When I awoke, I opened up my eyes and saw the stars above me, with two white moons hanging overhead. I then heard the crashing of waves and the smell of salt water. When I sat up, I noticed that I had been placed on the edge of a cliff facing the ocean. Behind me was a forest and in front of me the ocean. On my right-hand side, towering mountains, stretching past the clouds and lining up in a perpendicular line to my body, deep into the horizon of the land. On my left continued the cliffs and forests, cutting off the land from the sea for miles and miles.
The cool breeze from the ocean air caused me to shiver. That was when I looked down at myself. I had a clean looking pair of boots on my feet with nice fitting jeen pants covering my lower half. My upper half was covered in a loose threaded shirt, covered by an unbuttoned cloak.
I judged that it looked to still be a few hours until dawn. The warmth of the sun would be a welcomed sight after just experiencing the relentless cold gales from the ocean. I could almost feel my bones beginning to freeze, and the clothes coving my body offered no protection from the cold. I would have to find some shelter if I was to last until dawn warmed me. However, after I had picked my body off the ground to walk into the forest, I heard a strange noise.

Immediately after that a blue screen appeared before me.

Confused and startled, I jumped back and looked around, but the screen would always follow my line of sight. I then began to remember what happened to me.
'I died.'
'Now I’m here, in some gods game?'
I then started to get angry, but then I sobered up. I needed to focus. If everything around me and what happened to me is true, then I’m in danger and I could die. I cant let my anger control me right now. Not until I can find some place to be safe.
That was when I took a look at the screen again. I looked just like a screen you would see from a video game. I then became curious. This screen looked just like a game window that I used when I played a few VRRPG’s back on my world.
“My world. Huh……never thought I would hear myself say that.”
I then turned my attention back to the screen that was floating two feet away from my face.
“So this is the menu right? So does that mean I can just click on one of these to learn more about it? Stats. Lets see this one first.”
I then tried pressing my finger on the stats icon on the menu. When I did, a new screen opened up in front of me.
Name Unspecified Race Human(Divine Bloodline Mix) Class None Sub-Class None Level 1 Title God Candidate
HP 100 MP 10
Vitality 10 Endurance 6 Strength 5 Agility 3 Willpower 10 Intellegence 10
Unused Stat Points 0 Skills None
It really did look just like a player’s status screen from a game in my world.
“hmmmm…….ok….If I follow video game logic, then that means my health is related to my vitality. So 1 pint in vitality = 10 HP, which makes sense mathematically. And I guess I could presume what endurance, strength, and agility are. Endurance would probably be how fast my HP recovers over time. Strength would be, well, strength, and agility would be agility.
I’m not sure why my name is Unspecified. ..……..what if I can choose my name? Well, I’m kind of used to my old one so I’ll just stick with it.
Hmmm….my stats didn’t change when I made that decision. Do I have to say it out loud for it to change?
Ok then. My name is Jonathan.”
Immediately after I said my name my stats changed to include my name. Satisfied with my name change, I went back to looking at my stats.
“Alright, now if I’m following game logic then Willpower and Intelligence would be related to MP, which I’m guessing is mana and mana usually corresponds with magic. That actually sounds pretty cool.
Ok. So, those two stats probably relate to something like mana pool and mana regeneration. Usually that would be impossible because magic doesn’t exist, but that god did say magic does exist here so I’m just going to roll with it. Although, if there truly is magic here in this world, then that means that I can use magic too. Interesting. First good news I’ve had all day.”

I quickly got excited with the thought of being able to use magic, but I sobered up just as fast when another gust of wind tor through my body, chilling me to my bones.
The wind also made me start worrying about my stats. Mostly because I don’t know what is considered strong in this world and what is considered weak. I also started to become more mindful of my surroundings and the dangers that could lurk in the shadows. I did not want to die from something stupid and cease to exist. If I have to play that god’s game, then I am at least going to try to survive and win!
My anger started to swell again at the thought of that god putting me here in his game, but I quickly stamped it down.
“Being angry about it would not help me currently. I was a smart guy on Earth and I can’t let my anger run wild in a world with death at every turn. I needed to focus.”
Before I closed out of my status screen, I started to wonder what the title meant. I tried clicking it with my finger and, like game logic, it opened another screen with a description.
God Candidate: Blessed by God to have the opportunity to be a god, but only under very strict requirements. Also blessed with the ability of eternal youth(Unable to die from old age).
After reviewing it, I backed out of the screens until I was faced with the menu again.

I then clicked opened the Divinity Store. When I did a screen popped up from that god.
Welcome to the Divinity Store!
The Divinity Store is my gift to you players to help you in this game. Enjoy!
After closing that god’s pop up a new screen popped up.
Divinity Store: Create, edit, or purchase anything.
Two functions Available
Design Log Models
Divinity Points(DP) Remaining 1,000,000,000
I was shocked! Not just by the function of the store but also the large amount of points! It was an insane number. I tried to stamp down thoughts of a funny movie talking about one billion dollars from my mind as I turned to focus. I quickly clicked on Design log function to see what it was all about.
N/A
It turned out a little underwhelming. Then I tried the Model tab.
Pre-Designed Models Random Models New Creation Board
I then clicked on Pre-designed Models and when I did a screen with hundreds of options poped up. The first few shocked me enough though.
Skeleton 1 DP Undead 2 DP Goblin 4 DP Human 5 DP Ogre 8 DP Sprite 10 DP Fairy 10 DP Hobgoblin 20 DP Lizerdman 25 DP Troll 30 DP Dryad 30 DP Wolf Beastman 30 DP Cat Beastman 30 DP Bear Beastman 35 DP Fox Beastman 40 DP Tiger Beastman 45 DP Dwarf 45 DP Lion Beastman 50 DP High Elf 50 DP Dark Elf 55 DP Dragon Beastman 80,000 DP Vampire 300,000 DP Demon 1,500,000 DP Angel 2,800,000 DP Dragon 100,000,000 DP
The list just kept going. It was incredible! If what this store stated is true then it looks like I can create anything, including other people and beings!
My mind was racing. This was incredible!
I then back out and looked at the other two tabs I could choose. I guessed that Random model would choose one at random for me from the list earlier, but I was more interested in the New Design board. I clicked it.
Welcome to the New Design Board! What would you like to create?
Once I clicked the New Design Board, a massive space opened up in my mind and that message rang in my ears. But I didn’t know what that space was for.
However, immediately after I opened the New Design Board another cold wind blew through my body, chilling me.
‘I wish I had a warmer jacket like the one I had in my world.…..’
After I thought that, in the massive space in my mind, a jacket, looking exactly like the one I had at home appeared in the space with some numbers off to the side.
High End Jacket Rename Defense 2 + - Cold Resistance 50% + - +
Divinity Points Required to make 5 Time to Complete 00:30
Create
The Jacket looked just like the one I had at home. I didn’t understand the +/-‘s but I’m guessing it was to change its stats. I tried hitting the plus button on the cold resistance once and some things changed.
High End Jacket Rename Defense 2 + - Cold Resistance 51% + - +
Divinity Points Required to make 5 Time to Complete 00:33
Create
I was intrigued. I then kept pushing the plus button on the cold resistance to see what would happen.
High End Jacket Rename Defense 2 + - Cold Resistance 100% - +
Divinity Points Required to make 10 Time to Complete 01:00
Create
This time I hit create to see what would happen. I looked at my divinity points and noticed I had 10 less and in 01:00 I heard another ding.

High End Jacket has been created successfully. Item automatically moved to Inventory.
I then opened up my inventory and only saw the High End Jacket in it. I tapped the jacket and it appeared in my hands. I immediately put it on and found that the cold wind could not get through my jacket. I was nice and toasty. I was even surprised that it fit me perfectly. I almost felt custom made to my body. It was incredible.
With this new function I then proceeded to make new pants that were cold resistant along with some cold resistant gloves. I also found out that the + function at the bottom of the description meant that you could add new stats to it. These stats could be anything you wanted.
I then tried experimenting with the gloves. I tried to add the function of untearable, or the spell fireball to them, but when I did the cost shot up to the thousands. In the end I was fine with the gloves just being cold resistant.
My next experiments were to see what else I could create with my New Design Board. I tried making a car, but I couldn’t because I didn’t know the inside parts of it. If I created it, then I would have only created the metal shell of the car.
I then tried to make a house, and when I did a green outline appeared in front of me. I tried to move away from it but it would always follow my sight. When I looked over at the trees the outline moved to the trees and became red. The button that said ‘Create’ was also greyed out when it turned red.
From my understanding of games, I decided that this was a function that allowed me to place the house I wanted to create in whatever area I wanted, as long as the outline was unobstructed and green.
Seeing this I decided to make a house on the cliff to get out of the wilderness. I was protected from the cold winds from my clothes, but I still felt having 4 walls and a roof around me would give me a sense of security. Not a big house though, I don’t want to stand out, but a small looking shack of a home with one room. I used basic wood for the walls and roof and floor. I added a door and made some windows with some glass facing the sea. In essence, I made a plain box with a triangle on top. It almost looked like what a child would draw.
After I was done, and I had a green outline for it, I hit create. What happened though, startled me.
It. It just appeared.
I mean that was a good thing, but I made it and it appeared. There was no building process or magical spell, it just appeared. One second it’s not there and the next it is. I open the door to the room and I was welcomed with 4 sturdy wooden walls and a wooden roof. Everything was exactly how I made it in my mind. It was incredible. My mind had created a 10’H by 10’W by 10’L cabin.
I walked around the room and felt the walls and the door and the glass. All of it was real and all of it was exactly how I made it. I then proceeded to make a bed and a chair and a table. I was even able to create a common iron knife for protection.
I was astounded by the flexibility and the creation speed at what I was doing. After a while though I felt very sleepy and decided to hit the bed, but before I did, I made a few traps that would wake me if anyone came into my little home. Nothing big, just some bells on the doors and windows.
Once it was all settled, I felt exhausted.
“I guess creating things takes a lot out of you. I’ll start tomorrow with a better sense of what I should do. At least now I have some protection and am relatively safe.”
