(What the hell did I do again? Did I ate with people? or did I eat alone?) Adrian thought to himself trying to remember what he did.
(Well doesn't matter I don't wanna sit with these traitors anyway)
Adrian takes a plate and starts getting his food.
(Hmmm. Im about to train after this. I should eat a light meal.)
After Adrian took his meal he went to a corner table since it was the only one empty. He starts eating his meal.
*Aerilyn POV*
(Eh?? Didn't he eat his meals besides his friends? Also wasn't it a big meal?)
(I really did something wrong.)
(Damn it. I should really investigate him. But if I do that. Some bigger things my change.)
"Hey Aeri. You seem bothered. Ever since last night, are you alright?" asked by Lesley.
"Huh? Uh yeah im alright no need to worry about me. Im just a little tired."
I keep my eyes on Adrian watching his movements. Well Adrian is pretty clumsy and would often spill his drink. He would also sometimes slip.
"Aeri are you listening?" Lesley asked.
"Well. You should really rest for a bit. After all our training starts tommorow. And it looks like your not yourself today."
"Oh yeah. It's also the day when our stats are revealed. So get a good rest you wouldn't want it affecting your stats right?"
"Yeah your right. After I finish eating I'll head back to my room."
I return my gaze to Adrian but it seems like he was already gone. There were no signs of him spilling his drink nor him slipping.
(Where did he go? Did he already finish? That was really fast.)
"Well. I'll go now Lesley."
I stand up and immediately leave the dining hall.
"Huh? But you haven't finish your food yet."
By the time Lesley finished talking Aerilyn was already gone.
*Adrian POV*
"I need to talk to the king. I need his permission to go to the fields. It's abundant of wind mana there."
I went to the throne room where the king is supposed to be. There was that massive wooden double door that connects the hallway and the Throne room. There were also two guards infront of the door. They were wearing full white armor with golden shoulder pads on both of their shoulder. Their shoulder pads also had the Dalinmar crest imprinted on both shoulder guards. They had their sword in its respective sheathes on the left side of their hips.
(I hope they will let me pass.)
The guards noticed Adrian slowly walking towards them. They immediately recognized him. And opened the door.
"Welcome Hero!" Both of the guards said in unison.
(That's pretty creepy the way they said it at the same time. But I can't complain.)

When I got there the king was talking with some of his knights.
(Oh. It's him huh. Guess it's about time. I need to get stronger.)
The two knights bowed at the king before they turned around and leave.
The Grand chamber is a wide space with two seats made of gold on the opposite side of the room. There were also white pillars that serves as the foundation of the room and the holder for the candles lit up. There were 10 guards half of them was on the right and half was on the left. The Grand chamber also had small windows. Small enough so people can't get in but big enough to delivee fresh air. There was red carpet with flower designs with the color red gold and blue. It was kind of dirty because of the amount of people who stepped on them. I straigthen my posture and looked ta the king.
"Im sorry great hero about earlier. We found something unusual about the kingdom lately. Welcome to my Grand chamber. What are you here for?." The king asked.
(I like this straight to the point.)
"May I humbly ask for permission to head into the Fields of Avaroth?" I humbly asked.
"And what business do you have there?"
(I have nothing to hide. After all he will die soon, Plus he's not part of my "To Protect list". So i should be fine)
"As of right now I have no mana core. So im planning to form one."
"And what is the connection of this to the Fields of Avaroth?" The king asked.
After the king stated his question I looked around and saw his guards preparing to strike me down. All of the guards in the room held the handle of their blade preparing to pull it out from its sheathe.
(After saying I have no mana core. Well, for a hero thats very dissapppointing. I also heard a plan to mobilize the king's army if I was a spy then it would feel like an escape mission after getting the country's plans.)
"My majesty. Do you know about the nature of the mana cores?"
The king fixed his sitting position. His wife the queen just remained silent on her seat.
"Well, Yes I know about mana cores. You inherit your parent's element don't you not?"
"Does your parents live in the Avaroth?." The king added.
"No your majesty. There is another way"
The king widened his eyes. And rests his head on his right hand.
"There are other ways to obtain mana cores. one way is to inherit them. The second way is to steal them by the use of ancient dark magic. And the other one is forming the core itself." I said.
"If you form your core. The most abundant mana element in that location will be your element." I added.
The king looked very suprised. By the discovery gjven to him by Adrian.
"Inherit and Darkmagic is acceptable. But forming the core itself? You must be out of your mind."
"I will show you, your majesty about it." I said with a proud look on my face.
The king remained silent for a few minutes and then said.
"Fine I'll grant you permission to head to the Fields of Avaroth. I shall prepare you a Carriage and food, For the travel to Avaroth will tak you 7 days. You shall leave tommorow right after the Appraisal event."
"Thank you very much your majesty."
I bowed my head and proceeded to exit the throne room. After I got out I immediately started doing some physical training since magic training is useless without a core. I then go to the sword instructor and continued to strengthen my body.
*The Royal Throne*
"That child knows alot don't you think dear?
He seems very confident like he did it before." The queen of Dalinmar said.
"Yes. Its like he encountered this situation before."
"Well in any case I don't really care after all he isn't harming the kingdom."
A few hours have passed. Adrian takes a break after a two hour long work out.
*Adrian POV*
"I might have over done myself today."
"I guess I'll take a little break I should read a book to pass the time."
But by the time I finished the book. It was already dinner. I skipped lunch because I was training. I enter the hallway and took some light food. When I noticed Aerilyn's gaze completely locked towards me.
(She is staring at me again.)
(This is creeping me out.)
Adrian sits on the usual corner table. And starts eating his meal.
*Aerilyn POV*
(He's been gone for the whole day this isn't good something is wrong here. Is he up to something?)
"Looking at him again Aerilyn?? Oh look he looked back haha." Lesley teasingly asked.
"What no its just he feels off."
"He feels off?? I don't get what your trying to say. But im rooting for you."
(*Sigh*, She's got the whole situation wrong.)
(But this should be alright aslong as she forgets it.)
(I'll follow him tommorow and see what he's up too.)
*Adrian POV*
(Ok im done this is too creepy for me)
Adrian looked at Aerilyn and Lesley. He saw Lesley laugh. While Aerilyn was looking at him.
"Are they making fun of me????"
"Oh well im used to it. I'll just head back to my room."
Adrian stands up. And leaves the dining hall. He then climbs the stairs back to his room. He opens the door and entered.
"It's been a rough day. Tommorow is gonna be a busy day. I need to get appraised. I need to pack up. I also need to train while in the carriage. I might get to hunt some monsters too."
"Well im extremely tired I should get some sleep"
Within seconds Adrian has already fallen asleep.
