After Zoiph received memories from Sothoth and became a catastrophe, he was able to understand many mysteries that aren't solved yet. Zoiph and Sothoth is one. One Zoiph is the other one. They exist in the past, present, and the future. They coexist at once. They can also transfer memories to each other if wanted. That is Sothoth’s powers. While having the power to look through memories of the past, Zoiph’s most powerful trait, [Historian] also helped him out. Even if he had many memories stuck inside his head, if he didn’t have the ability to organize them, it wouldn’t have been a good use. His head might have overloaded and exploded. This is one of the reasons why Sothoth’s only incarnation could’ve been Zoiph.
Even after receiving powers of the catastrophe and the power of Sothoth and solving many mysteries, he couldn’t understand the view in front of him. Why hasn’t Govind died yet? How was he saved and why is he all the way next to Axion? He even casted one of the strongest sentences, [Destiny] in order to kill Govind for sure. There was some blue lightning sparking on his wings. It’s probably the cost for him to summon such a strong sentence. Not all of the sentences he summoned are the same grade. Depending how strong the force is, it costs Zoiph more and more damage. For example, if he decides to cast a simple sentence such as, “Make Loyd trip on a rock.” it doesn’t cost him as much as mana because it barely harms the victim and doesn't affect the balance of this world but if Zoiph decides to write “Loyd will fall from a cliff and break all of his bones.” Zoiph will receive almost the same damage he casted on Loyd and he will never be able to walk again. The aftereffect that Zoiph receives is also related to who the sentences are directed to. The more famous and the impact the person has in this world, he has to receive less effect or the world’s balance will break. There's also different rarities of the sentences he cast. The one he just casted, [Destiny], forces something to happen at all cost. As it was previously stated, something that will harm the person severely is less likely to happen. Because Zoiph wanted to kill Govind for sure, he was forced to use [Destiny].
But Govind avoided the [Destiny] Zoiph casted. This has never happened before. Only thing that can out due a [Destiny] is another [Destiny] with stronger force and power. Normally, [Destiny] is a sentence related to a famous story or a history. That’s why Zoiph was able to summon a sentencing talking about Govind’s death because even though it wasn’t in this world, Govind died before. Trying to check what kind of [Destiny] was saving him from death, Zoiph hurriedly opened Govind’s profile.

Zoiph was shocked when he saw the effect that was applied to Govind in the moment. The effect, [Grace of Revelation] is also a [Destiny]. The blessing Govind had is in fact one of the strongest [Destiny] in every mythology that exists in this world. The [Destiny], [Grace of Revelation] is a [Destiny] made by the kingdom
After realizing that no matter what Zoiph did, Govind wasn’t going to die, he passively turned away. He could’ve aimed for a different time to kill Govind but he didn’t. It was because he had the grace of the entire kingdom,
When Zoiph set his foot to walk away, he felt a murderous stare from behind. Axion had his crossbow out and prepared to shoot a firework at him. Looking at the color and the look of the firework, Zoiph guessed that it would’ve shot poisonous gasses.
“You know that won’t kill me.”
Zoiph mockingly laughed at Axion. With his anger and wrath, Axion replied to Zoiph. “It doesn’t matter if I can’t kill you. I just have to hold time until Loyd and Crimson arrive. They should be able to kill you.” Zoiph snorted at Axion thinking that his false hope of Loyd helping him was ridiculous. Zoiph believed that even if Loyd and Crimson were the strongest people in the world, they couldn’t win against the catastrophe of deception, Diego. “It really wouldn’t matter if they came here to help you. I am way stronger than Duk and I highly doubt that Crimson would even fight against me or Duk. In fact, I bet he will help me kill all of you-...” The smile and the Zoiph’s arrogant words quickly vanished when he saw the message that appeared in front of him.
[Catastrophe of Deception, user: “Duknotduke” was defeated!]
[Main contribution: Crimson.]
[There is 1 catastrophe that remains in the overworld.]
Zoiph’s despicable and blissful face was sheared when he saw the message. He was already shocked by the fact that Diego was killed but what shocked him even more is the death of Diego was caused by Crimson, one of his best friends. During the first few wars such as the [Frost War], and many other major events that occurred in the server, Crimson, Zoiph, and Duk were the trio. They always fought together and helped each other. But Crimson, one of Diego’s best friends, decided to kill Diego. Zoiph died during the Blood hunt arc and Zoiph was pretty sure Diego died during the [Deconstructed] war. This means that Diego died way after Zoiph’s death. Zoiph was missing out on something. He swiftly searched through Sothoth’s memories to find out what happened but he couldn’t. He couldn’t think of a reason why their relationship would break.
Now, the Axion was the one smiling. Since Crimson and Loyd successfully defeated Diego, they would be heading towards Zoiph, the next catastrophe. The tables were turning. Now, Axion had the upper hand. He just needed to keep Zoiph in place and hold time. Zoiph’s heart started to beat quickly. He was scared that he would die miserably from the new life he earned. As Axion pulled the string from the crossbow and prepared to shoot down Zoiph, Zoiph desperately tried to persuade Axion.

“You know, we don’t have to fight.”
Zoiph said with a calm voice. He tried to hide his feelings of fear from Axion. “My goal was to kill Govind, not destroy the town.” This was true. Zoiph didn’t have any intentions to destroy the town when he became a catastrophe. He was different from Diego who was full of hatred and anger.
“Lies! You are trying to make excuses to run away.”
Axion yelled at Zoiph.
“There are plenty of reasons why you would want to destroy the town. In fact, you are the one who blew up the town during the first war.”
Zoiph struggled to make an excuse to Axion. He wanted to solve things without violence since his only target was Govind but he started to think that he might need to hurt Axion.
“I’m not lying. Although I have caused severe destruction in the town before, this was my home. I wouldn’t want to destroy my home town even if I hate it.”
In the [Frost War] which was the battle between the group Frost and the town, Crimson, Zoiph, and Diego teamed up to attack the town and destroy its government. In that process, Zoiph committed a serious war crime. At the climax of the war, someone from the Frost team blew up major agencies of the town. Because the use of explosives was banned during the war, Frost was criticized heavily. Many people got hurt and this was the turning point of the war. Many people turned their backs on Frost and they lost power. Zoiph, who was on Crimson and Diego’s side, also openly criticized their actions. He blamed everything on Crimson and after the war he was sent to the underground jail for a life sentence. The reason why Crimson was pardoned was because he told everything to Loyd and he promised he would fight for the town and never betray Loyd and his friends. Although everyone thought that it was Crimson who blew up the town during the war, it was Zoiph. But many people don’t know this truth because Crimson wanted to keep his dead friend’s reputation well.
“Ok let’s say you aren’t lying and you don’t want to destroy the town. But you are still a catastrophe! You are meant to destroy the town. If you don’t, you will be killed.”
Axion replied to Zoiph’s comment. It was obvious that Axion didn’t trust any words Zoiph was saying. This wasn’t the first time Axion was fooled by Zoiph.
“Okay I know you don’t trust me on things but I swear, I’m not lying. My guardian allowed me to descend in this world as a catastrophe and do whatever I want. He said I didn’t have to destroy the town because the last catastrophe-...”
Zoiph urgently closed his mouth. Because of his desperation to escape this situation, he accidently leaked important information about the catastrophes. Information about the last quest of this server. As if he catched a silk that seemed invisible, Axion quickly grabbed on to his words.
“If what you are saying is true, we only need to prepare to fight against the last catastrophe.”
Axion pulled his crossbow down and stood up straight with confidence.
“Then there isn’t a reason for us to fight right?”
There was a smile slowly coming out of Zoiph’s face. He saw salvation in those words. He thought he could persuade Axion to let him go.
“Even though you won’t destroy the town, there are still prices for you to pay. You have done a lot of damage to the town.”
Axion dashed to Zoiph and pulled a dagger out. In a blink of a second, he was right behind Zoiph. He then choked and threatened Zoiph with the dagger he just pulled out. “If you tell me the information about the last catastrophe, I will let you go.”
The dagger was getting closer and closer towards Zoiph’s throat. Zoiph tried to resist but because his abilities and skills were focused on long range magic attacks, he struggled. “You really never change in every universe… Do you?” Zoiph, breathing heavily, spoke to Axion. Axion ignored Zoiph and continued to give pressure to him. The blade of the dagger was less than an inch away from killing Zoiph, he finally started speaking.
“The last catastrophe… Is the King of Ruination.”
The dagger finally stopped. Axion stopped choking Zoiph and stepped back. Zoiph who was full of nausea then fell to the ground.
“I read it in my guardians memories… The great Demon King’s plan. He said that the King of Ruination will return from the deepest part of hell and destroy the promised land with all the emotions of hatred, anger, and desperation for revenge.”
Axion silently listened to Zoiph’s information. He was worried that Zoiph would be killed by his guardian for leaking such important information but since Zoiph trusted his guardian’s words, Axion just let it happen.
“My guardian called this the [Prophecy of Ruination]. The prophecy made by the [Outer Gods] saying the monster who once loved the town will soon destroy it.”
Zoiph slowly stood back up from the ground. After growing faith from Zoiph’s information, Axion also helped him get up. Zoiph seemed surprised but didn’t reject the help.
“Is that everything?”
Axion asked Zoiph.
“All of the things I just told you are metaphors and figurative language. I’m also telling you the information I got from my guardian. There are limits to telling you everything I know.”
Zoiph coughed while covering his mouth.
“So, since you aren’t going to destroy the town, what are you going to do?”
Axion asked Zoiph who was slowly walking away. Zoiph stood and looked at the sunset. The beautiful orange sun was setting down towards the infinitely stretched sea.
“To be honest, I don’t know.”
Zoiph answered.
“I wanted to go see Crimson, and apologize but…”
Zoiph turned around and stared at Axion and Govind who was unconscious.
“I think this is where my story ends. As the historian of the server. I should probably leave everything to you guys now.”
There were tears welling up in Zoiph’s eyes. He would be lying if he said that he never wanted to destroy the town as the catastrophe but after looking back at the town, the home he grew up in, he felt nostalgia. He remembered the good old days where conflicts weren’t that serious. The days where they just lived and had fun. Where there was nothing to worry about. While looking at the town which looked very different compared to the first time he arrived, he couldn’t hold his tears.
“I want to go on a journey. A journey where it will help me discover more things and add more knowledge to my database.”
Zoiph broke the silence. He was slowly turning into the old Zoiph, the Zoiph where he was the chill guy on the server. The Zoiph who Jacob admired. The Zoiph who people loved.
“Will we meet again?”
Axion asked Zoiph one last time.
“I don’t know. Maybe when everything is done.”
There was melancholy in Zoiph’s face. He seemed very gloomy.
“I forgot to tell you this but the last catastrophe only appears if all 3 catastrophes are defeated.”
Zoiph left his last words before he left.
“Well then we just won’t kill the next one.”
Axion replied.
“No. You are going to have to. There will be events leading you to the next catastrophe and you will be forced to kill him. After you kill the catastrophe, the last catastrophe will visit you. It’s a chain effect. It’s destined to happen. You can’t stop it.”
After hearing Zoiph’s answer, Axion still had a question in his mind.
“Is that why you are running away from us? To prevent the last catastrophe to appear in this world?”
Zoiph nodded.
“I don’t know if this will work. But even if it doesn’t, I’m going to try to delay the appearance of the last catastrophe as long as I can.”
Ever since Zoiph came into this world, he knew he was going to die. By looking through Sothoth’s memories, he saw a version of himself dying in every single universe. Just like how the last catastrophe is meant to descend into this world, it was Zoiph’s [Destiny] to die.
When Axion asked no more questions. Zoiph expanded his long raven black wings. He then jumped into the sky as high as he could and flew away like a free bird.
*
Soon after we arrived at the Capitol, Axion and Govind also arrived. Axion entered the building carrying Govind on his back who was heavily injured. While the medics took Govind away to heal him, Axion entered Loyd’s office and told us what happened. He explained how Zoiph arrived to this world as a catastrophe. When Loyd and Crimson heard that, they were shocked. What shocked them even more is the fact that Zoiph just flew away without doing anything (Except almost killing Govind). Axion explained how Zoiph had hostility towards the town and how he will try to delay the appearance of the last catastrophe as long as he can. Crimson asked Axion what would happen if Zoiph never dies and the last catastrophe never appears but Axion said he didn’t know. Crimson then relaxed and comfortably sat down on the couch. When Axion was done speaking, Loyd started explaining what happened to us. We then talked about how the next catastrophe was in
