Chapter 323

Chapter

323

In the chaotic bathroom, Noelle slowly lost her energy to fight back.

Just when her mind went blank, Hendrix kissed her ears and asked, "Have you done it with Dylan before?"

Noelle was still in a trance, so she couldn't answer him, and Hendrix didn't seem to need any answers anymore.

Before she could reply, he covered her lips and said, "Forget it. It's not important. All that matters now is you're mine. We're married, Noelle. You're my wife, so I can only be the one in your heart, and you can only like me. Are we clear?"

Noelle didn't answer, but her pliant body made Hendrix assume that she was obeying him.

Her hand, which was covering her lips, slowly let go. At this moment, Noelle opened her mouth and bit him hard on his hand.

Since Noelle hurt Hendrix, she naturally didn't have it easy that night. He didn't try to hide anything in front of her anymore. The entire night, Noelle almost felt like Hendrix was going to exhaust her to death. It was only when her throat started to hurt that he went to get some water for her.

In this entire process, Noelle did not have it easy. If it was back then, she would have submitted to him, but she didn't want to. No matter how Hendrix tried to seduce her, she did not do as he pleased.

Hence, they could only hurt each other. In truth, Noelle didn't even know if both sides were hurt.

When Noelle woke up, she was the only one left in the room

As she went downstairs, she could feel both her legs shaking. Her knees were scratched, and the occasional friction made her take a deep, painful gasp.

The medicine from last night was placed on the desk, so she just took it today without needing to find it. The moment she swallowed it, her phone rang.

It was a call from Freeman MaƱor.

Noelle was stunned, but she still answered IL

It was Grant, and without saying much, he simply told Noelle that she should return for dinner at Ereenian Manor tonight.

As if worried Noelle might decline, he added that Ophelia felt guilty about not meeting her last time. To make up for it, the chef from the hotel had been specially invited to prepare a meal for Noelle and Hendrix to enjoy together.

Noelle couldn't be bothered to refuse and had no reason to decline, so she nodded in agreement. However, Grant seemed to assume that notifying her mean informing Hendrix as well. It wasn't until Noelle arrived at Freeman Manor in the evening and Beatrice glanced behind her that she realized no one had informed Hendrix.

"I'll call him," Noelle said immediately, holding her phone as she headed to the yard.

It wasn't because she was afraid Hendrix would be angry. It was simply because this was his family home. Whether in the past or present, she had always been just a backdrop here. If he didn't come, she wouldn't even

have a chance to be a mere backdrop.

Noelle quickly found Hendrix's number, but before she could dial it, her eyes caught sight of someone else.

The man was wearing a white shirt, with soft bangs falling over his forehead. His youthful face resembled Hendrix's from back in the day.

Noelle froze in place for a moment.

The man quickly smiled at her and spoke, "You must be my sister-in-law, right? Hello, I'm Nathan Freeman."noveldrama
