Chapter #33: Assassination?

Chapter #33: Assassination?

...

Zastan neither confirmed nor denied the girls' suspicions, but the subtle smirk on his face was all the confirmation they needed. Their eyes widened with realization.

Immediately, the girls turned to him, their expressions playful and coquettish. Elara was the first to lean closer, a teasing smile on her lips. "So, Zastan... do you think we could maybe get some VIP treatment? You know, where we can skip those ridiculously long lines?"

Amara, not to be outdone, followed suit, her voice laced with sweetness. "Yeah, Zastan, can't you help us out? Just for your friends?" she asked.

Fiz and Fiona joined in as well, their playful attitudes intensifying. "Come on, Zastan," Fiz whispered at his ear, "you wouldn't want us waiting in line forever, would you?"

Zastan remained quiet, enjoying the moment. His silence only encouraged the girls, who began to act even more coquettishly. They moved in closer, their bodies brushing up against him. Elara hugged him from one side, pressing herself gently against him, while Amara did the same from the other side. Fiz and Fiona wrapped their arms around him, too, their teasing smiles never leaving their faces.

Zastan could feel the warmth of their bodies, the delicate touch of their soft skin pressing against him. It was hard not to enjoy the attention, especially as the girls' teasing turned into something more intense. They clung to him, their bodies rubbing lightly against his as they continued their playful pleading.

One by one, the girls began to realize what they were doing. Their faces flushed pink, but despite their embarrassment, they didn't pull away. Instead, they continued to lean into him, now with shy smiles but still teasing him.

After savoring the moment for a bit longer, Zastan finally decided to respond. He grinned at them and said, "Alright, alright. I'll make a special VIP system just for you girls at Eternal Enchantment."

The girls' eyes lit up, and they celebrated instantly, their excitement bubbling over. "Really?!" Amara exclaimed, her face lighting up with joy.

Zastan nodded, amused by their reactions. "Yeah, no more lines, no more waiting. VIP treatment. No charge, no hassle. Only for you guys."

Elara practically jumped up with excitement. "This is the best news ever! We won't have to wait in those long lines anymore!"

Fiona and Fiz cheered as well, thrilled by the thought of skipping the queue whenever they wanted. They hugged Zastan again, this time with even more enthusiasm, clearly overjoyed by the special treatment they would be receiving.

...

After some time, it was finally time to depart. The night had been full of laughter, fun, and unexpected moments, but now Zastan and the girls were heading back to the villa. As the convoy made its way through the quiet streets, the girls excitedly chatted about everything they had experienced in the park. All the games they have played, the milk tea, and the fun they had together.

When they finally arrived at the villa, Zastan stepped out of the car and escorted the girls to the front door. As they stood there under the grand entrance, the girls exchanged glances, looking at him with a hint of reluctance.

Elara, with a soft voice, asked, "So... when can we see you again?"

The others nodded in agreement, their expressions hopeful. Zastan smiled warmly at them. "Whenever you want to meet, just let me know. I'm always around." His words seemed to comfort them, and they smiled back, clearly happy with his response.

As they stood there for a moment longer, the connection between them lingered in the air, as if none of them wanted the night to truly end. But eventually, Zastan stepped back toward the car, waving at the girls with a soft smile. "Goodnight," he called out.

The girls waved back, their eyes following him as he got into the car.

As the convoy began to pull away, the girls stood together by the front door, watching as the cars grew smaller and smaller in the distance. They waved until the convoy was out of sight, but even then, one of them. Amara, kept looking into the distance, a wistful expression on her face.

Fiz noticed and couldn't help but tease. "He's already gone, Amara. And yet, you're still staring."

Amara blushed, trying to brush off the teasing. "I'm not the only one!" she replied quickly. "You were also doing the same thing."

...

As Zastan's convoy made its way back to the hotel, the quiet hum of the car engine filled the night air. Everything seemed peaceful, but suddenly, one of the MK3s in the rear vehicle noticed something unusual. A pair of black vans had been following them for quite a while already.

Without hesitation, the MK3 immediately reported the situation to the main car where Zastan was seated.

Inside the car, Zastan listened calmly to the report. His eyes narrowed slightly as he realized what was happening. "They're making their move already," he thought to himself, a faint smirk forming on his lips. "I guess they can't wait, huh?"

He leaned forward, giving a low but clear instruction. "Head to the suburbs. We'll handle this there. Dispatch them when the time comes."

The driver nodded, and the convoy quickly picked up speed, stepping on the gas and leaving the streets of the city behind. The two black vans, trailing them, noticed the sudden acceleration. The driver of one of the vans turned to his partner and smirked. "They've noticed us. Step on the gas."

The vans sped up, following closely behind. Minutes passed, and as they neared the outskirts, the driver of the van noticed the direction they were heading. The suburbs? A dark grin spread across his face as he chuckled. "They're leading us into the suburbs... this is gonna be easier than I thought."

...

Finally, the convoy reached a secluded area in the suburbs, far from the city lights. The cars slowed down and eventually came to a stop in the middle of a deserted street. The two black vans pulled up a few meters behind them, the heavy silence of the night amplifying the tension.

One by one, the men from the black vans began to get out. Burly, intimidating figures dressed in black uniforms with their faces hidden by masks. They carried a variety of weapons.

Such as machetes, metal bats stained with a reddish hue that hinted at past violence, and other crude instruments. The sound of them stepping onto the pavement echoed ominously as they approached Zastan and the others.

On the other side, Zastan's convoy doors opened, and his MK3s stepped out in their sharp, tailored suits. Tall, imposing, and completely unfazed by the armed men before them, the MK3s stood in front of Zastan, forming a protective barrier between him and the intruders.

Zastan stepped out from behind his MK3s, his calm demeanor unshaken. He glanced at the masked men and their crude weapons before speaking in a relaxed, almost bored tone.

"What seems to be the problem?" he asked, his voice carrying through the quiet night.

The men, clearly prepared for a fight, paused for a moment. The confidence in Zastan's voice made them hesitate and falter for a bit, but the leader of the group, holding a bloodstained bat, stepped forward, cracking his neck as if preparing for action.

"You know exactly what the problem is," the leader growled, his voice dripping with menace. "We're here to send a message."

Zastan's smirk widened slightly as he glanced at his MK3s, who were already analyzing the situation, their trained eyes locking onto each of the masked men's weaknesses.

"A message?" Zastan chuckled softly. "Who sent you here?"

...

The man standing at the front of the group remained silent for a moment, his grip tightening on the bloodstained bat. His eyes were cold, and his expression hardened. Finally, he spoke with a sneer, "I change my mind. Dead people don't need to know too much."

Zastan laughed lightly, amused by the man's words. His laughter seemed to unsettle the group of thugs slightly, though they tried to maintain their intimidating posture. Slowly, Zastan raised one finger, his eyes gleaming with confidence.

"It only takes one to dispatch you all." he said, his voice calm but full of authority.

The man's face twisted in anger. He felt disrespected, mocked by Zastan's calm demeanor. "You think you can look down on us?!" he shouted, his voice cracking with fury. Without hesitation, he bolted forward, swinging his bat as he charged toward Zastan and his MK3s.

Zastan remained completely unbothered. He glanced at his MK3s and casually gave the command, "One of you, go."

At his word, one of the MK3s sprang into action. The speed was almost too fast to follow as the MK3 leaped high into the air, clearing tens of meters in a single bound. In midair, he shifted his body into a powerful kicking form, his foot aimed directly at the man charging forward.

The man's eyes widened in horror, and just before he could finish his exclamation. "You're a practi—" The MK3's foot collided with his chest. The sickening sound of bones cracking filled the air as the man's ribcage caved under the immense force.

His body was launched backward like a ragdoll, flying through the air before slamming into the side of the van with a deafening crash. He crumpled to the ground, unmoving, his body limp and broken. Blood trickled from his mouth as his chest rose and fell in uneven breaths. He was alive, but barely hanging on.

The rest of the men froze, their confidence shattered in an instant. This man was their leader, and it only took a brief moment to knock him down.

They exchanged panicked glances, realizing they were not dealing with ordinary people. The sheer power and speed of the MK3 had broken their spirits. They hadn't expected this, and now fear set in.
