rent one in Shado.”
“Good to know, thanks. Guess I'll get going now.”
“Sure. Good working with you, Strider.” The two shake hands, then Tendou comes back.
“Sounds like we can get a transport truck in Shado,” he explains once the cockpit is closed again. “So we'll need to make at least one trip back on foot first. So...” his eyes squint faintly in thought. “Is there anything we need to do before we head back?”
You consider that. You've looked through all the loot and put some thought of the changes you want to make. You'll have some time and travel to work out the rest of the details, and you'll probably have to come back at least once more, either with a truck or on your own. But first, is there anything else do do before the first trip back to town...?
