Back at the hotel, Zastan asked a staff member in the lobby to help him carry the boxes up to his room.
The staff member, though slightly puzzled by the weight of the boxes, didn't question it and followed Zastan to the elevator.
Once inside the room, Zastan directed the staff to place the boxes by the desk. After the staff did so, Zastan reached into his pocket and pulled out another wad of crumpled bills. He casually shoved it into the staff member's pocket, not bothering to count how much he was giving.
The staff member was taken aback but quickly recovered, offering a deep bow. "Thank you, sir! Thank you very much!"
Zastan nodded, already focused on the task at hand. "No problem. That'll be all."
As soon as the door closed, Zastan's excitement surged once again. He rushed over to the boxes and opened them, admiring the golden rods. "Alright, system," he said aloud, barely able to contain his enthusiasm. "I'm ready to sell these."
[Ding!]
Materials Detected:
Golden Rod: 91 - 500 pts each = 45,500 Points
Zastan's eyes widened as he saw the total points flash on the screen. "45,500 points…" he whispered, a grin spreading across his face. "This is amazing!"
Without wasting a second, he opened the system's mall. But before making any purchases, he decided to take his time, scrolling through the endless options available to him. He was like a kid in a candy store, browsing through the various items and abilities that could be unlocked with his newfound wealth.
As he scrolled, Zastan mentally marked several items that piqued his interest. "This could be useful… and this one too…" he muttered, his mind racing with possibilities. Each item he considered brought him closer to the grand plans he was beginning to form.
After hours of scrolling and planning, Zastan leaned back in his chair, a satisfied smirk on his face.
He has now finalized everything on which where he'll spend his points on.

Days passed, during which Zastan focused on his next steps. He barely left the hotel room, preferring to spend his time inside, indulging in the luxuries available to him like playing games, watching movies, and enjoying the view. As he lounged on the couch, he spoke to himself, a habit he had developed over time.
"Another day, another progress." Zastan muttered, his eyes on the city skyline. "Time to get serious. This development of mine is rather slow."
He decided it was time to spend those points on the mall. Before making any moves, he asked the system, "If I summon these Biochemical Persons, will their identities be leaked?"
The system responded in his mind, its voice calm and reassuring, "No, all identities are protected. Their loyalty and discretion are absolute. You have complete control over them, and no information will be exposed without your consent."
"Good. I can't afford any loose ends," Zastan said, nodding to himself.
"Proceed with the purchases."
With that, he gave the command to purchase all the items, leaving him with just 4,000 points in reserve. The system informed him that he could mentally issue commands to the summoned Biochemical Persons.
"Alright, let's see what they're made of," he thought. "System, summon one Level 1 Manager and three MK2s to my room."

The system complied immediately. As Zastan waited, he called the front desk. "Hello, this is Zastan in room 1208. I'm expecting some guests shortly.
Please grant them access when they arrive."
"Yes, sir," the receptionist replied. "We'll ensure they're escorted to your room without delay."
"Thank you," Zastan said before hanging up. He leaned back on the couch, tapping his fingers together. "Let's see how this plays out."
Moments later, a group of people in suits entered the hotel. The tall man leading them had a commanding presence, and behind him were three sturdy-looking individuals, also in suits. They approached the front desk, and the tall man spoke.
"We're here to see Mr. Zastan in room 1208," he said, his voice calm but firm.
The receptionist nodded, recognizing the name. "Of course, here's the keycard," she said, handing it over.
"Thank you," the tall man replied before leading his group to the elevator. As they ascended, they remained silent, focused on their task. Other guests in the lobby whispered among themselves, wondering who these people were.
When they reached Zastan's door, the tall man knocked.
"Come in," Zastan called out.
The door opened with a beep, revealing the group. As soon as they saw Zastan sitting on the couch, they knelt on the ground and shouted in unison, "Master!"
Zastan was momentarily surprised but quickly composed himself. He waved his hand dismissively. "There's no need for that," he said. "In both public and private, just call me 'Young Master.' Understood?"
The group stood up and responded in unison, "Yes, Young Master."
Zastan nodded, pleased with their response. "Good. Now, let's get to work."
The tall man, now revealed as one of the Level 1 Managers, stepped forward.
"What are your orders, Young Master?" he asked respectfully.
"First, I want a full report on the capabilities of the MK2s," Zastan said, his tone businesslike. "Then, we'll discuss the next steps. We've got a lot to accomplish, and I need to know exactly what resources I should be working, what I should be first doing."
...
The manager stepped forward, giving a slight bow. "Understood, Young Master. My designation is Manager 1, and these are MK2 1, MK2 2, and MK2 3."
Zastan's eye twitched, and he couldn't help but facepalm. "Seriously? That's what you're calling yourselves?" He shook his head, exasperated. "No, that won't do. You know what? I'm not naming all of you; it's too much of a hassle. You come up with your own names."
The manager and the MK2s exchanged glances before nodding. A moment later, illusory panels appeared in front of each of them, revealing their newly chosen names.
The manager's panel read "Darius," while the MK2s chose the names "Hale," "Lucian," and "Gareth."
Zastan smirked, satisfied with their choices. "Much better. Presumably, those are your names now, right?" They all nodded, and he continued, "Good. Now, I want a proper introduction to what you all are capable of. Specifically, the intelligence of these Biochemical Persons—is it connected to their learning abilities?"
The system chimed in, responding to his query, "Yes, the intelligence of each Biochemical Person is directly linked to their learning abilities. The combined learning ability of the Biochemical Persons you've summoned is 133 times that of an ordinary human."
"Interesting," Zastan mused. "So, if three of them are learning or doing different tasks at the same time, their learning ability is split 44 times each?"
"That is correct," the system confirmed.
Zastan pondered this for a moment before turning to Darius, the manager.
"Can you see the translucent windows of the system?"
Darius nodded. "Yes, Young Master, I can."
"Good," Zastan continued, leaning forward. "What's a good way for me to earn more money in my current situation?"
Darius thought for a moment before replying, "With your current resources, I suggest investing in ore refining equipment. This would eliminate the need to pay the 20% fee to the system for conversions."
Zastan nodded, considering the idea. "Alright, makes sense. And what about earning more points?"
Darius responded thoughtfully, "With the money you currently have, you could start manufacturing rods. The ore refining equipment you mentioned earlier could be expanded or upgraded to handle additional tasks as well."
Zastan sighed, realizing that he'd still need to use the system's conversion function to kick things off. "I suppose I'll have to make do for now."
He then looked at Darius and said, "Alright, here's your first task." Mentally, he commanded the system to convert and withdraw a quantity of gold in front of them. As the gold appeared, Zastan continued, "Take all of this, put it into a box, and sell it to a nearby jewelry store."
"Yes, Young Master," Darius replied, signaling Hale, Lucian, and Gareth to begin packing the gold.
Before they could leave, Zastan asked, "How should I summon the weapons from my inventory and distribute them without anyone noticing where they came from?"
Darius paused and then replied, "I'll look into that while carrying out the current task."
Zastan nodded, then added, "Also, while you're out, buy some essential items—communication devices, food, and temporary living spaces for the Biochemical Persons. Even though I can give commands mentally, it's a huge downside that you can't send messages back to me. I can't give out orders blindly without knowing any updates." He handed Darius a piece of paper with his phone number on it. "Call me when the task is finished."
Darius took the paper and nodded, turning to the MK2s. "You heard the Young Master. Let's get moving."
As they prepared to leave, Zastan called out one last reminder, "Darius, make sure you come up with a plan for how to redeem these weapons safely. I don't want anyone noticing where they suddenly popped out from."
Darius nodded, affirming, "Understood, Young Master. I'll handle it."
Seeing that they finally left, he turned back to what he was doing and resumed the movie he had been watching. The plot was thick with suspense, but before long, the day's events caught up to him, and he drifted off to sleep, the movie still playing in the background.
Some time later, he was abruptly awakened by the ringing of his phone.
Groggily, he reached for it and answered, hearing the manager's voice on the other end.
"Young Master, the gold has been sold," Darius reported. "We managed to sell it, though a few dollars below the market price per gram."
Zastan rubbed his eyes and nodded, even though Darius couldn't see him. "Good. Now, I need you to rent a warehouse, something large enough for our plans. I'm authorizing you to allocate $1,000,000 of the cash for this purpose."
He paused, thinking further. "Also, purchase a few vehicles to transport the other Biochemicals to the warehouse. And make sure you hire drivers—but be careful. They shouldn't see anything they're not supposed to."
"Understood," Darius affirmed.
"One more thing," Zastan added. "Bring $1,000,000 in cash to my room. I'll need it soon."
"I'll handle it, Young Master." With that, Darius ended the call.
Zastan stretched, shaking off the remnants of sleep. "Might as well grab a bite to eat," he muttered to himself as he headed towards the hotel's restaurant.
As he was eating, savoring a perfectly cooked steak, he was interrupted by a sudden vibration in his pocket. Pulling out his phone, he saw it was Darius calling again. He answered quickly, curious about the update.
