-Ria POV-
For several days I continued a routine of experimenting my elemental martial arts in the dungeon. The cores obtained during my practice were sold for the coins needed to continue staying in the inn. My practice were bearing fruit if I do say so myself. The techniques I visualize during my time in the inn were put into practice against the little green monster. Since they weren’t a threat to me I could freely experiment without any worries of anything going wrong. The time I spent was worth it since some of my ideas ended up a total failure once put into practice.
Elemental martial arts will most definitely prove to be useful investment of my time and effort since it was usable even if I use partial dragon form. After several more days had past I had invented several basic techniques for each element I was capable of using. I had even completely explored the town during my free time. Perhaps its time to go register as a adventurer. There are certain dungeons that requires an adventurer bracelet to enter. The more dangerous it is the higher ranking required to enter for safety reasons.
I haven’t registered as a adventurer since the test was a mock combat with a examiner. I was afraid of injuring the examiner since the examiner for new adventurers were normally at most D rank apparently. The information I gotten from the adventurer association the day before is certainly useful. If I want to avoid standing out I have to defeat the examiner without revealing too much of my strength. If I become a adventurer I could join a team of some sort , despite the fact I look like a child. My plan this time around is flawless.
The dungeon I have been going too is mostly ignored since it had only one floor and the only monster that existed in there were the green man monster which is apparently called goblins. There was one other dungeon nearby which required at the very least to be a adventurer of the iron rank to be permitted entry. This town was famous for being one of the nine suitable for new adventurers. The group I had stalked to reach this town had already departed since they were pretty high ranked in the adventurer community.
Since I have planned out everything and took into account various scenario of what might happen I confidently walked into the adventurer guild with the intent of registering to be an adventurer.
“Excuse me I would like the apply to be an adventurer please.”
“Excuse me may I know you’re age. The minimum requirement is at the very least 13 years old.”
“I’m already 15 years old, I’m just naturally short. May I please take the test.”
“Ok please wait for a moment I will prepare the test.”
My prepared age and excuse seemed to have worked flawlessly. Since I’m unsure of my actual age I had prepare a fake story even if they decided to pry more into my background. Luckily I didn’t need to resort to using it. After some time I was called into the a room behind the counter to take the test. The examiner testing me looked rather young and in his hand he held a wooden sword . As soon as she said we could begin the man seemed to be relaxed as he swung his sword lightly towards me. My movement was somewhat restricted right now since I was wearing my cloak but to counter such a halfhearted blow like this didn’t require much effort to begin with. I used my arm to continuously block the wooden sword he wielded rather poorly if compared to the warrior I was observing for weeks as I stalked him. After counting to about two minutes or so I decided I could end this now without seeming overwhelmingly more powerful than the examiner. He seemed to be taking the fight more seriously now but I easily delivered a soft punch towards his abdomen causing him to faint.
“Did I pass?.”
“Ah yes please fill in you’re information into this form and you will officially become an adventurer.”
I happily took the form and filled it with things I had decided before hand as my backstory. After I gave the form back to her I was given an iron bracelet with my name carved into it. I took the bracelet and wore it on my wrist and proceeded to leave the adventurer guild satisfied how well my plan had turned out.

-Staff of the adventurer guild POV-
Recently the there has been a child wearing a cloak that has been coming to the guild to ask me some information such as the minimal age required to become an adventurer and about the dungeons in the area. She was probably an aspiring adventurer so I didn’t hesitate to give her the answers she needed. It wasn’t harmful since the information she wanted was general knowledge honestly I was rather surprise she didn’t know about it.
Today however the child wanted to apply to be an adventurer and even went as far as lying about her age. I didn’t believe her but it wasn’t the first time a child tried registering as an adventurer before reaching the age of 13. From experience the best method was to show the child that she was far from ready to become an adventurer.
I told the examiner to take it easy on her since she was a child but to make sure he didn’t hurt her. Showing her that she was currently powerless and need to work harder normally worked. The entrance examiner had a day off today so I asked a D rank adventurer I know to help conduct the test. After I allowed her to into the testing room inside the guild she eagerly awaited for me to start the test.
I honestly expected the test to last for a few minutes at best. She would be able to learn her lesson but the situation that unfolded before me was the opposite of what I expected. She easily overpowered his strikes and flawlessly blocked all the attacks as if she was the adult and he was the child. After some time had passed she made him faint in a single punch. A D rank losing to a single punch from a child was something I never thought possible. Maybe I was overthinking things and she was really 15 years old.
I still couldn’t believe it but I was snapped back into reality by the kid asking me if she had passed. Since she did win I had no choice but to allow her to officially become an adventurer. Even as she happily left I was still in shock in all my years I have never seen anything like that happen before.

The first part of my plan was completed now that I’m officially an adventure. The second part would be going to the dungeon I couldn’t go to before. The entrance was actually in town but there were several safety measures taken to prevent children or anyone who isn’t a adventurer from going into it. The place was normally filled to the brim with new adventurers. It would be nice if I could make a friend while exploring the dungeon.
The dungeon this time was 3 floors deep and despite the fact the monster are weak enough for new adventurers it was a maze similar to any of the higher level dungeon. So most people would prepare food and water before attempting to enter. I was no exception I bought some rations with the money I saved up from selling goblin cores. I bought a small pouch I could wear as a belt. I stored the water in a canteen which I could attach it to the belt. The dry meat I stored in the pouch. I didn’t buy any weapon since I ran out of money.
I was allowed through the various blockade set up to prevent non adventurers form entering. Once I passed through the last one there was a rather big open space in front of the entrance. I could see various people forming groups to enter their first real dungeon. Needless to be said I was rather excited since it was much lively over here compared to the one with the goblins in it.
