Chapter 67-Arata & Zahara

Chapter 67-Arata & Zahara

Usman sat at the edge of his throne, his eyes widening in disbelief as he watched the golden wings unfurl from Arata’s back. His usual air of calm control wavered, and for the first time, there was a flicker of concern in his expression. The light that emanated from Arata’s transformed form was blinding, filled with power unlike anything Usman had seen before.

"This... this wasn't in the reports," Usman muttered under his breath, gripping the armrests of his throne tightly. His gaze darted to his loyal advisors, but they were just as stunned as he was. There had been no mention of such a transformation in any of their extensive intelligence. No Ringmaster had ever possessed an Angel Ring—it was unheard of.

Arata stood tall, his form radiating divine energy, his white halo glowing above his head. The golden wings that sprouted from his back shimmered with a celestial aura, and his presence seemed to push back the icy cold that had dominated the battlefield. Usman clenched his teeth as his mind raced, trying to assess the new threat.

“How is this possible?” Usman growled, his voice barely above a whisper. “No one ever said anything about an Angel Ring. This... this changes everything.”

He narrowed his eyes, watching as Arata faced Zahra, who stood frozen in her Snow Leopard form. For the first time, Usman felt the creeping fingers of doubt.

Zahra’s icy blue eyes narrowed as she stood across from Arata, her powerful Snow Leopard form tensed and ready to strike. Frost continued to spread across the floor, the cold air biting at every surface, but the warmth emanating from Arata’s new Angelic form fought against it. The battlefield had become a clash of elements: ice against light, cold against warmth, predator against celestial.

For a moment, neither of them moved, the tension between them palpable. Zahra growled low in her throat, her claws digging into the frozen ground as she sized up her transformed opponent. This wasn’t the same man she had fought moments ago. The energy radiating from him was different—stronger, more focused, and imbued with a divine power that made her fur bristle.

Arata, now the Angel Ringmaster, felt an overwhelming surge of strength coursing through him. His wings fluttered lightly behind him, and every movement felt effortless, as if the weight of the world had been lifted from his shoulders. The cold that had previously slowed him was now nothing more than a distant sensation, easily countered by the radiant warmth that surrounded him.

Zahra lunged first, her massive body moving with deadly speed. Her claws gleamed as they slashed through the air, aiming for Arata’s throat. But this time, he was ready. With a swift beat of his wings, Arata leapt into the air, soaring above her attack with ease. Zahra’s claws swiped at empty air, and she let out a frustrated snarl, her breath forming frosty clouds in the cold air.

From above, Arata looked down at her, his eyes glowing with divine energy. He raised his hand, and a burst of golden light shot forth, aimed directly at Zahra. The Snow Leopard Ringmaster leapt to the side, narrowly avoiding the beam, but the light struck the ground where she had stood, shattering the ice and stone beneath her.

Zahra landed gracefully, her claws digging into the ground as she spun to face him again. Her icy breath formed swirling patterns in the air, and with a growl, she unleashed a barrage of ice shards, each one aimed at Arata’s glowing form.

Arata’s wings flared out, and with a powerful beat, he sent a gust of wind surging forward, deflecting the shards with ease. The ice shattered harmlessly against the divine wind, but Zahra was already moving again, using the moment to close the distance between them. She leapt at him, her claws outstretched, ready to tear him apart.

But this time, Arata didn’t dodge.

Instead, he brought his hands together in front of him, and a radiant shield of light appeared between them, blocking her attack. Zahra’s claws scraped against the shield, sending sparks flying as she tried to break through, but the divine barrier held firm.

With a sudden surge of strength, Arata pushed the shield outward, forcing Zahra back. She landed on her feet, but Arata was already on the offensive. He soared forward, his wings propelling him with incredible speed, and with a flash of light, he struck her with a powerful punch, sending her skidding across the icy ground.

Zahra snarled in pain as she scrambled to her feet, her fur matted with frost and blood. But she wasn’t done yet. With a roar, she charged at Arata again, her body a blur of motion as she zigzagged across the battlefield, trying to confuse him with her speed.

Arata’s eyes followed her movements, calm and focused. He could see the pattern in her attack, the way she was trying to get around his defenses. And when she finally lunged at him, claws bared, he was ready.

With a swift movement, Arata dodged to the side, and as Zahra passed by, he grabbed her by the tail. The divine strength in his grip was undeniable, and with a single powerful swing, he hurled her into one of the stone pillars with a thunderous crash. The pillar shattered on impact, and Zahra let out a pained yelp as she collapsed to the ground.

For a moment, she lay there, gasping for breath as she struggled to get up. Her body was battered and bruised, her fur soaked in blood and ice. But still, she refused to give up. With a growl, she pushed herself to her feet, her eyes blazing with fury.

“I won’t let you win!” she snarled, her voice ragged but defiant. Her claws dug into the frozen ground, and with a final burst of energy, she unleashed a massive wave of ice and frost, covering the battlefield in a freezing storm.

But Arata wasn’t fazed.

With a calm expression, he raised his hands to the sky, and a brilliant beam of light shot forth, cutting through the storm like a blade. The ice melted in an instant, and Zahra’s final attack was reduced to nothing more than a harmless mist.

Zahra collapsed, her strength finally giving out as she lay defeated on the frozen ground.
