"Your growth is way too slow. You are not worthy on being called a hero!"
"WAIT PLEASE. I-I CAN FIX THIS.. JUST... GIVE ME ANOTHER CHANCE PLEASE. I just don't know how to get a mana core."
The king looks at Adrian. And stands up.
"There is no other way. You are defective."
"Hero Adrian... No ex hero Adrian.. Leave Dalinmar you are a failure as a hero."
"Wait no. JUST PLEASE ONE MORE CHANCE. IM CLOSE, I CAN FEEL IT. JUST A BIT MORE TIME."
"It has already been 2 weeks since you have arrived. If you are truly a capable hero. You should have formed your core by now.
"But if you are really that insistent. We shall vote on it."
The king looks to his right. Were the heroes were standing.
"You the heroes of Dalinmar will decide."
"T-Thank you." Adrian said with a relieved tone.
"Those in favor on letting Adrian stay. Please raise your hand."
The crowd suddenly started to get noisy echoing in the room. After a while. Aerilyn raised her hand. Along with 2 others.
Adrian looked at the other. In utter confusion on why only 3 people have raised their hands.
"Huhh?? Wha-What... W-why"
"J-Jared I thought w-we were friends." Adrian said while starting to lose hope.
"Louise...You were like a sister to me. PLEASE."
The desperation im his voice started to get more noticable. But Adrian kept talking in hopes that people with raise their hand. But everyone he mentioned never uttered a word. They refused to talk nor look at him. Adrian continued to plea. But only Aerilyn and 2 others raised their hands.
From the crowd of the young heroes murmurs can be heard as it echoes throughout the room.
"That means we get more allowance right?"
"Finally more food for us."
"I always hated him. But he was pretty good at class so I had to stick with him."
These words could be heard.
"Please. Give him another chance" Aerilyn said whilst the other 2 encourage the king to give him another chance.
"Im sorry. He is too weak to bother." The king said.
Upon hearing this Adrian snapped.
"Says the one who sits on that chair getting a fuck ton of food everyday. Must be fun enjoying life huh. While we suffer here. Leaving everything to your soldiers to protect this country. You barely even make a fucking move. Claiming that it was your idea. You barely credit the 7 great families. Once they failed to do something, You throw them away?? Thats bullshit." Adrian said.
"YOU FOOL. TAKE BACK WHAT YOU SAID ABOUT THE KING." The guard said.
"Heh. Try me." Adrian responded.
"You know what? You are all fucking traitors. Who only cares about self gain. GO TO HELL YOU PIECES OF SHIT." Adrian added.
Adrian looks at Aerilyn and the other 2.
"And you guys thanks for trying to help me. You are my true friends. But I guess this shitty king only cares for what other nation think about his country. He doesn't care about the people. All he cares about is the power of his country.
Stolen story; please report.
"You dare disgrace the king? You will not be forgiven for such actions." The elite guard said.
"Kill him" The guard ordered.
The soldiers pulls out their swords from its sheathes and started to charge at Adrian.
"Hold on." The king said as he raised his hand.
"Fine. I'll let you live. Good luck surviving out there." The king said while smiling.
"Don't kill him. Just teach him a lesson. And throw him out" The king added.
The guards hold down Adrian. And beats him up until he lost his concience. Once he woke up all he can see was mountains.
"..."
"Wha?? What... Where am I?"
The sun was blazing hot. Not a single river can be seen since he is on top of a mountain.
"I need to get out of here."
Killing monsters to survive. The rule Kill or be Killed and Eat or be Eaten was applied. He had no choice but to kill monsters for his survival.
He had to drink his fill during the rain. He did everything inorder to survive.
"..."
"I-I made it out of the mountains..." Adrian said.
It took him 3 weeks to get off the mountains. He saw some soldiers with a different crest approching the mountains. But he never cared about the soldiers. He just hid as they passed.
Adrian travels more. And more. And more. he kept travelling unntil he reached the towns and villages. Once he got inside towns and vilkages he started to learn from them. Eventually forming his core.
"FINALLY MY MANA CORE IS DONE!" Adrian said in excitement.
"I CAN FINALLY START MY LIFE."
"I can get a high paying job now."
"I'll have an easier time hunting for my food too"
"I never thought this day would come" Adrian said while his tears flow down from his eyes.
He applies at the guild near the town. And started to do some missions. He would train his body during his free time. Both in magic and physique.
15 months later...
"Hmm.. So this is the ancient relics they were talking about huh?? Well I guess I'll loot it and sell the good. If i get a good find this should be enough to live for a year."
Adrian enters the ruins and continues to head deeper.
[Wind Blade]
Wind starts to surround his sword making his attack range slightly longer and makes his sword pierce through almost anything.
"A clean cut!"
The flameagles get picked off one by one.
"There's a lot of monsters here... No wonder this isn't looted yet."
Adrian continues to travel further. Killing monsters along the way. He eventually stumbled upon a big golden door.
"Well. I guess this is the treasure room?. Time to loot it I guess."
Adrian starts looting the room he entered.
"Golden Spoons... Golden cups.. Golden forks.. EVERYTHINGS GOLD. HELL YEAH" Adrian screamed with an excited tone.
After a few minutes of looting. He saw a shiny orb.
"Huh what's this?"
(Well...My bag is kinda full. But it is what looks like mysterious shiny orb. I need to take this. Hope this sells well.)
As soon as he touched the orb he felt his soul leave his body. He woke up in what seems to be nothing. A girl with a long aquamarine hair was in that nothing place too.
"What the hell is this?"
"Where the hell am I?"
"Am I dead?"
The girl started to walk towards Adrian
(Eh? She's coming? Is she death? I did not expect death to be hot but.)
"U-um miss. I don't mean to be rude but. Who are you??"
"Im death." She responded.
(AHHH. I knew it im dead. What an awful way to die. Getting your soul sucked from some random orb.)
"Hehe. Im just kidding."
"Huh? Am I not d-dead?" Adrian asked.
"No. Your body is just under a sleep spell. Right now you are currently in my domain." The girl responds.
(Oh shit. That's some cool edgy shit.)
"I guess it's cool" The girl responded.
"Huh wait how..." Adrian said whilst confused.
"I told you. You're in my domain i can read your thoughts even your memories." she exclaimed.
Adrian processes this thought when he realized a grave mistake he has just made.
"UM IM SORRY I DIDN'T INTEND TO SAY THAT."
"Oh you mean calling me hot? Thats fine I appreciate complements."
The mood starts to get awkward. Till the girl asks Adrian about something.
"H-Hey wanna make a deal?"
"What deal exactly?"
"Well I can assist you. At any moment. If you're troubled you can speak to me. And other stuff.
"That sounds like a scam."
"Well it isn't" She responded.
"Well? What do you want in return."
She then tells Adrian her request.
Without second thought Adrian responds.
"I see. Lets do it." Adrian said.
"Great."
A magic circle appears between the two of them. With wierd marking symbols. The girl sends out her mana.
"There. Put your hand above it." The girl said.
"Well alright."
Adrian puts his hand on top the magic circle. he feels pain on his and it started to bleed. The blood was getting extracted from his hand to the magic circle.
"Arggghhhh.. What the hell was that."
The red blood chains connects to Adrian's body. While the opposite side of the chain connects to the girl.
"Well. There we go. It's done. Nice to meet you Adrian Miller! My name is Kiana." She said with a smile on her face. Extending her hand out for Adrian to reach. Adrian extends his hand out aswell trying to reach her...
"..."
"What... A dream?"
"Good morning dear hero he had arrived at the town right below the Mt. Luritius! The Town of Torioseus. Five days away from the fields of Avaroth!"
(I need to form my mana core. Just you wait... Kiana... Just a few more days.)
