After my punishment Jason came by. Curious I asked him, “Why are you here?”

He responded, “I just got an assignment that is perfect for you to get some experience. You’re gonna break into a prison and collect a certain item.”

“What!? My job is more than killing people!?”

“Quit being a smart-ass.”

“Ok, but really why a prison?”

“Hmmm, unfortunately I can’t tell you too much because only senior villains can know about  the item. The most I can tell you is it relates to the Church of The New Genesis and the item in question is important.”

“What is our standing with New Genesis and why prison?”

“We are fully against them, their fundamental philosophy contradicts ours. Also, about the item, I can’t tell what it does or its purpose. We are heading out asap and after the job you will come back here to continue working under Seel. So get your equipment and headout. I’ll be in the car.”

With that I go to my room and get my equipment and head to the car where I see a very tense Jason with Seel.

“About damn time, get in now!”

“Oh, what’s the rush, we never talk.”

“Leave me alone, hag.”

During said conversation, I get into the car. Immediately, Jason floored it and sped off.

“What’s the rush? Why are you so hostile to Seel?”

“I envy you, I really do. Because of my ability I can see the real her but what is worse is that she can use her ability in other ways and it really gets to me. Worst part is that she knows my triggers.”

A sense of pity formed on my way to prison.
