We couldn’t handle this like any other revolutions. This case was special. The progression was very swift and time wasn’t on our side. We had to finish this as soon as possible.
“Why can’t we just kill the main leaders of this revolution and end it?” Crimson asked. Although this was nonsense to normal people like us, for Crimson, this was his most logical solution. Throughout the history of the server, he never negotiated. It’s either he gets what he wants or he doesn’t. And if he doesn’t, he will obtain it by force.
“Well, I was thinking of doing that but that would only make the fire spread faster.” Loyd answered. Wait what? He actually considered Crimson’s idea? Did Crimson’s madness spread like a virus or something? “The public is not on our side right now. We have to use appeasement to settle this.” Loyd continued. To Loyd’s solution, Crimson nodded with positivity and agreement.
I was surprised that Loyd came up with that solution. We all know that appeasement never works on this server. Whenever you forgive the people for their sins and please them, they will commit a crime once again. Knowing that they will be provided with gifts and pleasure for threatening to start conflict, they will do it again and again. A very good example is the man sitting in front of me in a weird pose.
During the first war in the server, the [Frost War], Loyd first tried to stop the war from happening by pleasing Crimson with items. But that only delayed the war. After receiving gifts, Crimson and
I stared at Crimson and gave him an odd look. He mumbled “What” as I gave him a side eye. I looked back and forth at Crimson and Loyd. I wondered what Loyd was thinking. He knew best that violence and fighting is the only way to achieve peace. He realized that 2 powerful groups can’t exist at once. One must overrule and take over to contain peace. If not, there will always be conflict. That was the way peace was kept in this world.
“Are you sure that can stop the fight? Appeasement never worked in this world.” I asked Loyd. He then looked at me with surprise. His eyes got bigger and he was dumbfounded. I wondered why he would make that face but I realized I never told him I knew about the server. “Oh he knows the history of the server.” Crimson replied to reassure Loyd. “Although he is missing some pieces, he knows most of it. But don’t ask me why he knows about it.” Loyd then sighed with relaxation. He stared at the floor after hearing Crimson’s explanation. I think he might know who I am. Does he know the fact that this world is based off of the server or it is the server?
“Although appeasement never worked, that was only for the villains that tried to take over the town. Like the idiot over there.” Loyd pointed at Crimson. Crimson just said “Huh” as if he was zoned out the entire time. “If we grant whatever they want, we can finish this without causing violence.” Whenever Loyd said “finish without causing violence”, Crimson groaned like a little child who was forced to eat vegetables. “We are going to have to take some money from the vault. We just had a war so we are kind of broke.” Loyd then opened the system screen then started typing.
“Don’t we have to go to the bank then?” I asked with a thrilled voice. “How are we going to get the money?” Loyd silently continued to type on his floating keyboard. Soon after, it made a “Ding” sound. “Oh gosh… I hope Axion doesn’t get mad.” Loyd whispered. He then stood up and came in front of me. He then pointed his fingers at me and spoke, “Transfer.” I was confused until a message popped in front of me.
[Player, “Loyd”, has transferred ‘100,000’ Tea Leaves to your bank account.]
[You have been invited to the group,
I was so confused about what just happened. Okay first of all, the system labeled Loyd as a “Player”. I have no idea what this means but I’m assuming that everyone who was on the server will be labeled as players. Second of all, he just transferred me 100,000 Tea Leaves? How is he so rich? And third of all, he invited me to a group? I have never heard of this system before. Since it’s saying that it’s in the test version, I think this is one of the new features that Peace was talking about when he told me that the server is getting new updates when it returns. But I’m not surprised about the fact that there is something called a group system. I’m surprised that Loyd invited me to HIS group.
“Wait… You invited me to your group?” I asked happily but also with hesitation. I wasn’t sure if he was being serious with all of this. As I looked up at him from my seat, he nodded with a big smile. “But… Why? How do you know you can trust me? I am a mysterious guy who knows the secrets of this town… Are you sure?” I questioned him. If I am being completely honest, I didn’t know if I was worthy of being his companion. It just put too much pressure on me. I’m not even strong. “It doesn’t matter. All it matters is that you risked your life to save me.” He answered. “When we were fighting Duk and I lost consciousness, you fought Duk and saved my life. That’s all that matters.” There were tears falling out of my eyes, Those were tears of happiness. I stood up swiftly then hugged him. Loyd was tall and big. He was around the height of 6 '2. He was very muscular. His body shape was very similar to the regressor who regressed 1864 times.
After wiping the tears out of my eyes, I asked him another question. “How did you get all the money though? I thought you said you were broke.” He then avoided my eye contact like someone who did something wrong. He then hesitantly answered. “Well um… I used the admin code for the government and stole some money from the national bank.” With suspicion, I asked. “So how much money did you steal..?” He then walked away quickly to the mayor’s desk and sat down. He looked outside the building and tried to change the topic. After trials of interrogation, he finally answered. “A couple million Tea Leaves…” That was way more than I expected. Regularly, it takes about 1000 Tea Leaves each in order to survive each year if you don’t buy any expensive skills or utilities. So I was expecting around 200,000 Tea Leaves to negotiate but he got more than 10 times the amount of money I expected. “Wait, give me some! I need money too. I wasted all of mine during the war.” Crimson sneaked behind Loyd and tried to steal. Loyd heavily resisted. The situation settled when Loyd knocked down Crimson with a shoulder throw.

“So since we have the money, I’m assuming we aren’t going to the national bank?” I asked carefully. “Sorry but not this time.” Loyd replied. I was disappointed. I really wanted to visit the national bank in real life. It is one of the most luxurious places on the server. It is huge, around the size of the capitol, and the entire building is made out of blackstone and gold. It also has beautiful chandeliers. “It’s okay. We are going to have to go there someday either way. I promise I’ll take you there later.” Loyd patted my back in order to comfort me.
“So let’s go. Since we have the money, we just need to negotiate with the citizens of the underground city. Then all problems were solved. Right?” I asked. But Loyd stood where he was. He didn’t move an inch. “Well for the underground city situation, yes. But our real problem is how are we going to get to
We stayed in our seats for another hour or so. While Loyd was spinning his chair, he accidentally hit one of the drawers on the mayor’s desk. Then, some sheet papers started to fall off. When Loyd went down to gather and organize all of them, he found a paper file with all the law files in it. As if he was possessed, he curiously looked through all the papers in the file. The file had the records of the laws that were established in the town. It included the ones from the infancy to the most recent events. I walked towards him and helped him organize the files. Looking through these files made Loyd reminisce about the history of the past. Not all of them were good memories but he still missed those days. He instilled the files starting from the most recent events to the current ones.
[‘Limitation on the power of district leaders’], [‘Impeachment of the current Minister of Security’], [‘Plan to hunt down Crimson’]. The files included various and detailed information. They were very specific and included almost every piece of information that someone needed to understand this case. Obviously, I knew what they were without reading the papers. They were all written very well except for the [‘Plan to hunt down Crimson’]. Normally, the cases are written and reported by the president himself, meaning Loyd filed most of them. But this case was different. It was one of the only cases where Loyd wasn’t the president. There were 3 eras in the server where Loyd wasn’t the president. The [Fallen Justice Arc] to the [Blood Hunt Down Arc]. Between those arcs, there was a change in the person who was holding power but it wasn’t Loyd. The ‘Plan to hunt down Crimson’ file was written by the second president who wasn’t Loyd in power. He planned to capture Crimson who was targeted by everyone at the time. But it didn’t work very well. The file's poor grammar and improfessional writing proves how messed up he was.
Soon after, Loyd found an extraneous file. This file was about one of the very first laws established in the town. It was even on the constitution. That’s how important ‘this’ law was. Right after Loyd realized what this file was, he started screaming out loud. He woke up Crimson who was sleeping and shook him with joy. I understood his reaction because we finally found a way to get to

[‘Idea of banning elytras’ -By Jacob Ki].
That was the name of the file. I’m not sure who Jacob is but since there is a name showing the credit to a certain person, this means that it was established by someone not part of the government. There’s other ways that laws could be published. Other than the president directly requesting, a civilian could also request it to the Supreme Judge although it will take a very long time. So it’s just better to talk to the president then he requests it.
So, you might be asking, “What the hell is an elytra????” If you don’t know, flying in this world is basically impossible unless you have special abilities and the only 2 abilities that we know that could make you fly are [Demonization] and [Angelization]. Those 2 abilities turn you into an angel or a demon temporarily and give you wings. [Angelization] is the ability that Loyd has right now. Although he became a corrupt angel, apparently that is still a form of angel. He is literally Lucifer.
Although you can’t fly unless you’re an angel or a demon, there used to be a way that everyone could fly. If you used an item called the ‘elytra’, you could technically fly. It works like a glider. But in the very beginning of the server, Loyd decided to ban elytras because it was too overpowered. I think this was one of the reasons why the conflict between [Frost] and the town smeared so quickly. Loyd and his companions believed there should be regulations and rules. They believed that everything needs ‘order’ such as the government to maintain balance. [Frost] believed that the most important thing was each player’s freedom. They should be free from restrictions and do whatever they want.
“We have plenty of fireworks in the storage rooms! We could use that to fly up to the islands.” Loyd exclaimed. Crimson, who was just sleeping due to boredom, woke up drooling. “Huh… What?” He asked with a sleepy voice. “We don’t even have the recipe for the elytra… How are we even going to get it?” He said with a hoarse voice. All elytra recipes are lost. We can’t craft it anymore. When Loyd banned elytras in the town, he burned all the recipes to it.
Everything went back to the starting point. Although we came up with an idea, we realized that it could not be executed. There was no possible way of obtaining the elytra. “I’ll go to
Crimson had many bases on this server. The number of properties he has probably surpasses the amount of property the government owns. And many of his bases were made underground in order to prevent anyone from stealing his items. In fact, his main house was right next to the entrance of a mine, which leads to the underground city. Did that base have an underground base? It would be better to ask then just think to myself.
“Crimson, do you have an underground base to your main base?” I asked him. “Ugh… Which one? I have like a couple.” He answered carelessly. “The one right next to the underground city.” I replied. “Oh it did but it got destroyed. Axion tried to get mine into it from the underground city and the entrance got blocked. There probably are some elytras there but you can’t get in there at all.” Looks like Crimson already noticed my plan since he is giving me some hints. Right when he said he had some hidden elytras, Loyd gave him a side eye. Crimson tried to avoid eye contact with Loyd as if he was a little kid who did something wrong which he did… I looked at Loyd. He then nodded at me, approving my plan. “I think I know how to get to
