Chapter

Hendrix still held the towel in his hand, its soft texture carrying a faint, pleasant scent. Thinking back to Noelle's angry expression earlier, he couldn't help but smile as he walked out with the towel in hand.

With Hendrix causing such a disturbance, Noelle lost the mood to continue showering. She quickly rinsed off a few more times before putting on a bathrobe and stepping cut. To her surprise, Hendrix was still there, and his two suitcases were plainly placed at his feet.

Noelle's expression immediately darkened, but before she could say anything, Hendrix spoke up, already stuff in your guest room, so I can't fit my things in

"There's

Noelle frowned. But then, she quickly remembered that Dylan had indeed stayed here before, and it seemed he had left some of his personal items behind when he left.

Left without a choice, Noelle could only walk over to the guest room and take Dylan's clothes down. She was prepared to return to her bedroom with those clothes in hand when Hendrix suddenly stopped her again.

"Where are you planning to put those clothes?"

"In my room, obviously."

"No," said Hendrix without hesitation, causing Noelle to narrow her eyes.

"I don't have much stuff, so how about we just put mine and yours together?"

Noelle knew exactly that was his plan all along. Without hesitation, she interrupted him, "What are you thinking? Don't forget. Dylan is my boyfriend now."

After Noelle said that, Hendrix fell noticeably silent.

At first, Noelle thought he was about to snap. After all, in her memory, Hendrix was definitely not someone who would just swallow his anger. Moreover, she had seen him lose control before.

He was ruthless, crazy, and even cruel. But to Noelle's surprise, after watching her quietly for a moment, Hendrix simply smiled faintly and said, "You're right."

With that, he took his two suitcases and started walking toward the guest room.

Noelle

le was caught off guard by his indifferent attitude. However, soon after, Hendrix stopped and turned back

to ask her, "What should I put for the address here? I need to buy some medicine.'

His voice was calm, returning to his usual composed demeanor. But in contrast to Noelle's somewhat forceful tone earlier, it made him seem almost pitiful.

Noelle pressed her lips together and watched him for a moment before finally turning to the living room and handing him the stomach medicine from the medicine cabinet.

"Thank you." Hendrix reached out to take it.

Noelle didn't look at him again. She simply turned and returned to her room.noveldrama

Dylan's things, which she had carelessly left aside earlier, were not scattered. The neatly folded clothes had fallen into a messy heap.

Noelle looked at the mess, feeling inexplicably irritated. She was about to grab a cigarette when she remembered that Hendrix had thrown away her cigarette pack and lighter. Though it wouldn't be hard to buy new ones, she didn't bother.

Instead, she found a box and began packing up Dylan's things. Once she was done, she heard a knock on her door again.

Visibly annoyed, Noelle turned around. "What is it this time?"

"Do you want something to eat?" Hendrix asked.

Noelle opened the door and frowned at him.

"I accidentally made too much pasta. Want to join me?"

Noelle had originally planned to refuse, but this was the first time Hendrix was cooking, and she felt a

sudden curiosity. So, a little while later, she found herself looking at a huge pot of pasta.
