Raz suddenly appeared within a small clearing surrounded by trees. The scent of blood and ashes was strong on the wind. The sounds of scratching and gnawing appeared past the tree lines. Raz slowly looked around, completely confused about where he is at.
“W-What happened?! Why am I here!? Where is here!?” He mumbled under his breath in exasperation.
[Ding! You have died and have been reincarnated by the God above to a new plane of existence! You are a test subject to see how well a human being can live on the planet Nerval!]
A blue screen appeared in front of his face with all of the words being written on it while at the same time being spoken in a robotic voice.
“What are you?!” Raz jumped backward trying to get away from the screen, but it effortlessly floated along with him. As Raz continued to back up he stepped upon a brittle stick that cracked with a loud resounding noise within the forest. The blue screen shoved itself into his face again when this occurred.
[I am your system Ai! I am merely here to get you started! Then I will disperse and you will be left alone with the system by yourself. So as a tutoria- Danger! Quest uploading!]
Giant red words saying quest pending appeared in front of Raz, as he was trying to focus on it he realized something weird. The preexisting noises that were surrounding him were all gone. A shiver runs down his spine as he looks around the system screen to see two red glowing eyes peering at him from behind the tree line. The scent of death has gotten stronger ever since he locked eyes, his body shivered as he felt the presence of impending doom.
[Quest created! Survive the onslaught of the unknown beast:
Mission completion: Get away without dying.
Reward: Tutorial beginning.
Good luck!]
Raz glanced away from the screen to see that the eyes have disappeared. He looks around at the tree lines and sees nothing, but he still has the sense of death is about to appear again. As thoughts raced through his head the sun begins to set, casting shadows all over the clearing. The tree themselves begin to look more and more warped as the light fades away. Soon within ten seconds, all light vanishes, the sun setting way quicker than what was possible on Earth. The only light that Raz can now see with is the system window. Then out of the corner of his eyes, he watches as a dark creature lurks out and bravely walks over to Raz. It looks like a giant black timber wolf but with a skull for a head and red glowing eyes seemingly hovering in their sockets. Some liquid drooled out of its mouth, Raz could only suspect it was blood. He begins to slowly back away from this monstrous creature when it began to circle around him

Raz stayed still in fear as he felt another shiver going down his spine, he knew he’d have to wait for a good moment to run away. But for some reason the creature wasn’t attacking, he felt so lucky he hasn’t instantly become its lunch.
“S-sytem… w-what do I do?” Raz muttered softly.
[Survive!] The system beeped out loudly and joyfully. The monster wolf reacted to the loud noise with a snarl and leaped forward, leaping at Raz but slammed against the window system by accident, interrupting its attack. At that moment Raz bolted, sprinting towards the tree line and leaping onto the first branch he could reach. The wolf after a moment of being stunned, chased after him. Leaping once again and swinging with its paw at Raz. Raz looked down from his spot, grabbed the system window, and shoved it in the way of the claw.
A loud screeching sound occurred, as if metal was being scraped against metal. The system window popped up with a new message.
[Da-amg-ged. Co-orru-upted.] It spazzed out. The system window had three scratch lines that pierced through it, the claws of the wolf creature almost reaching him. Raz scampered up higher into the tree realizing that the window probably wouldn’t be able to save him from another attack. Raz glanced down to see the wolf staying completely still, he looked closer and noticed that it was vibrating ever so slightly. A thin line then appeared from its furry neck down to its tail. As if the wolf had a seam on it that held it together. The wolf stood up on its hind legs and Raz could see the line went down the middle of its underside as well. The furry flesh of the wolf then had blood bursting from the seam, spraying all around and coating everything in red blood. The furry part of the wolf then split into half, both sides falling onto opposite parts of the ground. Standing there now was the full skeleton of the wolf, except it looked warped. The entire skeleton except for the head looked humanoid-like. The wold head then looked straight up at Raz and glared into his eyes, Raz felt as if even his soul was pierced by those eyes. The only thing of the creature that wasn’t bones was those horrible eyes.
